Constantine (Megas) was an excellent guide. Gave some interesting information and shared the tastes of her home town. Don't eat too much in the morning before you take this tour, there's plenty to eat on this tour. This is a nice relaxed stroll around the markets so most people would manage it easily. Amazing that there are so many markets so close together. Well worth the time spent.

Superb exhibition at the Royal Tomb. All in all a busy day with 2 museums plus the Royal Tomb, and the option to walk 15mins uphill to the site of the Royal Palace. Experienced and knowledgeable guide leads you thru Hellenic history and sets you up for the site visits.

This tour has been probably the highlight of my trip to Thessaloniki this year. The tour allows you to visit the ruins of Pella and Aigai, plus the archeological museums and the Royal tombs of Macedon. It takes around 8 hours. Our guide for the day, Mr Lazarus, was very approachable, had a sense of humor and gave us quite detailed explanations to help us place the findings in the right historical context. The time allowed to see the ruins and museums was adequate for us. I would have liked 10 minutes more in Pella but it was enough to see most of the place. Even if you are not keen on ruins the royal tombs of Macedon are breathtaking. Only comparable to Tutankhamen tomb in Egypt IMO. We had lunch in a nice, simple taverna which was inexpensive and willing to serve quickly. I learnt a lot, and it was a great companion to the visit to the archeological Museum in Thessaloniki .

We really enjoyed our day out to Pellas & Vergina. The guide was really knowledgeable, the museums and sites very impressive and a comfortable and easy journey. We would have liked about 45 minutes more in Vergina for a late lunch, as we didn't have enough time to eat as there was so much to see! I will definitely be back to try some other tours, as the staff are friendly and passionate about their country, and the tours well organised. Great day out.

A must do for visiting this area. The trip was perfectly timed to let you explore all the interesting locations without feeling rushed or bored.

It’s a longish day, well paced. Enough time for a thorough look and a delicious taverna lunch at the end (buy yourself). Very interesting tastes of Greek culture at Dion/Olympus Centre/museums plus stunning countryside &waterfall. Our guide provided well judged insights throughout.

Excellent tour, plenty of food so come with an empty stomach. We were even given a small bag of goodies to take home! My children loved the experience and our guide.

I had an unforgettable experience on the last day of my Greece food tour, thanks to the incredible food and our amazing guide, Elani. Her deep knowledge and patience made the journey so much more enriching, as she answered all our questions with grace and enthusiasm. Wishing her all the best in her future studies! The food itself was exceptional. We began by sampling delicious Greek olives, followed by creamy feta and a cheese similar to gouda. The pastry tastings were a highlight—*tiropita* (a savory cheese pie) and *bougatsa* (a sweet custard pie) were absolutely delicious. We also had the chance to try Greek Turkish delight, paired perfectly with rich, strong Greek coffee. The dips were equally memorable, with classic tzatziki paired with *koulouri* (a traditional Greek bagel) and the smoky eggplant dip, *melitzanosalata*. The dessert selection was divine, featuring *portokalopita* (orange cake), *karidopita* (walnut cake), and a moist coconut cake called *karydopita*. This tour was the perfect way to experience authentic Greek flavors, and with Elani’s expert guidance, it became a truly unforgettable journey into Greek culture and cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Greece!

We enjoyed a lovely day with our terrific guide Eleni on our trip to Pella. We learned all about Alexander the great. Saw some great museums. And learned a lot. Eleni was terrific. Very good. Very informative and sweet. She genuinely enjoyed answering questions and providing us with her knowledge of the region and the history. The bus was air conditioned and had wi-fi. Interesting, unique and relaxing way to see the city. The tour was well-planned and brought in historical context to what we were seeing and tasting.

Apostolos (sp?) was a great tour guide. Him and the driver Nick, were both amazing. Apostolos provided a lot of insight into the deeply interesting history behind Thessaloniki, as well as surrounding areas and Mt Olympus. He ensured the safety of every traveller, and made sure everyone had an enjoyable time. I cannot recommend this tour enough!
