Overview
Explore Reykjavik at your own pace on this city sightseeing hop-on hop-off tour. With a ticket that’s valid for 24 hours, you decide where to get off the bus and how long to spend at each of the 16 stops, whether it’s the Old Harbor or Harpa Concert Hall. Alternatively, simply stay aboard for the entire loop listening to the audio commentary as it gives context to each site.
Highlights
  • Explore Reykjavik according to your own interests on a hop-on hop-off bus
  • With a 24-hour ticket, you set your own pace
  • Free Wi-Fi on board allows you to share photos and experiences in real time
  • Listen to commentary through the provided headphones
What to Expect
Board the double-decker city sightseeing bus at any of the 16 stops around Reykjavik and show your voucher to the driver. Stay onboard and listen to audio commentary as the bus makes a loop around the city, from Harpa Concert Hall to Hofdi House. Otherwise, jump on and off at the various stops to explore Reykjavik City Hall and the Old Harbor, visit Laugardalur valley’s thermal pools, and learn about the country's history and culture at the National Gallery of Iceland (own expense). Wherever you get off, return transport is a breeze as the buses run regularly from morning through late afternoon. The voucher is valid for 24 hours, so you can spend as long or little time on the bus and at each stop. Take advantage of the bus' free Wi-Fi to upload photos while onboard.
