In a Rib boat we will drive to where we can see the idyllic little island Gåsvær that holds a little church out in the open sea. From here the view toward north is undisturbed and we will see the sun that never sets… The midnight sun.
Harbor seals are often seen popping their heads up from the water and
if we are lucky, we might also see the small harbor porpoises. Shags, the white-tailed eagle and the Golden eagle is a common sight in our area as well as puffins, guillemots, theists, and European storm petrels.
If the weather and the tide allows it, on the way back from Gåsvær we will stop at our lovely place called Risvika.
Risvika is today the homeplace of the family Risvik that for generations has had a smaller farm here, fishing was also a big part of their life.
Note: Taking our part of the responsibility for the environment we are two small companies that cooperate in time periods of low participant numbers. Therefore some nights your guests might meet our partner on the pick up.
