Madeira's Cliffs and Valleys Jeep Tour from Funchal
USD 41.17
Overview
Seeing Portugal’s Madeira region can be difficult on your own because of its hard-to-get-to highlights. This Jeep tour to Madeira’s cliffs and valleys charges through the area’s rough landscape, so you can stop by Boca dos Namorados, Jardim da Serra, Cabo Girão, and Câmara de Lobo all in one day. Plus, round-trip transport from Funchal is included for a seamless adventure.
What to Expect
Boca dos Namorados with its wonderful landscapes and Cabo Girão with the amazing glass floor balcony (589 mts).

From Funchal, drive to Boca dos Namorados, where the altitude is nearly 1000 meters. From this fantastic place see the famous Nun’s Valley, and the viewpoint of Eira do Serrado. The next stop is Jardim da Serra, Madeira’s cherries land, which offers you beautiful landscapes.

Then, go to Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and the second highest in the World (589 mts). It offers a spectacular panoramic view over the ocean, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal’s Bay; this viewpoint has been renovated and it is famous for its suspended glass floor balcony. Your tour has its last stop at Câmara de Lobos, a fishing village, which is one of the most traditional places in the island.

Great tour for seeing the island

Really fabulous tour, would highly recommend the 4x4 experience. There are mini bus and coach tours that go to the majority of places but the comfort of the Land Rover alongside the additional places that are visited makes it well worth opting for this. The...More

You stop off at a trout farm , this is where you have the option to catch your lunch. Fishing is not compulsory and you can either have the fish or a pork kebab which was lovely. Before lunch there is a walk but again this... More
