Northern Lights Chase Including Possible Bonfire Experience from Tromso
From USD 132.42
Overview
While visiting one of the areas known for the best views of the northern lights, there’s no reason to miss out on seeing them. This northern lights tour picks you up in Tromso and takes you into the Norwegian countryside at night to chase the aurora borealis. As well as round-trip transport, warm snow overalls, photos tips, and a tripod are also provided.
What to Expect
This northern lights chase starts with a hotel pickup in Tromso. Your group is limited to 16 people, so you can thoroughly enjoy your experience.

Head out to the Norwegian countryside with a guide. You don’t have to worry about getting lost at night because your guide knows the region well. You can also borrow snow overalls to put on to keep you warm.

As you ride, your guide relays fun folklore and facts about the northern lights. When you find the lights, your guide will help you set up your own camera to take the best photos. Also pose for a picture taken by your guide that you can download after your trip.

If your travels take you in the direction of a Sami camp, you’ll stop and spend time by a bonfire sipping hot drinks to warm up.

Your northern lights tour ends with a drop-off in Tromso.

Bad luck but great guide

The aurora activity was very low the night of our tour and the weather was cloudy. Our guide was super friendly though and tried her hardest to get us the best chance of seeing the lights. We took a very long drive into Finland in...More

We were picked up by Trine (She's the boss of the company) in a minivan in the centre of Tromso. Before we got moving we were back out of the van in a flash - Trine yelling "quick! quick!" The Northern Lights were flashing above...More

We also had Opal as a Guide and driver, a very vivacious and nice person who guided us to their camp. We had coffee, tea and cakes around the fireplace. The Aurora was amazing and we stayed all the time there. I missed the marshmallows...More

Hi guys Yes we had a great time, and of course, you was here for the northernlights, and we did see it, but sometimes we just forget the marshmallows, we spent a lot lot of time outside, and did take a lot of picture of...More

Lights poor = lots of sitting

The lights were just not cooperating the night we went. Thus, there was a whole lot of sitting around inside a wooden hut. The guides didn't provide any stories, information, or fun facts, so the group of 10-12 people sat around staring at each other,...More
