    What to Expect
Since the reign of the Habsburgs, the Orangery at Schonbrunn Palace has been a cultural epicenter, showcasing fine musical and artistic talent. The great Mozart himself competed in a musical contest here in the 18th century against the imperial court composer Antonio Salieri.

Arrive at the grand concert hall and settle into your seat in either the front, middle or rear, depending on the ticket category selected at the time of booking. Listen to the revered Schonbrunn Palace Orchestra or Ensemble perform works from Mozart and Strauss, accompanied by singers and ballet dancers.

Should you choose to upgrade to VIP seating, you will be treated to a glass of sparkling wine at intermission.

Took our daughter to celebrate her 30th Birthday and we left at intermission as we were sooo disappointed! It was really a second tier performance made a bit cheesy by the opera singing that wasn’t advertised as being part of the program. I would not...More

This is not as described. The concert hall is a conference center style room with projected lights on the walls. Seats are stackable chairs covered in red cloth. “Symphony” consists of 15 players. One bass. 2 brass. 2 woodwinds. 1 drums. No other percussion. They...More

Wonderful !!! It was slightly confusing about where we had to go to get to the concert area - the directions said as you enter the grounds, immediately, so we did, and that truly is the way to go, but then you walk quite a...More

Although the music of Mozart and Strauss is very familiar it is worth hearing it in the Orangerie of the Schloss Schönbrunn. The acoustics is excellent. The conductor seemed to enjoy every moment of the performance and the supporting dancing an added touch. We sat...More
