Great tour with best tour guide!
Jul. 2019
This was our 2nd day tour with Scotland's Wild Tours in the same week. Absolutely outstanding day spent in the beautiful Scottish loches and highlands. Great guide Mr. Derek, friendly, accommodating and very professional. I recommend it to any one.

Awesome views fof Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park
Aug. 2019
We did the tour with Derek who was great!! With only a few days to spend in Glasgow we wanted to do some hiking and sightseeing and not spend the whole day in a bus with a large group of people. This was a perfect way to spend the day in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Derek showed us all aound the special areas in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. We did several hikes with beautiful views got lots of historical background on the area and got to see some beautiful historical buildings. All in all a great way to spend the day with a small group of people. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see and experience the beauty of Loch Lomond and Trossacks, we would never have been able to this tour on our won and be able to see that much!! If we were to go back to SCotland would definitely look this company up again. Thanks again Derek for the wonderful experience!!!

The perfect way to spend your day
Apr. 2019
Having done both the Highlands & Glencoe and the Loch Lomond tours, I can confidently say that it was a breathtaking experience! John and Derek were extremely helpful and knowledgable throughout the whole way, and made our journeys a very pleasant adventure.

We went all through Scotland's natural wonders and loved every second of it. Highly recommended.

Can not speak more highly of the custom tour John created for our family. John is a great bloke, knowledgeable and relates exceptionally well to all ages - he could be part of the family (actually he is now welcome in our home!). Showed us the best of the areas we wanted to visit, getting us off the beaten track for some amazing lifetime memories. Thanks so much John - you exceeded all our expectations.

Once in a lifetime experience!
Jul. 2019 • Friends
John and Alasdair from ScotlandsWild did an amazing job putting together a jam-packed tour including in-depth whisky tours, each different from each other, a cooperage, boat ride, bar hopping, breath-taking sights and phenomenal accommodations, all working within a workable budget. Friendly and helpful, getting stores to stay open later for us, it could not have gotten any better! I can't wait to come back!

good afternoon.its been a week since im back from scotland, visited 9 distilleries in 6 days..this was done using scotlandswild, with allistar as our driver.from the moment he picked us up at airport to saying goodbye to us,we had a great time.it would not have been possible without allistar.prompt pickup in morning, informative conversations on the way to our destinations, even going out of the way to show us places only a native would know...this was for 6 days, not a one day tour..i highly reccommend them and would use them again without hesitation

Authentic and Energetic Tour!
Apr. 2019 • Family
John led us through an amazing day trip outside of Edingburgh. He was very accomodating and flexible to adapt to what he thought would be best for our group. He told amazing stories and had very postitive and contageous energy. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with John, as you will see many authentic and cool things and can get good variety - if that is wht you want (we did a mini hike/walk, a boat trip, distillery, an old castle, and saw some local coffee shops / cafes - which was a great blend and authentic way to see the lowlands in one day)

Great Tour!
May 2019 • Couples
We took this tour as a way to see the interior of Scotland and to see the natural beauty of Scotland. This tour did not disappoint. Our guide, Derek, did an outstanding job of guiding us around the National Park and the Loch. We were able to stop a couple of times and do some light hiking to fantastic vistas and once or twice Derek brought out some yummy cookies and a "wee dram" to sample while he told stories of the history of Scotland. The stop at Lock Voil was a fantastic view point.
Lunch was at a local place where several other tours also had lunch, but it was efficient and very good. I had haggis - yummy. There were also some Highland cows to feed if you wished.
Even the ride in the van was nice as the views were beautiful and the van brand new.
I recommend this tour, it was a great time.

John is such a special person! He organized a perfect day for us. His enthusiasm and sincerity is so great!
Our trip started with a lovely hike around a portion of Loch Lomond. The blue bells covered the wood’s floor and the sun shined over the loch. John’s past job as a Park Ranger truly enhanced the whole day.
From the hike we took the steam boat, “Sir Walter Scot”, on a tour around Loch Katrine. What a treat! My husband was especially enchanted by the oldest running steam ship in the UK. We saw Highland cows, toured the Deanston distillery (so cool and authentic). He ended the tour with a castle tour from the Game of Thrones’ pilot! All in all the day was perfect and John is a gem!
