I made contact with several companies and decided to go with Charan and his company Oman Safari Tours. We agreed on a select private tour which saw me met early at the arrivals point of the airport. I made a day tour with his guide Asaad, who chose a hidden restaurant to stop for an amazing lunch. Asaad was a most friendly guide who helped make the tour an unforgettable experience. The day was beyond my expectations and I highly recommend anyone to 1/ visit Muscat/Oman and 2/ Choose the long stopover with Oman Air (super airline!!!) and do a personal city tour or longer if possible. This breaks boring long haul flights and will open your eyes to a hidden jewel in the ME.Written 4 July 2023
