Perfect Experience to learn a lot about Cyprus, Cypriotes, Food and Wine
Christina (excellent guide) brought us to different places (home made Halloumi, local house & bread baking, winery, excellent food, olives, monastry). Every place was very special and we learnt a lot about the cypriotic life in the countryside. Great experience!!

    Fantastic vineyard tour
Maria was an absolutely fantastic guide. Very welcoming and knowledgeable, the day was fun with a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Very good value for the number of wines you try, as well as the very tasty meze lunch- which includes more wine!

What a cracking start towards the start of our weeks holiday in the cooler (22°:) month of November in Pathos. I did what you're doing now before booking and read the reviews to see what others had to say. And I'm here to assure you that you won't be disappointed. The words 'Value for money' sum this tour up. Everything from Cheese sampling, Olive oil making, traditional bread making, wine tasting and a lot more. All under the guidance of our super educational tour guide Maria. Thank you once again for the memories and remember us, cos in the words of Arnie, We'll be back👍🍷

What a fabulous day. A small group of 6 guests made for a very relaxed day. Our guide, Elena was very keen to show us the delights of Cyprus food & wines. To see the producers in their own environment gave an insight into the differences between the the product of Cyprus & those available in the UK. Loved the salted Haloumi, the wine tasting (enjoyed some more than others but that's true of many things), whioknew that olive oil could be used in a sweet jam? Our lunch mezza was lovely, lots of choices and more than enough quantity wise. The location on a patio overlooking a valley was gorgeous We loved our host Elena who was personable and took lots of photos of the whole group during the day. She also has the knack of leading a conversation to get started and allowing the guest to to follow that lead and bond through the day. Some parts of the day were a bit challenging for those of us with mobility issues, the monastery had a lot of steps, but we overcame. Overall a lovely day and highly recommended if food & wine is a pleasure of yours.

    A wonderful trip, highly recommended
I can’t rate this trip highly enough. Dimitri our guide took us to a small house making halloumi, you must try the hawthorn jam it goes very well with halloumi. The monastery was fascinating and Demitri knew so much about the history and the wine made there. Lunch in the village was delicious and the visit to the winery was great. A final stop at a traditional house finished the day perfectly. Thank you Dimitri for your kindness and sharing your knowledge of this wonderful island.

Great tour whether you’re a wine buff or like me, you just want to try something different.
We booked this tour during our couple of days break in Cyprus. Our guide Christina couldn’t of been more helpful. She was very knowledgeable of the area and wineries and is a real people person with an abundance of positive energy. We’re both not huge wine lovers and I rarely drink wine but I wanted to try something new and did not regret it. We learnt a lot about wine, the local area and had a wonderful meal as well, recommend booking this tour whether your a wine buff or a novice like myself. A bonus of this tour was Christina took photos for us and then uploaded them later for us to enjoy, this meant we could live in the moment and not worry about taking our own photos- something I’ve never seen done on a tour before.

    Holiday Highlight
Our tour guide Elena picked us from our hotel and was friendly and approachable throughout. She took us to six different stops which collectively offered an array of food, beautiful views and were insightful to Cypriot culture. This eventful tour exceeded our expectations and was excellent valve for money. I highly recommend Cyprus Taste Tours.

    A very enjoyable day.
Maria did a really good job on this tour. She was patient and friendly at all times. The tour had just the right amount of conversation and information. The producers we met were a real mixed bunch but all with amazing skills and varied personalities.Although we were at the end of no doubt a long procession of visitors this season, you would not have known.Elvis was still in the building and you will have to go to find out which building and how he is protected. We are often suspicious about how 'lunch included' pans out but no fear it was delicious. What is not to like about finishing up at a sweet shop?

    Favors of Cyprus
Great trip! Dimitri (our guide) took us to places we wouldn't have gone on our own. A bakery with wonderful bread with herbs and olives, a "garage" maker of wonderful cheese, or a traditional Cypriot country house, with delicious coffee and eggplants in syrup, are places we would love to return to. Plus, fantastic views along the way, a mountain monastery, a winery, or a traditional tavern in the Cypriot countryside rounded out the experience. Go on this trip - it's really worth it!

Great wine in an amazing setting.
An excellent wine tasting tour with a delicious lunch and trip to a monastery included in our Troodos Mountains trip today. Maria, our tour guide was excellent and the wineries were all very interesting and the wine and food delicious. The views of the mountain were amazing too and as we were just a small group it was nice to chat to the other participants. A thoroughly worthwhile tour.

Stunning views and a variety of wines 🌄💙🍷
Christina, our tour guide, was warm, passionate and full of knowledge about Cyprus. Our tour included 5 stops along the troodos mountains, 3 wineries, a monastery and lunch at a traditional tavern. The wineries were very accommodating. We tried 6 different wines at each winery which were very varied. We has chance to buy a bottle too which we will savour. The views were absolutely stunning during the drive and in the wineries! We shared a traditional lunch together with two other couples and Christina made our experience full of life, laughs, and stories about Cyprus. We had such an amazing day, thankyou so much Christina and Cyprus taste tours! Lucy & Andy x

This was a great experience, the guide Myra was lovely and so knowledgeable. The trip had lots of stops and lots of wine to taste. The halloumi making was fantastic including the lunch, so much food we couldn’t finish it. Small group with four other people who were lovely, would highly recommend it. Thx Myra for a great day.

