Michele set us up with an awesome day on e-bikes in Tuscany. My wife, 12 year old son, 10 year old daughter, and I each had our own bikes and fit to size. The map was excellent and the roads were perfect for e-bikes. We stopped in Montechiello for lunch and enjoyed the beautiful village before making our way back to Urban Bikery taking in the iconic Tuscan countryside. Beautiful day and exceeded our expectations. Easily one of the highlights of our 10 days in Italy!! Don’t think twice- UB is the way to go!

We loved this wonderful bike ride thru the hills of Tuscany! Even though we had the luxury of the e-bike, the ride was quite intense. The route included some serious hills, but the views were out of this world. The lunch that was included was lovely. We are so happy that we were able to enjoy this incredible experience.

July 2024 - We (family of four with 13 and 14 year old kids) took the train from Florence to Montepulciano to catch this incredibly enticing e-bike ride through Tuscany from Urban Bikery (travel note - the train station in Montepulciano is located about 15 or so miles from the actual town of Montepulciano where Urban Bikery is - you can cab or bus to the base of the town and you can then walk from the base or take a shuttle the rest of the way up. Before our ride, Enrico (awesome) demo'd the bikes for us (and graciously bought me an espresso at the cafe next door to the shop - thank you Enrico!) and explained the tour and we were on our way. This was one of the most picturesque and interesting bike rides we have ever experienced. As expected, the views were stunning, the e-bikes were killer, we had lunch in a medieval town at La Guardiola in Monticchiello, and we felt like we were better acquainted with Italy just a bit... Highly recommend. Hope to return for more Urban Bikery experiences.

All organised online with a small deposit before we left home. We were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived to collect our bikes. The equipment and setup was all top quality and made for a really enjoyable day cycling from Montepulciano to Pienza and back through Montechiello. The app they provide makes it super easy to follow the route and cycling is such a great way to get a feel for the area.

This summer I purchased a stunning leather bracelet from Urban Bikery in Montepulciano, Italy, and I couldn't be more pleased with the product and the outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, the bracelet broke after a few weeks, but Michele quickly replaced it with a new one at no extra cost. The genuine care they demonstrated was truly exceptional. This review is long overdue, but it's better late than never because Urban totally deserves it. I went on a trip to Italy in October 2022 with my girlfriend, and one of my favorite moments of our 17-day trip was e-biking all over Tuscany's landscapes. It was an unforgettable experience biking through vineyards and cute dirt roads, effortlessly reaching all the castles and little towns that are scattered all over the region. Regarding Urban Bikery, I highly recommend them. From the first time we contacted them, we were assisted by Michele, who provided us with clear information and answered all our inquiries. We felt very assured, considering that we were traveling from Guatemala and knew nothing about Italy and traveling there. The bikes were excellent, and it was really cool to be able to travel such long distances on a bike. Just remember to bring comfortable clothing and shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, and water, and don't forget to use Google Maps or a similar app. Start as early as possible so that you're not in a rush. Don't plan too much; just enjoy the fresh air and go with the flow. You can't go wrong here. After you return the e-bikes, be sure to have dinner at the beautiful Montepulciano. Thanks to Michele for the unforgettable experience. It was amazing, and we'll be forever grateful. The staff are outstanding and very helpful. Biking through the Tuscan countryside (with the added ease of a battery) was absolutely amazing. Take the scenic tour, on the dirt roads - there was no one around and it was literally biking through the countryside you imagined when you thought of coming to Tuscany.

Great experience!!! The owner was so nice and genuine and definitely loves what he does. He was so happy when we came back and told him how much fun we had! The bikes are also super nice and new and easy to use, highly recommend!

Awesome way to enjoy the countryside! We truly enjoyed our half day tour. The shop has incredible service, neither of us had any experience with e-bikes, everything was explained clearly and the assist from the battery was essential to make the hills doable, in fact it was easy and fun. The trails were peaceful and the views were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend reserving bikes to enjoy this experience!!

The guys at UB were outstanding. They set us up with good bikes, gave us awesome directions on a tour that fit our needs and were flexible as they learned more about us. The tour was great. E-Bikes performed really well and seeing Tuscany on bikes was the way to go. Highly recommend UB. They made it all come together for us.

Super friendly staff & good explanation of the bikes. They offered us water & beer when we got back from cycling (which was much needed haha) and took the time to have a chat with us!

This was te second time we did an urban bikery tour (first time was in Septembre 2020). It was (again) the highlight of our holiday! The bycicle is really supporting, also if you are not really trained. The route had stunning view. The guys help you out if you would like to do an other route, they have plenty of suggestions. This is a real must do, if you visit the area!

Fantastic day! Arrived around midday, hired the bike for the afternoon. Followed the route on the app which was really easy to use. The bikes are great- you can work hard or take it easy by adjusting the powerThe riding was on quiet roads or gravel paths with spectacular views. I stopped in 2 towns, and had lunch at a restaurant the Urban Bikery recommended in Pienza with stunning views of Val D'Orcia. I didn't want the day to end! But when it did I enjoyed sharing a beer in the bike store, sharing stories with all the customers returning their bikes at the end of the day. I highly recommend seeking out Urban Bikery if you are anywhere near to Montepulciano. It is the perfect way to see the countryside.

We’ve just had a fantastic afternoon riding through some of the best countryside in Europe on hire bikes from Urban Bikery. The scenery was stunning and the hill top towns and villages are a joy. But to see it from one of Urban Bikery’s E bikes is something else! The staff in the shop are polite and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you Urban Bikery.

I cannot say enough that this was the most amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Tuscany in May this year. We rented the bike for the whole day and all we had to do is follow the GPS around the Tuscan countryside. The routes took us to some of the prettiest towns in Tuscany! This is definitely a must do experience in Montepulciano. It is extra special for us because my (then) boyfriend proposed along the route between Monticchiello and Pienza as we stopped to admire the view. It was amazing and special and gorgeous! I cannot wait to go back and experience it all again!!! The Urban Bikery staff are amazing (they were the first people we celebrated our engagement with)!
