Zip through the streets of Lisbon in a 100% electric tuk tuk on a 1-hour, private tour of the city led by a local guide. Explore iconic sites on a route that goes from Restauradores Square to the Praça do Comércio, with stops to explore Lisbon’s religion, history, music, cuisine and culture. Get unforgettable photos of Lisbon’s most scenic places while learning about life in the city. Enjoy the fun, personal experience of a private tour in an open-air vehicle, and opt for a tour that’s both eco-friendly and unique.
What to Expect
Begin your Eco-Tuk tour downtown in Restauradores Square. Settle into your ride, meet your guide, then set off to explore Lisbon’s Old Town. This eastern area was built around the castle and grew outward from there. Old Town is a melting pot of monuments, such as the cathedral and the castle, fusing within the narrow streets of Alfama and Mouraria. The Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Mary Major, or "Lisbon Cathedral," is a must-see since it is the perfect place to show the growth of the city.
Next, the tour then passes through Mouraria, the birthplace of the Portuguese music genre called "Fado." The area, with all of its multicultural aspects, was originally built to confine the Moors that survived the Portuguese occupation after the Christians conquered Lisbon in the 12th century.
Later, your tuk-tuk stops for 10 minutes at the city’s highest viewpoint, Nossa Senhora do Monte. It’s the perfect palce for your storyteller-guide to explain the growth of city over the centuries and how some of it survived the 1755 earthquake. You will also have the chance to taste the famous Portuguese custard cakes, pastel de nata. Then, pass by Alfama, the oldest and most typical neighborhood of the city, as you go to the Praça do Comércio, formerly the main entrance of the city, and one of Europe’s largest and most beautiful squares Your tour concludes at its original starting point.

Great way to see the city and get some inside information

Great time on the tour. We went up and down loads of tiny lanes and streets and stopped off to take in some breathtaking views. Guide was excellent.

Great way to get around

It was a fun time to rent a TukTuk. Lisbon is very hilly and having a person to cart you around made the tour just delightful. I would definitely recommend this type of open-air tour.
