About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- J7505IXrichardb0 contributionsRock climbing adventureWe spent an amazing afternoon climbing and rappelling. The good and clear instructions, as well as the clear guidance gave us the perfect combination of thrill and excitement without ever feeling unsafe. To close the day off by rappelling down the cave with amazing views gave us such joy. We couldn’t get enough and were sad the day was over. Definitely doing this again if we come back!Written 30 October 2024
- Dave W0 contributionsGreat trip for familyGreat self drive tour seeing sights around the north of the island, off roading was great but enjoyed the stops and culture so much more. Excellent trip for my 4 year old, my wife and I. Thanks for a memorable day.Written 26 October 2024
- Departure081222460350 contributionsMust do!Very fun activity. Really good instructors, made sure we felt safe and were very patient with the people who were a bit afraid. Very nice hike to the rapel and the climbing itself is very fun to do. Must do in Rhodes!Written 22 September 2024
- SUZIE M0 contributionsThe guides made this trip simply superb!Initially booked incorrectly by our rep as 4 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 children, because Britain is no longer in the EU we were unable to drive ourselves as they won’t insure you but again it was incorrectly booked for us to drive the vehicle. As we were 4 people who couldn’t drive we needed 2 vehicles which meant 2 drivers/guides. Costas and Stephanos were fantastic and although not expecting this change managed and sorted it immediately, when we got to the pickup point we changed driver from Stephanos to Amir and went in the tour. The guys couldn’t have been better, they made the whole experience in my opinion and were fantastic with our 12 and 8 year old daughters who thought the trip was amazing. Super job guys and would definitely recommend the team. If you’re looking for family fun adventure this is perfect and the local families at the stops really welcoming and attentive. 10/10Written 22 August 2024

- Z7024AYdavidk0 contributionsFun 4x4 tourBrilliant excursion. Picked up from hotel time agreed (initially a couple of issues but more to do with booking company and not the company running the 4x4 tour). Glad of the aircon and felt safe all the way around the route even with some tough driving conditions. Stops adequate for a break. We didn’t have the optional lunch at the vineyard but we had some downtime instead in the hammocks. Dropped back at hotel by following lead car. Tip: if you want your own vehicle (I.e we had family of 3) you can pay for the spare seat otherwise u might be split in different vehicles. Overall cost of tour was good value for money.Written 17 August 2024
- Z7541DNthomasb0 contributionsGreat DAY!A super great day with very nice guides! After we had already been with Caroline nine years ago and it was a perfect day, we decided to book the jeep safari again! Amir picked us up and we had a nice chat. He promised that this day would be even better than nine years ago. And he was right! Amir and Costas made the day something great that you can look back on and look forward to for years to come! Great day and great people! Keep up the good work! I still had photos from back then and there is still the white Jimny convertible from back then. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only has closed Jimnys in the program, a convertible would be a little more fun. But that didn't diminish the fun with Carolin's super troupe!Written 20 July 2024
- olivierdK4102LK0 contributionsTwo thumbs up!Very friendly and professional. Carolyn and Ilia were great and we highly recommend the experience. The short hike to the crag was easy, and there was something for everyone. A fun experience for kids and adults!Written 7 July 2024
- Voyager090829517260 contributionsBeauteous off-road adventureFantastic day! Picked up on time, by friendly guides. Plenty of off-roading mixed with a tour of areas and places you wouldn’t normally see. Sampled local delights and spirits, and had the most amazing tapas lunch at a vineyard, go hungry, there’s plenty!Written 17 June 2024
- lisakJ3699HP0 contributionsWorth seeing, adventurous, absolute recommendationLovely experience with much of places that never be found as a tourist. Unfortunately in the description of the trip stands that you can drive by yourself, but maybe you have to share the car with other members of the trip and change the drivers around. We will recommend!Written 11 June 2024
- KaylaP_120 contributionsLoved every minuteA great afternoon out with the crew. Friendly and encouraging instructors. Really good fun to climb, scramble and rappelle. Our group were all experienced but it’s suitable for anyone as they brief everyone and coach you through anything you’re not sure of in a clear and easy way to understand. Similarly if you’re experienced, (aside from ensuring you listen to all the instruction they have to give as standard) they are happy to be flexible with adjusting actives for your experience (eg they set up a harder top rope for us, let us tie in ourselves etc.) which was fab as it was just like being out climbing with a local guide . Which in effect it is as they developed this area and climbs (unsure how many people are part of developing this area but they’re part of it - if not the main folk. So you couldn’t ask for better people to be out climbing with). The main difference being you obviously don’t do any belaying for insurance reasons- which means more time to take in the views and the amazing area. i had the best time ! efcharistó!Written 7 June 2024
- Cruiser507332349290 contributionsProfessional and fun!Despite my fear of heights, Caroline and Ilias from Rhodes Adventure helped me succeed on both climbing and rappelling. Such an amazing adventure! They get my greatest recommendations! 10/ 5 stars🤩Written 15 May 2024
- TimP18800 contributionsWahooGood experience. Amir the guide was funny. Off roading was great fun. We seemed to miss our swimming stop which was a shame. An idea: put radios or comms into the vehicles so the guides can give information on the areas we’re driving throughWritten 8 May 2024
- Peter B0 contributionsBrilliant experience5 We chose not to self drive so we were chauffeured by Costas with Amir in the lead car. It was an amazing experience. Costas was very friendly and professional. He answered my numerous questions and gave us a great deal of information about Rhodes. All spots were expertly chosen and the off road experiences were fun. Thank you.Written 1 May 2024
- anastasialC7091PG0 contributionsWonderful climbing time with a great teamGreat experience with a cool team! The climbing spot was great - in a shade, with a breathtaking see view. The routs are somewhere between 5 and 8 (top rope) - the team opened for us the routes according to our level. After climbing we did a nice hike up to the spot, from where the rappel took place. The hike in itself was a highlight, but the rappel was even greater - you "levitate" between a see view and a huge cave - unforgettable! The people leading the tour were great, we had a lot of fun on the way! Thanks!Written 5 October 2023

