I don’t know what I enjoyed more—the wonderful views at every stop we made or the vast knowledge that Daniel shared with us throughout the trip. An incredible experience!

I went on a 4x4 experience in Ponta Delgada as an excursion organised by Ambassador cruise ship Ambition. Mariana was an excellent driver and guide. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone! We were visiting São Miguel with family and Daniel C. was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide. The weather was not in our favor that day, so the views were not as great as they could have been, but this tour was still the highlight of our week. Daniel is incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the Azores. Don't hesitate to book a tour, but make sure you ask for Daniel.

We hired Greenzone for two private tours that allowed us to see most of São Miguel. Our guide Daniel’s passion for the place and his job are clearly evident. He has tremendous knowledge of the island and its special places. We toured in a very rugged vehicle that allowed us to go places where most vehicles can't. Daniel has a very strong knowledge of and comfort in English. He was able to keep us away from other tourists so we could enjoy our solitude in these special places. Daniel was very attentive to our interests and needs. We received full value for what we paid and we highly recommend Greenzone Azores.

This half day trip to the western volcanic region was well worth the time and money. Our guide was well informed about the sights, flora, fauna, and history. We toured in a jeep which allowed for us to travel where most vehicles couldn’t go. Loved the entire experience! We were lucky enough to be able to view several lakes in spite of the fog because the sun came out at just the right time!

Marcia was a wonderful guide! Made us feel comfortable and we could have fun and relax. The perfect combination of providing information and letting us chat and laugh.

Absolutely perfect day with Rickard! We had pretty decent weather and he was quick to switch up the sites when the rain moved in. He was an excellent driver and also told us so much about local Azores life. We not only saw so much, but we learned a ton! He was great to talk to and I loved all the info about the places we were seeing. Highly recommend this tour and try to get Rickard if you can!!

We were picked up at our rental and were given a quick description of the island before departure. Eduardo gave an expert running commentary and a personalized list of recommendations on the short drive to Sete Cidades. The tour in Sete Cidades was just what our group of five was looking for, with a good adventure, much of which a rental car could never do. Eduardo had us get out and explore at a few key spots, and we had a small break in little town of Lagoa Azul. A great overall tour with a great guide!

My sister and I did the 4 hour off the beaten track your. Our guide was Eduardo Pereira. We had an exciting day. The weather was in our favor, and we had very clear views. Eduardo was the absolute best guide. We had a great history lesson and we fast became friends. The views were stunning. Mother nature blessed this island with such beauty! Eduardo made our trip so personable. I highly recommend this tour, and please be sure to ask for Eduardo!! He was born on Sao Miguel and he knows it well!!

We did the half day tour with Eduardo. He is a fabulous guide! We truly went off the beaten path! What an experience! He gave us so much information and history of the area. Having a local guide is the only way to go! If you book this tour, request Eduardo as he does a great tour!
