Stroll through Avenida da Liberdade and arrive at the roundabout of Marquess of Pombal Square (Praça do Marquês de Pombal). Capture photos as you experience the ambiance. Belem bus Tour Explore a blend of cultures, archeological sites, and landmark architecture in one of the most emblematic vehicles of Lisbon, the tram. Best way to experience the city, dont miss the Red tram Hills tour
Feb. 2020
We always use hop on hop off buses in every city and we took a 48 hour pass in Lisbon, we were very happy with the tours enabling us to see many party of the city we would have missed, the commentary was excellent an d supplied in many languages.
One of the highlights was the Red Hills tram which was included it really was fabulous much better in my opinion than team 28 because again you have th e headphones and comment which you not get on other trams. The driver again was really friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend using this mode of transport to get the feel off this great city, also included was the Elevator so very good value for miney

Map out the City before taking the tour
Apr. 2019
It’s best that you map out the city, identify areas of interest before taking the hop on hop off; there are different routes and you cannot do it all in one day, 3 at most. It’s also good to walk the city when you can for hidden treasures and better prices on souvenirs, yes wine and port included. The tram is best for going up hills.

Headphones Did Not Work
Nov. 2019
Audio system at many seats appeared to be inoperable for a long time. They were very worn. They either didn't work, could not be viewed and language commentary when one did work kept changing languages. Ticket was good on streetcars, but only streetcars. Not valid on buses or metro as we were told when purchasing tickets.

A Totally Bad Experience--Avoid Red Bus Hop On-Hop Off Tour Company in Lisbon!
Nov. 2019
Had the combo pass for two days on Yellow Bus Tour. On the first bus picked up at Commercial Square many of the earphone jacks did not work. When we were able to change seats and find a jack that did work, when the bus went over bumps, the language changed on the tour tape. In addition, many of the screens in that you plugged your headphones into were unreadable. This problem afflicted most of the screens on units that were on the seats on the top of the bus and exposed to the weather. We changed buses to correct this problem and found this was a common problem across many of the buses.

Raising this issue with the drivers was met with "this is not my problem." It's technical. Asked about a refund, we were told essentially all sales are final. So, no.

There was no management to talk with.

The bus schedules state that they run until 1730h in November. We waited at the Berardo museum stop beginning at 1630h and no yellow bus showed up although over 4 Red Bus tour buses and 2 Grey Line Buses did stop at the museum stop.

We had to take an Uber to get back to the hotel.

This was a mess and you have no recourse with Yellow Bus Tour for any resolution. The equipment sucks and the schedules are uncertain.

We have taken Grey Line before and strongly recommend Grey Line over Red Bus tours in Lisbon.

Buyer beware for Red Bus Tours in Lisbon!

Yellow Bus Tour was Great!!
Oct. 2019
There were four of us travelling from Canada and we absolutely loved this tour. We ended up being very lucky and could catch the first bus right out our airbnb stay at Praca dos Restauradores area. We ended up going north and landed ourselves in Belem where we got onboard the boat affilited with this tour and we got off in Praca do Comercio area. We got a late start on our first date as we had just flown in and put our bags into the airbnb and headed out the door. The next morning we walked to the Santa Justa Lift which is located near our front door as well and included in the price of the tour but the line up was so long we went down to the Praca do Comercio area and caught Tram 28 which was also included in the tour. With Tram 28 you can only catch that tour in two spots in all of Lisbon, at the Praca do Comercio and up at the top of the hill where Castelo de S Jorge is. We ended up going back to the Belem area again on a second bus tour and took the boat back to Praca do Comerco again. It was such a fun 72 hrs on this tour! Highly recommend!

Do not waste your money
Oct. 2019
It’s very simple, do not waste your money and do not waste your time. I know today was quite busy all around Lisbon but paying a lot of money and have to wait for more than 1 hour on 3 different occasions in 1 day that’s ridiculous. I bought the tickets 9am and by 11am I’ve already contacted the company to complain and to be honest they didn’t do anything regarding my concern.

As I said before we had to wait for more than one hour on 3 different bus stops, it’s extremely unorganized.

From 9am to 6pm we only did about 20% of what we planned to do, it’s a complete waste of money.

WiFi doesn’t work.

Still waiting for any kind of oficial answer from the company.

Do not use Yellow Bus
Aug. 2019 • Friends
Do not use Yellow Bus!!! Listen to all the bad reviews.waited 1 hour no bus. We waited at stop 3 which is a popular stop, but no bus. Use the other bus company they had a bus every 10 minutes. We took a tuc tuc instead, which was more expensive for a much shorter trip but personalized. Saw amazing views no bus could ever get to because of the narrow streets. I asked for a refund and just like their bus no one or email has shown up.

Do NOT buy tickets through Trip Advisor/Viatour
I can’t rate the tour, because we never got to take it. We bought tickets through Trip Advisor/Viatour. We tried to use the emailed voucher with three different Yellow Bus drivers, and all of their scanners said the tickets were invalid. We were told to call Yellow Bus, but the operator there said it’s Viatour’s fault and not their problem. We finally went to the kiosk on Praca do Comercio. The people there were very helpful and apologetic. They said this happens about half the time with tickets purchased through Viatour. They could issue our tickets, but luckily, before they did they mentioned that the tickets were for 48 hours, not 72 as stated on TripAdvisor. We were planning to use the Yellow Bus our first and third days - we have a different activity on day 2. So 48 hours didn’t work for us. And after all this hassle, I didn’t want to pay an extra 10 euros for the real 72-hour ticket with Yellow Bus. We wasted so much of our first day on this, we just spent the rest of the day walking around and will do a one-day HOHO on our third day with a different company. You could argue that this isn’t YB’s fault, but they know this is an issue and keep selling tickets through ViaTour. Bottom line - if you are going to take a tour with Yellow Bus, buy your tickets directly from them (and bring cash - the bus drivers don’t accept credit cards). Now I’ll have to see if I can get a refund or dispute the charge with my credit card issuer......
