As you explore Vienna’s ornate Old Town, you’ll learn about Adolf Hitler’s early life and visit Jewish architecture that survived the Holocaust. The walk begins at the meeting point in front of the Albertina museum, next to the opera house. On this tour, you'll get an insight into Hitler's early years. Find out what and who influenced young Adolf Hitler’s mind; hear and see what 53 bomb attacks with more than 100.000 bombs did to the city; learn what happened to the once huge Jewish community of the city; see the only Synagogue that would survive the Nazi regime; and take a look at the Holocaust memorial.
Plus, you'll learn about how Vienna was divided after the war; why it was the only city in the world; where the Allied Powers managed a zone together; and why there is still a Heroes' Monument of the Red Army in the city.

Brilliant and informative guide

This tour is very interesting if you have an interest in history. Our guide, Dieter, was very informative and approachable and was happy to answer any questions. Around 2.5 hours long but there was a chance for small breaks at certain spots. Would highly recommend!

Great tour with Dieter.

This was a great tour to take in Vienna. Make sure you ask for Dieter as he is a qualified historian and spoke clearly and slowly for all to understand.

Google the business and try texting them. We had a lot of trouble finding the tour and that's how I found them - by texting back and forth. Good luck.
