About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- eurotripper220 contributionsBest in NaxosAbsolutely fantastic day with Anna and Harris on Danae catamaran. Not enough wind to sail so we motored between Naxos and Paros stopping for swims, snacks and an outstanding lunch (moussaka prepared by owner's mother!). Anna and Harris couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating making sure we always had a beverage and happy to share their knowledge about the islands and Greece. They really were outstanding. Boat was perfect for our small group - immaculately clean. Highly recommend!!!Written 9 October 2024
- Trail6705790 contributionsDay CruiseGreat day with great weather. The catamaran was very nice. Ana and Harris were informative, enjoyable, professional and fun! I would recommend this day cruise 100%. Food was delicious-I heard momma made it :)! Drinks were provided too. Just a fabulous time!Written 3 October 2024
- 129gillya0 contributionsNaxos and more!We knew the islands would be amazing to view. The weather was perfect. The water blue and greens we have never seen. What we didn’t expect was the hospitality, knowledge and friendly skippers, Anna and Harris. They made us feel like royalty and family immediately. They made our day! We would highly recommend this company and would request them again and again.Written 3 October 2024
- C8502CQjohnt0 contributionsSeven Days Sailing the Aegean - A Lifetime of Memories and Lifelong FriendsPhenomenal in every aspect. Words cannot describe how incredible this trip was on so many levels, nor can pictures properly capture the incredible views. Our family of five (three kids: 21, 20, 17) were looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience away from the typical tourist packed itineraries. We planned seven days sailing the Aegean (bookended with a few other stops while in Greece), and weren't quite sure what to expect. What we came away with were extraordinarily lifetime adventures, unbelievable sites and dinners, and incredible stories that will be shared amongst our family for the rest of our lives. The two that made this experience so incredible, are our two new lifetime friends, Akis and Harris. Amazingly talented in their sailing, professionalism, and hosting, but also the personalization and attention to detail, and relationship they developed with us over the seven days together. The sailing adventure was absolutely amazing. The new lifelong friendship we've built, is every bit as amazing and important to our family; which now includes Akis and Harris. Our highest recommendation for Naxos Yachting, and our two new pals.Written 16 August 2024
- 37lolae0 contributionsAwesome!!Had such a fantastic day on Rena. We all felt a bit sea sick as it was windy but the two guys onboard couldn’t do enough for us and kept offering us drinks. Food was great w the stop was beautiful. Thanks team!Written 31 July 2024
- Discover354484545650 contributionsAmazing sunset cruise on the Aegean!!!We had a fabulous experience on the private Sunset cruise on the Anassa! It was a highlight of our trip to Naxos, and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer experience. The food was delicious, and the crew was so hospitable. Akis and Nicholas were wonderful and they were so kind to our 13 and 10 year old kids. The vessel was immaculate and had lots of seating and places to relax and enjoy the stunning views. Highly recommend - don’t hesitate to book!!Written 13 July 2024
- 971christyf0 contributionsSo Very Special! My family and I spent 4 days sailing around the Aegean Sea on the Anassa with Akis and Haris. We had the time of our lives!! Our every need and want was meet with big smiles and open hearts. We sailed to several unreachable beaches and some of the smaller islands for one-of-a-kind experiences that we will never forget. The boat was kept in pristine shape, always. Akis and Haris provided us with delicious, fresh food and endless beverages. We explored a hidden beach that glittered and jumped off a cliff that opened up to a water cave. We snorkeled a WWII fighter plane wreck that was cool and eerie. We joined a local celebration and drank raki and sang for hours. Honestly, we had an absolute ball and felt well cared for the entire trip. Even some choppy seas made it more of an adventure. I could gush on and on but to sum it up, it was a special couple of days that will live on in our memories forever. Thanks Akis and Haris! Until next time! Yamas!!Written 8 June 2024
- nondoc20190 contributionsGreat tripThe boat was fabulous, large and clean. A nice lunch prepared by Thomas and Aika(sp). Attentive to your needs, these guys were great shipmates. The water was as blue as the sky on a clear day. Only thing that could be better was the snorkeling equipment as they didn’t have flippers for guests. They gave us their one emergency pair and we made do. Just bring your own.Written 6 June 2024
- megancQ8284CB0 contributionsDay tripWe had the best time doing a full day trip for our honeymoon! The staff was amazing and all day they made sure we had everything we needed! The food and drinks were great. My birthday was the next day so they made a little cake for me which was so thoughtful! They really went above and beyond. The views were amazing! They provided snorkel gear and floats to swim with.Written 4 June 2024

