My wife and I did 2 tours with Naxos Cultural tours. First we did a cultural tour. With our fantastic and charming guide Georgine(sp?), we went to several beautiful small villages in the hills of Naxos. We ate at small local tavernas and had delicious local food. We learned some of the history of this unique island and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We also did a guided hike of Mt Zas with our guide George. The hike was challenging but George kept us entertained and we loved the spectacular views from the top. Both of these guides were fantastic.

An absolutely wonderful tour. Georgina was witty, kind, and incredibly knowledgable. She helped my mother and I feel very comfortable throughout the tour. She showed us some local spots as well since it was our first night in Naxos. The mythology tour was insightful and truly enjoyable. Thank you Georgina for the incredible experience!!!

Excellent tour of small rural communities in Naxos! Our guide, Elizabeth, was wonderful, warm and welcoming! This tour helps to grow and sustain the nontouristic parts of Naxos. It is well worth your time!

We had a fantastic experience at the Sunset mythology tour with Georgina as our tour guide. Georgina was lively, engaging, and very knowledgeable about Greek mythology, which she was able to blend in with some culture and history facts as she guided us through the city of Chora. Would totally recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in Greek mythology and wants to get a walking tour of a beautiful part of Naxos. Thanks Georgina!

This walking tour was wonderful, in great part to our delightful guide, Georgina. She was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely personable. The tour included Apollo’s temple, Naxos town and the Venetian castle. Georgina was a wealth of information and presented it in an interesting way. Note that there are lots of steps involved on this tour so wear good walking shoes. Highly recommend this tour.

We had 2 private tours, one sunset tour through Naxos town ending at the Portara, and another day tour through some of the villages of Naxos. Both tours were wonderful and informative. Our guide was personable and fun, as was the driver. Truly the best way to learn about the history and culture of this beautiful island. 100% recommend!

We did the private tour of Naxos town, the castle and Apollos portara for sunset. We had a wonderful guide named Georgina that was so sweet, patient and knowledgeable. We also added on a wine and cheese tasting which was worth to learn more about the island and its products. Totally recommend!!

Calming yet undemanding. My personal lack of enjoyment shouldn't discourage you from giving it a try. This excursion suits those seeking a break from the beach or ferry hoppers aiming to glimpse Naxos. Depending on when in summer it is, you might arrive at the temple of Apollo after sunset, inadvertently missing out on the dramatic experience. If your familiarity with Greece is minimal, this is tailored for you. My concern was its one-dimensional approach, which failed to accommodate a varied audience in search of diverse experiences. The “small” tour was 17 people including small children plus the guide. The guide maintained an upbeat demeanor and put in a lot of effort. While it didn't resonate with me, it might very well resonate with you.

A very interesting tour covering a wide range of topics. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable.

I had an amazing time taking the guided mythology tour around the old town of Naxos. Our guide was Georgina, and she was so great and very knowledgable! The tour ended with a beautiful sunset walk up to the Temple of Apollo. I wouldn’t have missed it :)

The full-day Mykonos/ Delos tour in August was a great way to see the islands. You could skip the lines, and having a tour included in the price showed you areas of Mykonos you would have never found. The female tour guide lived on Mykonos, so she could explain how the locals lived. The archeological site of Delos could only be understood with a tour. The female tour guide put together the history of each remaining building. My only complaint was the boat was rocky, and some guests got seasick; they should use a giant ship. Also, the tour guide leaves at the end of the tour to do her own thing. She was leaving the participants to find their way back on their own to the ship. She should at least bring them back close to where the ship is docked, particularly with Mykonos; if she did this, her tips would be larger.

Just loved our tour with Elizabeth, our guide, and Stefanos, our driver. Elizabeth is so incredibly knowledgeable about the island and it’s culture and we thank her so much for showing us lovely villages and sharing her day with us with such enthusiasm. Stefanos also added so much information! Thank you

We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. All four of us (2 parents and 2 college-aged kids) felt it was a high point of our trip. The landscape is so beautiful, and each part of the tour offers a fascinating window into life through the ages in the area. Our guide, Yiota, was warm, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about educating people about this amazing place. And the food at the end was delicious. Our group has varying fitness levels, and somehow it was great for everyone - long and rigorous enough to feel active, but gradual enough that it didn't wear anyone out. Worth every penny and would do it again!