We booked the Halloumi Heaven & Commandaria Crusade tours and both far exceeded expectations. Christina, our guide, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and had such an obvious passion for her work, making us relax instantly on our first tour and eager for the second to come around. The places we visited were truly authentic; being small places we would barely notice on our own, let alone think to walk in. Tastings were generous and all the Cypriot proprietors had real passion and pride in their produce. The extras like village tours, monasteries and stops at selected shops just added to the experience. We had a brunch and a mezze lunch and both were easily among the best and most authentic meals we had during our time on the island. We can’t recommend Cyprus Taste Tours enough. Our short holiday became a treasured experience. We are, however, heading home with 31kg of extra baggage - so plan ahead because you will want to buy the incredible wines you try!

We were warmly welcomed by our guide Christina. A small group of four and we were soon chatting with ease. The tour began at a Halloumi Cheese family farm. We learned first hand how they make the delicious halloumi cheese and participated in that day's production. It ended with a sampling of fresh halloumi cheese, bread and Cypriot coffee. After a scenic drive, we were treated to a tasty local brunch meze. We continued to a winery where we sampled several of their wines as we enjoyed the amazing view. We then toured a monastery and ended with a visit to a local Cypriot delight store. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you Christina for a wonderful day!

First an foremost be prepared to get stuck in to an hour or so of squeezing the whey out of fresh halloumi, take some care with this as you will be sampling it later.
The tour is expertly run, our guide Maya was informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Certainly knew her way around the island.
The mid-afternoon brunch is a substantial meal, well served. The vineyard we visited offers stunning views from the veranda and outstanding organic wines. t prices of Euro 5-10 it would be wrong not to take a bottle or 3 away with you.
Good day all round, highly recommended

What an amazing experience, and an absolutely lovely guide called Sally-Ann. We felt like friends on a road trip rather than clients and a company rep. Monastery was absolutely stunning, and the frescoes still intact after hh dress of years. Once you taste Halloumi made traditionally (and partly by your own hand) you'll never go back to supermarket Halloumi without a sigh. The Troodos Mountain villages are beautiful, the whole trip was full of stunning views, friendly people and laughter. I'm not a big wine fan, but the Winery visit was amazing and the wines were top-notch according to the wife and rest of the small group. Having only 7 in the group meant nothing was rushed and we all got to actually talk to each other. 100% recommend taking this trip to everyone.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day out with Myra, who was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. The halloumi making in an artisan kitchen was very interesting and followed by a delicious brunch, which included the cheese we had literally just helped make. Following on we visited a winery for some wine tasting then on to an olive oil producer where we tried a multitude of olive oil products (Olive oil liqueur anyone?). The monastery was next, which had amazing views across the valley to the coast and finished up at a 4th generation owned shop selling their loukoumi, which was also excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone. Again, thank you Myra for a very enjoyable day out.

The whole day was very enjoyable and was definitely worth what we paid. Going through the journey with four other lovely people whom we had not before helped make the day more fun. We covered quite a few miles during the day, going through remote villages and up into the mountains where we experienced beautiful vistas of Cyprus. Each stop off provided us with new knowledge and appreciation of local, traditional Cypriot life too. Each stop off - the monastery, the winery, the 'delight' shop and eateries for the wine tasting provided their own insight with the residents/owners sharing a bit of history and what makes them special. Of course, the highlight was the making and eating of Halloumi especially for my daughter who loves Halloumi with a passion. I do too now, knowing what real Halloumi should taste like and how it should be made. I won't tell you here though (!), you'll have to find out for yourself. Elena our guide added so much extra value to the trip we did not expect by sharing her very personal Cypriot story and inside knowledge of the area, people and history. Thank you, Elena. We still talk about it now. I highly recommend this tour.

We found this to be our highlight of our week in Cyprus. Sally-ann was a thoroughly friendly and enthusiastic guide who took us up to the mountains, then we started on our journey of learning about how to make halloumi cheese, from the milking of the goats all the way to making and then getting to eat our work! The lunch was so delicious and it was great to be in a small group, especially as it meant more time in the beautiful winery with a stunning view. Really recommend!

Elena was our tour guide for the day, and we can certainly see why these tours get 5 stars every time! It’s a full day (9 – 5), and it’s not just about the halloumi making either, there were 4 aspects to the tour; the cheese making, a visit to a monastery, then a winery and finally a Cypriot Delight manufacturer.

At the end of the halloumi making, there’s a brunch which includes the fresh halloumi just made, as well as bread, other cheese, salad, and so on. There was plenty and no one went hungry.

At all the locations you can buy the produce if you wish, but if you don’t want to, there’s certainly no pressure or obligation to do so. Having said that, we came home with a suitcase containing halloumi, biscuits, desert wine from the monastery and sweets – our cases weighed quite a bit more going home than they did coming.

The tours are small, only 7 people on ours, which makes it very personal, unlike large group tours, where the guide just really only stands at the front of a coach and just talks. But because of the small size, this is not like that at all – the whole day is a two-way experience. And again, because it’s a small group, the people on the tour also talk to each other much more than they would otherwise do.

Elena was exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly very proud of Cyprus and its food and drink and did a first-rate job being our guide for the day.

The next time we holiday in Cyprus (which I’m sure will be next year), we will definitely be booking another Cyprus Taste Tour!
