What to Expect
When you have just a day to try to see everything offered on the Greek island of Santorini, a private customized tour is the way to go.

Choose your own departure time to meet up with your private driver-guide at the location of your choice. Depart for a 4-hour or 6-hour customized tour of the volcanic island, which can be tailored to your interests.

The first stop on your private tour is to take in views of the Santorini Caldera and hear commentary from your guide on its formation.

Continue through scenic countryside to the village of Oia, the most photographed location in Santorini. You’ll also visit the village of Imerovigli, situated on a higher cliff with an incredible view.

Make a short stop in Firostefani to see the famous Blue Dome Church, the subject of so many Santorini postcards. Continue to the peak of Prophet Ilias, the island’s highest mountain, standing 1900 feet (567 meter) above sea level.

Head south to admire the Red and Black beaches. Enjoy an optional lunch at a seaside restaurant, such as fresh seafood with a Greek salad, on the beach.

Santorini is also home to its own ancient ruins: the site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan village that was buried by the island’s colossal volcanic eruption. Don't miss the chance to see the incredible, well-preserved remnants of the settlement for yourself.

Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history.

Note that bespoke itineraries and custom additions to the tour are also available. Your tour will conclude when your private driver drops you off at your accommodation, cruise ship port, airport, or any other preferred location.