They were informative and provided great recommendations. They were highly motivated to make the day as memorable as possible and even accompanied us for some cliff jumping. - 392eirinid0 contributionsBest thing I ever did.It was an amazing experience with the catamaran. The crew was very friendly and we felt part of a group even if we didn't know each other. We had an great time during the trip. We are greek traditional food. The food was better than my grandmother's food!!! I think this is something everybody should experience to Naxos!Written 9 May 2024
- Alimbocl0 contributionsHighlight of our trip to Naxos and ParosWe booked a private half-day cruise while staying in Paros and this was the highlight of our trip. The catamaran, Steve, is a beautiful boat. The crew of Giannis and Anna were beyond amazing. Their hospitality was remarkable. They treated us and our children like family. We left from Piso Livadi and took a short journey to Kalogeros beach where we swam while anchored. After swimming Giannis and Anna prepared a traditional Greek lunch which we all enjoyed (even the kids). The trip was hugely relaxing and a perfect close to our vacation. I’d highly recommend Naxos Yachting and specifically Giannis and Anna for our catamaran trips.Written 9 October 2023

This was a trip worth booking. We only paid €160 per person as it was a Sunday which seemed like a good price. The boat was very clean and well looked after. We had 2 crew onboard. Both very informative. Food was nice. The service of drinks & coffee seemed a little “find it and help yourself”. The lunch was fantastic! Snorkelling equipment was sub standard for the price we paid. I think they should invest in some decent adult sized masks. We did ask if they had some but we’re told it was because we had beards. I snorkel a lot and know a cheap mask when I see one. Nothing to do with my beard. All in all a great trip & value for money.

Guys, this was the best day ever. If you're after a chilled day at sea with some fun activities thrown in then look no further. Our skipper Janus ad his assistant Anna were incredibly professional, kind, good humoured and knowledgeable. They were the perfect hosts and I wouldn't sail with anyone else. We started the day with tea and coffee on board whilst they gave a safety briefing and outlined the itinerary. Our first stop was to anchor in a bay near the chapel Panagiá Parthena. A beautiful building situated on a rock all by itself. We spent an hour exploring before embarking to the next stop along the coast - cliff jumping! Janus led the way and showed us all how to jump safely from the rocks. There was no pressure for everyone to get involved and I think about half of our group stayed on the boat watching and relaxing, swimming. etc. It was then time for lunch and a delicious traditional greek meal of Moussaka was served with salad. Throughout the day there were always drinks and snacks available. A fruit platter was served after lunch. We had 22 on board so there were leftovers after lunch which Anna kindly offered around for guests to take home. I should also mention that at no point did the boat feel too crowded. Everyone seemed to have plenty of room to move about and relax as they wished. Our final stop was to go snorkelling above a wreckage. Janus gave us all a brief outline of the history of the ship Calyspso which sank there over a 100 years ago in bad weather and we then spent about an hour at anchor exploring, swimming and relaxing. This essentially brought the day to a close and we motored back to the marina arriving about 45 mins later. I would say we boarded at about 9am and returned back at about 4:30pm. It was a fantastic day and I wouldn't hesitate to rebook with these guys again.

Akis and Panos were excellent hosts on our day cruise from Paros to Naxos. There was 7 of us which was very comfortable. We could hang out on the top bed or out front on the two beds or netting. Just outside the cabin is comfortable seating with a table. The toilet was clean and the steps down were not as steep as others we have experienced.
The food was amazing. A light snack of bread with tzatziki or tomato to start out. Later we enjoyed moussaka which was delicious. There was beer, wine, water, and soda available.
They had snorkeling gear and pool noodles to enjoy the Naxos beaches. Akis took us to another beach which had a large rock to climb and jump off of. I was scared. My kids were not. Akis was very encouraging and made it comfortable for me. I was so glad that I did it!
The marina did not have a spot for us to dock at the end of the trip so we needed to take the dingy from the catamaran to the shore. The crew ensured everyone's safety and comfort.
Akis asked us what we were doing for dinner that evening. We mentioned that we were planning to go to Siparos restaurant. He knew the owner and called in a reservation for us. The dinner was incredible. Thank you Akis!!!
We would highly recommend Akis and Panos and the Naxos Yachting Company. We had a wonderful time.

Great way to spend a day in Naxos. Weather was a bit windy so water was choppy and made it harder for boat to stop easily. Crew was great - very solicitous and made everything nice. Fun group of passengers. We did spend a lot of time getting from one spot to another, but no one to blame for that. Would recommend cleaning out the snorkel gear after each use since another passenger took the one I had used and that seemed rather risky in light of Covid issues. Relaxing way to spend the day, just don’t expect lengthy stops or visits to other islands.

We absolutely loved this experience! there was no skimping on the part of the company and the crew, we truly felt like we spent all day on the water and got to jump in at 3 different spots. The food was amazing, it was so fun to meet other people on the trip, and it was the best way to see the waters and get to know the islands! We got lucky enough to see a few dolphins on the way also! Snorkeling gear and pool noodles were provided.

Akis and Anna were great hosts for our group and the other guests. I spent much of my time talking with Akis, the boat captain, while we cruised from one anchor location to another. He shared information about local restaurants, his boating expertise in Naxos, places he had traveled across the globe, and ultimately why he decided to call Naxos home. Lunch was fantastic. Both Anna and Akis spoke English very well which allowed for short history lessons as we traveled from island to island. The water was a bit chilly, but I would recommend traveling to Naxos at the end of May. This excursion was the most fun we had in all of Naxos. I would highly recommend booking with this group for a fun day on the water!

