The winery tour and tasting was fantastic! It was a special vibe, the service level was outstanding from the employees treating us at arrival and to the owner who gave us the tour of the vineyard. A wonderful experience was had by all. The wine was great! So much so we bought 6 bottles. We are looking forward to visiting the winery again!

We really enjoyed our lunch at the Morgado do Quintão. We visited in February so were seated indoors in the very lovely main room. We were able to walk around outside and then eat indoors. We met a nice couple to share lunch with as everyone eats at a communal table. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. The food was traditional portuguese food but you can let them know if you don't eat a particular type of food. It was good to try the local wine with the food. We enjoyed this experience

Wow- just wow!!! We found this winery from a review on Tik Tok and since it was close by we decided to stop and check it out What a special experience!! Ricardo and Carla were the most amazing hosts of this special property! We had an amazing wine tasting and enjoyed both the indoors and outdoors of this beautiful estate. We saw the beautiful sunset skiis and tasted delicious wine and food while the most interesting convo with the hosts. Highly recommend a special experience that is more than “just an average wind tasting”! Thank you for the most memorable experience!! Tracy and Gerry

What a disaster. The owner or management must have been on holidays. The two guys working there seemed disorganized and out to lunch. It was 40 minutes until they provided the first wine. The wines were not only poor but they pour you the cheapest ones. Our host knew basically nothing about wine. Zero info on vineyard and a few nuggets of misinformation. We ran so late he took us on a vineyard walk after dark when we could see nothing and demonstrated zero knowledge. Embarrassing. 42 Euros is the worst value is the Algarve. There saving grace was the other people on our “tour”(there is no tour) who were all lovely and equally mystified by such a crappy experience. The place has potential but avoid this place until they make big changes.

Wonderful afternoon for wine tasting! Beautiful wines and exceptional hosts. Phillips, the owner, had some wonderful recommendations for tasting and Joaquin, the wine maker was so knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning. Highly recommend!!

While staying in Carvoeiro we looked for the closest wine tasting experience and we were giddy with delight that the 10 minute drive ended at this fantastic property. While we tasted inside because of wind, we were not disappointed - our long table of 17 buzzed with enjoyable conversations. The wine was yummy and the charcuterie boards were delicious. Our walk through the vineyard was icing on the cake!

My friend & I had an amazing couple of hours at the vineyard with the adorable Marco! The charcuterie board was amazing & the wine even better! A must if you are visiting the region! Would definitely go again!❤️

Delightful, serene half day spent on the property. Amazing hosts. Wine and food were some of the best we have had. We didn’t make a reservation but stayed for a tasting flight and tapas and ended up spending the entire day. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I were fortunate to be in the Algarve again and stayed at Morgado do Quintao. Our stay there was remarkable in so many ways. It allowed us to slow down the world, take a deep breath and relax. The grounds are spectacular. We had wonderful meals under the oldest tree I've ever seen while the sun was setting. The food and wine were exceptional. Everything about our stay was simply perfect. We will look to make Morgado do Quintao a future destination when we head back to Portugal. Steve Z

Me and my partner went here and it was brilliant, the lovely lady had good knowledge of the wines we was drinking and she showed us around the vineyard. The wine was so tasty and worth every penny. There was a hen party there that made the experience even more fun. I would highly recommend this one.

We booked on for a stag do for 9 people (though this is apparently very unusual for the winery, so don’t be put off, this isn’t a rowdy place at all). We arrived and had a wander about the beautiful grounds, then had a glass of wine and some starters. This was followed by lots of different wines, all delicious, and a good fresh meal. Laura the hostess was absolutely excellent. I think some of our group might be in love with her now. She was able to manage an increasingly enthusiastic group and explained about the vineyard and grapes with enough knowledge for the few amongst our group with expertise. I highly recommend visiting the vineyard, we had a great time.

Incredible. You won't regret going at all. It was absolutely amazing, the wine is like no other and the charcuterie board to go with was perfect. The atmosphere and view is honestly lovely. Such a stunning experience and will look forward to future wine tasting here again. Don't forget to purchase a bottle in the end because you can't get it anywhere else! It's Incredible.

Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had. Beautiful views, incredible food and the long tables meant we could chat to many people from all over the world that came here. The wines themselves were stunning, a variety of favours and the tour given post lunch was so lovely and gave us so much information. The ladies that gave us the lunch pairing and information about the vineyard were very approachable and aided us in choosing a lovely bottle to stay and drink in the vineyard after the lunch had ended. I can only remember one of the ladies names as Candy or Sandy but the other lady was absolutely lovely - a few glasses of wine, the gorgeous views and the beautiful sunshine has caused my memory to leave me slightly. Nonetheless, an absolutely beautiful experience. Me and my partner left with 2 bottles of the Palhete, one drank on the beautiful property and one back at the hotel. We were offered sun cream and hats as we enjoyed the wine by the pool. The service could not be faulted and felt like a genuinely beautiful experience with chickens roaming around and almond trees behind us while we sipped our wine taking in the views. Neither of us have a fault with this vineyard or Farmers Table wine pairing lunch, and would recommend it to anyone (whether you know your wines that well or not - we are definitely not experts) 10/10 recommend and wish all the best to those on the property.

Beautiful surroundings. Amazing tasting and charcuterie . Everyone was so informative, knowledgeable and friendly. So happy that we were able to experience this amazing family run business. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to witness a little bit of Portuguese life.

Our recent wine tasting and lunch experience for a group of 12, comprising 6 adults and 6 children, left us with mixed feelings. While the wines were undoubtedly delightful, the same couldn't be said for the lunch, and the wine tour fell short of our expectations. Let's start with the positive aspects. The wine selection was excellent, offering a diverse range that pleased even the most discerning palates. The ambiance was charming, and the initial enthusiasm was high. However, the same cannot be said for the lunch that followed. Priced at 60 euros per person, the expectations were understandably elevated. Unfortunately, the culinary experience did not match the price tag. The olives were overwhelmingly salty, overpowering any subtle notes they may have had. The pataniscas, a traditional dish, left much to be desired as some were not adequately cooked on the inside, detracting from the overall enjoyment. The inclusion of chicken giblets may have been an adventurous choice, but it failed to resonate with everyone at the table. Perhaps most disappointing was the children's lunch, identical to the adult menu. For the same cost, one would expect a more child-friendly and appealing selection. Regrettably, this wasn't the case, leading to a significant portion of the kids' meals going uneaten. This oversight in catering to the younger members of our group left us questioning the value for money. The wine tour, unfortunately, didn't compensate for the lackluster lunch experience. Lasting a mere 10 minutes, it felt rushed and did not provide the in-depth exploration we anticipated. Given the significance of the wine in the overall package, a more extensive and informative tour would have added considerable value to the entire experience. In conclusion, the wine tasting itself was the highlight of our visit, but the accompanying lunch and wine tour fell short of our expectations, especially considering the substantial price per person. While we appreciated the effort, we left feeling that the overall experience did not justify the cost. Some thoughtful improvements in the culinary offerings and the duration and quality of the wine tour could elevate this experience to match its potential.
