We were recommended Go Surf Lisboa by a friend who lives in Lisbon and were not disappointed. Having no real surfing experience, we booked the 5 day course. Every day we learned something new, starting from the take-off technique and the basics of timing for catching your own waves, to the theory of forecast and the nature of water in motion! Really great choice for surfing lessons. I had lots of communication with them beforehand as I wasn't sure if I wanted to meet them at the beach or get the transfer. They were really helpful and I meet them at the beach, it was really easy to find them.

Booked this a month or so in advance for 16 lads. Manu helped us from start to finish. The experience was brilliant. It's an amazing beach with a lovely bar there too. 100% recommend.

I did several surf sessions and everyone, especially Manu, Philip, and Pedro were super kind and lovely people, and great at teaching!! I would highly recommend them. I only missed out one star because some of the other surf instructors who were new perhaps spent most lessons surfing themselves instead of teaching.

I highly recommend for beginners and also for people who have experience with surfing and want to improve their technique or just want to surf on beautiful beach near to Lisbon. I very glad that I chose GoSurfLisboa for my surfing lessons. Guys are awesome instructors with lot of experience and professional approach and still friendly and fun. Thank you that I could be part of your surfing family at least for few days. See you next year. ;)

This surf school is AWESOME! I've been doing lessons with Gosurf Lisboa for the past 2 months. I've been surfing on and off for the past 4 years (a week here and there) always at a very basic level and really wanted to improve whilst staying in Portugal. And I have! :) Filipe & the team have been great at both explaining the technique and making sure my basics are solid, but have also been amazing at getting me to feel comfortable in the water even on a day with a bigger swell and just feeling confident in my ability to surf. Which shows because I can finally catch my own waves :D Definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn how to surf, or who wants to improve! (plus the guys are very fun to hang out with :)) )

Dear surf school "go surf lisboa", I had no idea and zero expectations for my short trip to Lisabon. I just checked your website and the prices, your instagram page and thought: yes, that is the right school for me. And I was right. Manu, Santiago, Josefa and Felipo, all the great people of your staff that I met zere very nice and caring to me. I learned the surf technique and surfed some waves starting from the "green water". It was a great experience and thank all of you. At the times when I got demotivated you helped me with your calming explications. I am thankful for everything! I loved Lisboa! I would like to visit again and surf again with your school. Namaste <3!

Me and my friend had a great time with Go Surf. The staff was really friendly and good instructors in water and on land. Can really recommend!

It was a fantastic day of surfing. We had two lessons in one day and physically it was difficult, but we enjoyed this time very much!