I could not be more disappointed with this trip: Me and my partner booked with them as we were staying in Naxos for several days and wanted to see the Small Cyclades (a group of small but beautiful islands next to Naxos).
On the day of the trip, the captain gave us a safety briefing and then we departed. To our surprise, 1 hour later we were in front of the town of Naoussa (in a different island, Paros), opposite direction from The Small Cyclades.
We asked the captain why we were not going to The Small Cyclades (as advertised, see attached picture), and the only answer he gave us was a passive/aggressive: "Don't you think you can also enjoy this trip?".
No one told us about the route change before the trip, nor before departure during the safety briefing. This was extremely unprofessional. If we had known this in advance, we would have cancelled the trip.
To make things worse, we had already been to Paros the previous year, including a boat trip around the island, (with Captain Ben, by the way. Have a look if you are in Paros, 10/10), so it felt like Groundhog Day.
After a year planning, it was a day off of holiday completely wasted, all because misleading advertisements, procedures and a lack of proper briefing and communications.
The captain knew this, as he offered us a 30% discount for the following day trip as an apology, which basically means we are paying a full ticket to waste one day of holidays each and 70% of a second to get the trip that we had originally paid for.
Apart from this, there was no music on the boat (thankfully, another passenger brought a speaker) and the food and wine were "Mehhh" at best. We tried to make the most of the day, but it was the only bad experience in 10 days travelling around the area.

Dear David,
You have booked an ‘All-Inclusive Catamaran Day Cruise’ where we are visiting the most beautiful, secluded beaches and coves. During the cruise we have stops for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. In one of our stops our guests enjoy on-board delicious traditional lunch, accompanied by cold refreshments, beer & wine. There is no option to choose a route. This activity is weather dependent. We have 5 different routes 1. Iraklia, or 2. Paros, or 3. Schinousa, or 4. Koufonisia or 5. Naxos. The route and stops depend mainly on the weather and are decided the previous day, when we receive an accurate weather report in order to offer a smooth and relaxing cruise to our guests.
We are not surprised to receive your review after 8 months of your cruise and while you claimed/ blackmailed for a refund, because ‘you assumed’, as you mentioned in your email, that ‘a trip around Naxos’, means a trip to Small Cyclades. Why not Paros (the route we followed the day you joined us?). It is our company’s policy, during the morning briefing, our skipper always to inform our guests about the route that will be followed, probably you didn’t pay attention. Your skipper (and owner of the boat) offered a discount in case you’d like to participate in one more cruise, as a goodwill gesture and not as an apology.
So, before you advise our future customers to ‘be careful and read before they book’, I will kindly ask you, one more time, to read the description of our cruises here on TripAdvisor or on our website where you booked this cruise. You should be more careful before you book an activity. I totally understand that you had something else in your mind, but we didn’t do something to mislead you. In our website, where you booked the cruise, it is mentioned: During our Day Cruises we’re visiting the most amazing locations of Northern or Southern Naxos, Paros or Small Cyclades. Since you booked your cruise almost 20 days in advance, instead of making any assumptions regarding the route, you could just send us an email and get all the required information and avoid any misunderstandings and disappointments.
Best regards!

After some initial confusion at the dock, we finally boarded the Rena for an all-inclusive day cruise. Unfortunately, we were two of six people who were not part of a big group of 15. That group took over the boat before we were even allowed to board. Once we found a spot on the boat and got out in the water, everything was fine. Our captains even avoided a huge storm cloud. They were knowledgeable and kept us safe, fed, and entertained. The day was beautiful and relaxing. Expect to be gone from 9 until almost 18:00 (6:00 PM). It truly was a full day on the water. We agreed that this was the absolute highlight of our trip to Greece. The boat and captains deserve 5 stars. The experience was dulled a little by feeling like we were crashing a party. I wish the company would be more aware of situations like that in the future.

We sailed on the Rena, The boat was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to sit or lay back and relax. Food was prepared on board and was plentiful and tasty. Beer and wine were available. We went to Paros and snorkeled in beautiful crystal clear water. Also snorkeled at two beautiful beaches on Naxos. The sea was very calm and it was a beautiful sunny day and it was a wonderful experience sailing across the beautiful waters. The Captain and his first mate were great. Gave a bit of history on some of the sites we could see and made sure everyone was having a good time. serving food and drinks. The whole experience from our booking to the sailing itself was well organized and professional. Note you are not allowed to wear any shoes on the boat. They collected them and gave them back when we returned to port. I would highly recommend taking this trip for a day to get out and experience a day on the water in Naxos.

We took a trip with Anna on boat Danae in September 2023 and had a wonderful time. Anna's passion for sailing was infectious. It really made a difference having a passionate crew! We got to see the Paros Wooden Boat Regatta. Our crew gave us a great spot to watch the regatta and played traditional Greek music. My husband and I felt like we were transported back in time. What an amazing and unique experience!
