About
Explore more of Portugal by getting out of Lisbon and heading to the Golden Plains, visiting the walled UNESCO-listed town of Évora and an ancient Roman farm in the countryside. This day trip is an entertaining and educational experience where you’ll get the opportunity to see another side of Portugal. Explore centuries-old cathedrals and spend some time in the mysterious Chapel of Bones (Capela dos Ossos). Then, visit the Anta Grande do Zambujeiro (Great Dolmen of Zambujeiro) and wonder at the Neolithic stone circle of Almendres Cromlech.

Wonderful history tour
Sep. 2019
Our guide was spectacular. The sites we saw were interesting and personalized. Raquel allowed time for exploration and was knowledgeable about all aspects. I found each item quite fascinating and there was such diversity!

There were a few stops on this trip, Rui was our guide and extremeely accommodating when i needed to use the restroom on the way to Evora. It was well worth the money and our tour group was very small:
Evora - quaint ancient town and a UNESCO World Heritage site

Anta Grande do Zambujeiro is a dolmen, a collective funerary monument used to bury the dead. basically huge rocks that were somehow moved!

Almendres Cromlech stone circle, a megalithic sites in Portugal

Guided tour to the Chapel of Bones
Oct. 2018 • Family
Raquel was our tour guide for this trip, and she did a phenomenal job. She is very knowledgeable and can adjust the tour for any accommodations, or what we would like to get out of the trip. The tour didn't feel like lets follow along to the next destination, but rather you were visiting a good friend who knew the place very well. Raquel made it an amazing trip with many memorable moments. I personally like to visit a place but not see everything so to have something to look forward to the next time I will visit. The next time I am in Portugal and want to book a tour guide I will definitely book Raquel again.
