Great guide, amazing experience. Was way crazier than I thought it would be and I loved every second of it. Even the huge cricket bugs were friendly

I'm 75 years old and I made it through OK, however you do need a level of fitness and agility as some of the sections can be a little challenging. Paul and his off-sider were excellent guides. It was a great adventure and though it's fair to say I probably won't take up full-time caving, it was good fun to have done.

So fun! Really challenging and different, but we felt super comfortable with Paul the whole way. Get ready to get dirty though!

Awesome fun experiencing the Yarra river rapids! Paul made the adventure fun and explained everything really well! Dave and I had a great time getting stuck on rocks and mastering the PinBall! Great way to spend a Saturday morning! Bring a change of clothes!

Excellent morning!!! Highly recommend... it’s like being a tourist in your own city! Paul was patient and lots of fun with clear instruction. Great for first timers as river is low at this time of year, but enough to get a taste. Planning my next trip with this company already!

We weren’t sure how we’d feel about going underground in the dark and having to crawl into tight spaces but it turned out to be an interesting adventure. We opted to go for it since the tour description said there were many exit points, but once inside there was no desire to exit but to push forward and experience more. It was fun wedging ourselves through the small holes while at the same time feeling a sense of accomplishment for being able to complete the challenge. Our guide, Paul, was patient with us and encouraging and it was amazing how fast he zipped through each crevice. It is something worth trying especially if you want to conquer your fears and see how far you can push yourself. Might be a good idea to bring knee pads if you have them, but we appreciated the battle scars endured!

We got lucky with this - abseiling in the You Yangs. A nice easy "beginner" grade rock face, a very friendly and knowledgable guide, Adam, and just my partner and I. We had the whole time slot to ourselves and were allowed to go down the rock face as many times as we wanted within our booking time. Would recommend.

Caving was well organised and Paul is a fantastic guide and showed the experience he had. It was challenging but it was great fun, and he was really good at explaining the fine details too

It was great fun and not too difficult for beginners. The instructor was clear, patient, flexible with our needs and fun to raft with. Scenery was great too if you want a day away from the city. Recommended!

Paul is a very professional, friendly and experienced guider. Never been so close to the nature and Yep! That's caving all right! Glad had fun. Those paths and rocks we pass on our journey, not many people take. It's all training your skills upon the dangers in life. Done this awsome Caving experience with Paul of The Adventure Merchant. Paul has great experience in this cave. He will make sure all participants get in and out safely. Great fun for the family. Must try for a great experience.

Had an absolute blast white water rafting and then caving with Paul. Very informative instructor and a great guy to have along with you for the experience. I would recommend the Adventure Merchants for anyone wanting to try something new or even just looking for a bit of excitement.

A little nervous at first but soon became engrossed in the challenges of crawling, climbing and wading through streams. A great experience and I am proud of every one of the scrapes and bruises I managed to get along the way. The guides were fantastic, helpful and encouraging. If I can do this at 66 years of age, anyone can!!
