Disappointing missing the coast
The guide was doing a job and did not seem to enjoy being a tour guide. He spread through the hillside and offered very little concern about making the tour interesting. He gave information about the Peña Palace on the way and let us tour on our own time with a meeting time which was good. However the Cascais part of the tour was horrible. We sped along a beautiful coastline very fast and never did we stop for a photo or to enjoy this unique shoreline with cliffs, rocks, large waves, surfers…. Instead he took us into a crappy business area of the town and dropped us off for 1.5 hours. Absolutely nothing to see or direction in what to see. Very disappointed that what is unique about Cascais is the beautiful coast which is why I signed up.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry that you didn't have the experience you were expecting. Especially after reading all the good reviews we have. Sometimes a guide can have a bad day and not give his/her best. Cascais is always a tricky spot during the tour: when someone complains about the town it's either to say that it was too much time or that it was too less. All our guides know that they have to stop at least for a picture of the coast before Cascais, so not sure what happened on that day. We would love to invite you for another tour with us, so that you could see that what happened on your tour was something out of the normal. Best regards

Not informative
The places we visited were beautiful, but The tour was not informative. The tour guide just gave a short explanation of the places we visited, and dropped us off to explore on our own. I felt like we would get the same experience just taking an Uber.

Thank you for your feedback. We will have to check with the guide that did the tour with you, to see what happened. Our tours are always a mixture of being with the guide, where he/she explains all the history and information of the site being visited, and always with some free time for the client to explore the site on their own. It seems that in your case, it was more of the former. We are very sorry that you didn't had the experience you wanted. We would invite you to join another tour with us, so that you could prove that what happened with you in Sintra was something out of the normal, as you can see in almost every review we have. Best regards

Worth Visiting!
We really enjoyed our trip to Sintra. Instead of visiting Cascais we went to the Quinta de Regaleira and it was great, too!

Amazing but clarify which language you speak!
Oct. 2021
Make sure to contact the tour guide to clarify your preferred language!! We were accidentally placed in the Spanish speaking group by mistake but ended up continuing on the tour anyways. Our tour guide did an amazing job of accommodating us and making the tour as bilingual as possible. The tour itself was amazing and we loved how everything was practically taken care of us--admission, transportation, timing. You stay at each location long enough to look around yourself on top of the provided tour. Definitely would recommend!

Hi Amanda, Thank you for your review. We try our best to have just one language on the tour although sometimes we have two and we're sorry about the confusion in the beginning. Nevertheless we're glad to know that you much enjoy the tour. Cheers

Sintra small group trip
The meeting point was convenient, driver/guide was informative. We liked the small tour, only 8 guests. Visiting Pena Palace and Sintra were the highlights for us. Definitely recommend.

Great tour.
Great experience seeing Cascais, Sinatra, Palace of Pena and the western most point in Europe. The small group was just perfect and the amount of time at each stop was good.

Must do!
We had an amazing tour! The tour guide, Pedro, was very knowledgeable and considerate with everyone in the group. While the weather was not in our favor at the start of the day, it still gave a different feel to the Pena Palace tour. The weather for better as we wrapped up in Sinatra and headed to Cascais, the coast was beautiful!

Amazing day trip from Lisbon.
A day trip to visit Sintra/Pena Palace/Cabo da Roca/Cascais. Due to Covid, Pena Palace wasn’t crowded at all. A short break at Sintra for coffee after Pena Palace. Then visited Cabo da Roca, westernmost spot on the European continent. Great natural beauty. Then off to Cascais, a cozy beach resort town for two hour lunch. Started the day at 8:30 am and came back to Lisbon around 5 pm. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend.
