What to Expect
Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavík before driving to Thingvellir National Park where Silfra is located. The drive is approximately one hour. Upon arrival your guide will give you a detailed briefing of the dive site and assist you into your dry suit and setting up the dive equipment. Included in this tour are two dives, each taking about 30-40 minutes with a maximum depth of 18 meters. In between the dives we will take an approximately 1-hour break. Please note that if the temperature drops below 0°C we only do one dive (40-45 minute).
After the tour your guide will drive you back to your accommodation in Reykjavík.
