I just returned from 9 days in Portugal with 3 of my friends. Van Go Tourism with the help of Margarida & our amazing guide, Simone, made this experience exciting & amazing. The diversity of our experience couldn’t have been richer. We attended festivals, experienced wine tasting, visited Lamego, Lazarim, Porto, Lisbon, Sintra & much more. Simone was like having a wonderful friend with us. She was knowledgeable - it was so apparent she loves what she does - accommodating, thoughtful about all our wishes & very determined to make this the best time for us all. Wonderful tour. Weather didn’t cooperate but we had plenty of time to hit all the sites and our guide Bernardo was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide Simone was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be with. We had the best day. The sites were great but I couldn’t imagine going without a guide. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. We left at 8am and Simone picked us up directly from our hotel. We arrived back around 4. Wear comfortable shoes because it is a lot of walking but absolutely worth it.

Everyone enjoyed the private tour to Sintra with Roca Cape very much and it became a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Nino is true professional, charismatic and absolutely charming, with excellent English. His driving (and parking!:)) skills are phenomenal and he knows all the best points for the pictures! We didn’t feel rushed, yet we were able to see and visit every site. We learned a lot and will definitely recommend Van Go Tourism company to our friends. Last, but not least - Sintra’s Travesseiros are delicious and must try!

This tour exceeded all of our expectations. Our guide, Susana, was brilliant! She explained so much about Portugal’s history and culture - we learned so much while taking in the beautiful sites and experiences. We had the added bonus of a second guide, JP, joining us and he was also lovely. Simone was an excellent tour guide. She is warm, friendly, and had so much knowledge that was able to make our experience have much more depth because of it. My husband’s knees were bothering him and this tour included a lot of walking and she accommodated us throughout the tour. It was a wonderful day exploring Sintra!

Miguel was amazing! Very knowledgeable and professional. We covered the city at a nice pace and he even added in a requested destination. The ride was exceptionally comfortable-Mercedes van and all of his recommendations were perfect.

Miguel was an excellent guide. We loved the history he shared throughout. We highly recommend having this type of smaller tour. The pace is much better.

This was an excellent private tour with João who was very knowledgeable about the history of the castles and towns. He was very organized and efficient on where to park and how to tour the various UNESCO sites including Quinta da Regaleira, and Pena Palace with wonderful photo shots. Highly recommend this tour, it was a wonderful day!

Susana is amazing! She is passionate about the history. She knows almost everything about everything:) For the whole 8 hour trip, she accompanied us as a friend, telling the stories of purtugal, sintra, buldinhgs, food, knights Templar, the kings, moor people ...Can't expect anything better than that.

We had an amazing day with Joao, who was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. We saw the three main sites in Sintra, learned a lot of history and had lunch/time in the town. Highly recommended, especially given how busy it would be in peak season. Having all the tickets covered was also an added bonus / one less headache to dal with.

The Algarve region is spectacular. Our driver (Joao) was great! He was so helpful and polite. The car was spotless, roomy and comfortable. Joao drove up as close as he could to all of the stops so we wouldn’t have to walk too much and he accompanied us to point out interesting things. The boat ride was incredible. We knew this would be a long day, but it was totally worth it. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best private tours we have ever taken! Absolutely worth the price. Susana was such an amazing guide. Her knowledge of the history of Portugal is phenomenal! It didn't take long for us to feel like she was a friend taking us around to the places that she really loves. Her passion for her job was very evident. This is an amazing tour! Van Go Tourism is an incredible company to work with. They are flexible and accommodating and created a magical day for my family of 15 in Sintra! Our tour guide, Susana, was both extremely knowledgeable and so much fun to hang out with! The company was accommodating to the various needs of our group and ages.
