Jen was so helpful in advance as we wanted to go to a vineyard afterwards. They recommend somewhere and also advised on Ubers etc. adding a bit of ferrying is around also.the kayaking was awesome and Andrew and Jen were just the right mix of instruction and support. The river and surrounding countryside is beautiful. And where you meet is a hill which we climbed on there advice and saw lots of Kangaroos- a great day.Written 22 December 2023
- 345anniem0 contributionsExhilaration &Joy!Mind blown! True exhilaration & joy! I went on a trip with a women’s outdoor group & had the time of my life! I am deaf & have some glaucoma as well & hadn’t been paddling for some years so was a little trepidatious at the start as to how I would go. But the leaders are very experienced & attentive to all in the group. I soon began to feel at ease & got right out of my head & into the physicality of being in the water & moving with ease in it. There is real beauty & fierceness, adventure & physical mastery in white water rafting. Not to be missed! I’m hoping to do a lot more of this & further develop my skills.Written 16 January 2022

Highly recommend!
Very well organised and easy to deal with. Andy and Jen were both professional, friendly and relaxed. They really focused on our group being not only being safe and getting the maximum enjoyment out of the afternoon.
An excellent place to enjoy a beautiful part of the river. Some fun rapids and time to chill and swim.
I will be back for a longer trip with the family.

Jen and Jarrah were amazing guides who were super friendly and fun, but also very professional and made us feel safe. It was a beautiful experience paddling along the Yarra and going through the rapids all whilst being immersed in nature and gorgeous scenery. Jen also took photos and videos which were a nice thing to keep for looking back on, and also gave us snacks along the way! I would highly recommend the Yarra Rafting experience with Warrandyte Adventure Tours.

What an excellent experience. Jen and her amazing four legged support team Ruby treated us to an amazing half day rafting down the Yarra. She was very well organised, a great, knowledgeable and patient instructor and guide. Myself and my two young sons had a really special time. Jen took loads of pics and videos of us during the trip, which she airdropped us at the end. A great time and I can recommend it highly. We’re now looking at doing the longer full day excursion as it was such a great day.

Such a fun day out, we booked last minute as wanted to explore the Yarra Ranges and Yarra River. Jen & Andrew were so accommodating and easiest to book and pay direct with them! Fantastic day rafting, really enjoyed Andrews’s knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area, reaching us all the paddle techniques and my teens (13 & 15) could go solo in their own raft which was very cool. Fantastic family day out! Highly recommend this trip with Warrandyte Adventure Tours!

The guys at Warrandyte Adventure Tours took a group of our Outdoor Education class on a trip down the Yarra. This was a great experience with all the equipment supplied. All of the students had a good time. This was one of the best excursions I have been on.

Thanks to Andy for guiding our diverse group down the not so treacherous Yarra rapids! A great little trip with lovely fresh fruit snacks and salad wraps at lunch. :-)) Somehow he managed to get some good video shots while assisting us to negotiate some of the narrower bits - thanks Andy. In particular, thanks for towing Grandma and Grandad for a short stretch to give us a rest, even though we didn't really need it - we were just taking advantage of his kind offer! A thoroughly enjoyable trip that was very professionally run in an extremely friendly way.

We had a great time paddling along the Yarra river. The rapids were fun, but not too intense. Lovely scenery with some interesting facts from our guide. Andrew was relaxed but in control, with a great sense of humour. I thought his instructions at the beginning of the morning were really useful and informative. Would highly recommend this trip!