An incredible offroad tour, Ilias and stavros were fantastic hosts and made us smile from the start, we were offered a private transfer to the venue by Stavros a few days in advance for a very reasonable price. You are also given goggles for the ride and you are able to purchase a snood from them, which is a necessity given the copious amounts of dust.
A quick tour around the buggy of how to operate and how to safely use it, it was explained in great detail, so we felt comfortable as soon as we got in it to drive. The whole tour is mesmerising, taking you off the road to some truly incredible locations with panoramic views and some of the best scenery you can get on the island. You stop off at a lovely local farm where you are gifted some water and snacks a toilet stop and have the chance to purchase some local delicacies. The hosts there were super friendly, and it was a really lovely little farm.
The whole tour although you are off road which can seem quite daunting, however it is really exhilarating and super fun for both driver and passenger, and not once are you made to feel unsafe. Ilias was very attentive and told you how and when to change the gears and from 2WD TO 4WD, to ensure maximum safety on the difficult terrains.
A trip well worth the money and well worth the time, I would recommend this buggy trip to anyone who visits the island as it really is incredible.
Thank you to everyone involved in our day with the buggys.

It was great! Very dirty but super fun with amazing views! It was definitely worth it... with normal cars you would never get to places like this. It is definitely recommended to bring an action cam, it would have been nice if you had taken a few photo stops, but that didn't hurt the experience a little.
Thank you!

Very fun and thrilling experience. My boyfriend and I visited Greece for the first time and this was something I would recommend for anyone! I recommend your driver is comfortable of heights since there were a few spots that are high up through the trails. We were able to switch halfway between and stopped at a local market where we could try honey, olives and more. The 2nd half of the ride was not as high up, so it was easier for me to drive. Our guide was very patient and made sure we all were following along with the group!

Can't say enough to say what a cracking experience this was. Absolute cracking day out, the sun, the terrain and the guide was really good, not that we were biased given he's also a fellow Welshman. It was great to get the opportunity to drive on rough tracks as I've always been passengers in vehicles doing similar thing in local motorsport.
It is dusty as anything so do be prepared to get really dirty as anything and make sure to bring a covering so you can breathe, but if not don't worry as you can get a buff for a reasonable price. The bit of alcohol tasting is great, only warning is the final one that we tried did pack quite the punch and will put hairs on your chest.
Might not be good for the shorter drivers as the seats may not move as my other half struggled with reaching the pedals but we managed it though.
Would definitely recommend bringing sun cream as you will be subjected to a lot of sun.
You will not regret this experience whatsoever, cannot stress that enough to anyone who is looking at maybe booking this.

Excellent experience! This was such a fun way to see the natural beauty of Rhodes. Visiting the bee & donkey farm was fun and we bought some unique liqueurs, honeys, and olive oil. You will be completely covered in dust and maybe a little wet, but it's worth it! Also, they arranged to pick us up and drop us off at the cruise port for a very reasonable fee which was appreciated. Do this excursion!

It was a great day out, and the off road sections were a blast. We especially liked the panoramic views of the island along the route and also picked up a jar of local honey when we stopped at a village farm during the trip. Our guide Helios was very knowledgeable, funny and friendly! We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who doesn't mind a getting a bit dirty and the adventure of exploring the more unseen parts of the Island, and the fun of off road driving through the wilderness,we would definitely say to make sure you are wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty though!

So much fun! Out for around 3 hours with a good combination of off road trails through the mountains linked together with road sections. The terrain was great and some sections technical but not overly so. Got to say that there was a permanent grin on my face.
Half way through we stopped at a place where local produce is for sale. Enjoyed the tasters of bread and fresh olive oil (amazing) 😋. Liqueurs and other stuff. Definitely purchased some of these!
The guide was really good and had a few good chats with him.
Would highly recommend this as it was one of the best things to do along with kayaking and scuba.
Thanks.

This experience was amazing and breath taking! I was texted by Stavros a few days prior to ask if we needed pick ups and drop offs to the location. Which was a relief as the location isn’t nearby many taxis. Stavros was early upon collection and very friendly! We were greeted and briefed regarding health and safety etc by Lyas. At the point we arrived, the location is part of a petrol station / coffee shop. There is a toilet and refreshments which you are able to buy. I think that’s how you spell his name. Everyone spoke perfect English too! Which helped. Once we were all comfortable and all paperwork signed we set off. We were off roading shortly after a couple of main roads which took us up mountains etc. The views were amazing! Very bumpy but fun. We stopped off by a small farm type with donkeys / chickens and local foods such as honey / oils etc. And a really cute dog. We then set back on the roads for some more off roading back to the meeting point. One of the other couples had a puncture which was sorted within a couple of minutes. We all got out of our buggy’s to view our surroundings, take photos etc.
Unfortunately I got travel sick half way through and got in a bit of a mess. Lyas was really accommodating and offered me water, replacement face masks and asked if he could do anything to help. He made the best out of a bad situation. I was fine after this and this didn’t ruin my / our experience but I just wanted to put out there how nice the tour guide was about a situation like this happening.
We were told that the buggy’s were only 4 months old and that they were fully fitted with safe seatbelts, comfy seats and roll cage. They are extremely easy to drive, you just pull into gear and press a pedal to go.
The whole experience was amazing and well worth the money. Would deffo recommend to anyone visiting Rhodes to take up this experience.
Thank you Lyas and Stavros for a fantastic day!
