What most impressed me about this walking tour was the flexibility of the guide. Since in January the weather in Terceira is unpredictable, we waited until the last minute to decide where exactly we would hike. The 2-hour path along the north coast that took us to hidden bays was precisely the right choice. The guide was engaging and kind and I enjoyed the unexpected snack at the end. I highly recommend booking this tour!

My husband and I had the 1/2 day 4x4 tour booked but had a private tour of the island with Antonio. Was a wonderful informative experience. Antonio was outstanding, friendly and taught us so much about the culture and island experiences. Would definitely book another tour with Antonio being our guide.

Our guide, Dora was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us all over the Island and explained everything in detail. I would highly recommend this tour and Dora as the guide.

Carolina Toledo is very charming, bright and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm for her city makes her tour very special. I thoroughly enjoyed her company as well as the tour. She is a wonderful reflection on your tour company.

Carolina was an excellent tour guide and we did enjoy what we saw. She speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable about the island. The reason I gave it 3 stars was for the jeep itself. There were 4 adults in the back of the jeep (2 bench seats facing each other) and that turned out to be very uncomfortable. If you were the people in the front or middle seats, you had a good ride and could see outside. The 4 of us in the back could hardly turn around to look out the windows, not to mention how hard it was to get in and out of the back. It would be ok for kids, just not for 4 adults.

Our driver/guide was Antonio, he was fun, knowledgeable, took us to places known only to locals. We saw stunning views, drove winding roads we shared with goats & saw cows on hilled terraces. We went to natural pools, saw windmills and waterfalls, I would highly recommend this tour.

Four of us took the cooking class with Antonio and Lindsay and it was fantastic!! We learned so much and laughed so hard! Antonio picked us up at our hotel and whisked us to his beautiful property. He provided drinks and delicious appetizers while our food cooked. The meal itself was the best we had on the Island. On the way back he showed us a couple of sites that were true hidden gems. Our day with Antonio was truly a highlight in our trip to the Azores!

Such an amazing tour! We were able to see so many sights on the island in just one day. Antonio made sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fun and interesting tour of the island. Visited places we wouldn’t have normally seen on a conventional coach tour. Excellent value.

The tour with a jeep on the beautiful island, Terceira, was an outstanding experience. Together with the very nice guide Karolinq, we explored different (hidden) gems and made a lot of fun! The guide had an answer for every question we had, so we learned a lot about the interesting culture and got the best views on the island. At noon we enjoyed homemade local food with an incredible panorama. Also, the staff was very generous with the wine and we had the chance to experience the famous moonshine. To conclude, we had a great time and would recommend it to everyone that wants to explore the culture and nature of Terceira with a lot of flexibility, so you can deside together with the guide how you want to spend your day!

My family and I recently enjoyed an incredible fishing tour with Antonio. We caught over a dozen fish, which Antonio cleaned for us. The boat provided a very private and comfortable setting, and the captain took excellent care of us. We didn't even have to bait our hooks unless we wanted to. The views during the journey to and from the fishing spots were awesome. After our fishing excursion, Antonio drove us to the north side of the island, where he prepared a feast with our catch. We enjoyed a delightful spread of appetizers, a main course, and all the drinks we wanted. The dining area was beautiful and added to the overall experience. We are definitely planning to book another trip soon.

This review is about as delayed as our tour was but Antonio was so lovely and accommodating I still wanted to post. We visited Terceira island in April 2023 after being COVID delayed from a planned March 2020 trip. We were visiting for a week and when we were looking into the pre planned tours there was a lot of overlap between the companies. So we reached out to Antonio to see if we could just personalize our tours with him so we didn’t have the overlaps we would have if we booked on our own and it was amazing. Every day he had new adventures planned for us in the 4x4 Land Rovers, we had home made lunches he prepared and his team set up at a scenic location (pictures from one of our picnic locations). I’m not talking sandwiches in a brown bag, I mean different types of stews, grilled meats, sides, appetizers ,drinks the whole thing. After lunch we’d be off to our next spot. Even on our days without him he was making suggestions as to what to do, where to go, how to do it and helped us make arrangements with other groups for water activities. The beautiful hydrangeas you see in Google pictures weren’t bloomed yet in April but it was a much more quiet time to visit in terms of crowds, so we were told. But we’ll definitely be returning one day and when we do Antonio will be the first person we reach out to. He was lively, full of knowledge, and fun to be around. He’ll bend over backwards to make sure you have an amazing time on the island and you can telll how much he loves what he does. You won’t be disappointed!!

My wife and I booked a half day island tour in Antonio’s 4x4 and we are so glad that we did. Antonio was a very competent driver and an excellent guide. We visited places we wouldn’t have seen in our less than stellar rental car. Even though the island is not large there are plenty of great sights and interesting places to visit. We highly recommend booking at least a half day tour. Thank you Antonio!
