We had a great tour. We started at a winery near the coast. We sampled several wines and learned about the history of the area and the process of wine making. There were options for several kinds of wine. We then went to a different winery about 10-15 minutes away in the mountains so the wines were very different and it was fun to contrast and compare the two places. We then drove about 15 minutes to a cliffside restaurant in the mountains. Lunch included appetizers, wine, mains, and dessert, it was a ton of food and very good. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

This wine tour was such a fantastic experience! We visited two wineries, walked through the vineyards, learned so much about the region and winemaking, and even got to pick fresh oranges right off the trees. The wine tastings were amazing, and we couldn’t resist buying a few bottles to bring home. Lunch was at a charming local restaurant in the mountains where we tried delicious regional dishes—it felt so authentic and cozy. Afterward, we went to the top of a mountain for the most stunning views of the Algarve. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole day fun and easy. For the price, it was incredible value. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Algarve!

We had a lovely time with Fabio visiting the vineyard and tasting the wines. Fabio gave us lots of great information about how the wines are made and grapes are grown. A great experience. He was also able to accommodate a large group of us very well. Thank you Fabio!

I booked this tour for myself and 16 friends. Fabio catered extremely well for such a large group - he sorted out the transport and made sure it was convenient and good value for money which we really appreciated. The wine tour itself was amazing. Fabio has extensive knowledge of wine and the production of wine in the Algarve. I learnt so much from this tour! We then got to try 6 different wines which were all incredible. Fabio was happy to answer any questions we had. Even my friends who don’t usually drink wine enjoyed the tour! Fabio went the extra mile to make this a great experience for us, picking us up right at our villa doorstep and dropping us off! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and want to say a big thank you to Fabio for making it a wonderful experience for our group.

I had an amazing time on my wine tour. I was travelling alone and contacted Fábio directly and he provided a few dates that were available to choose from to join. Ours was a small group of three people in total and we definitely got a personalized experience. The two wine estates we visited were beautiful and the wine was delicious. Fábio was an amazing host, highly recommend!

I couldn’t fault this trip, absolutely recommended. Fábio was an incredible host who made the trip even more special - first the initial email exchanges he put me at ease and was clear in his communication and extremely went out of his way to accommodate our group which slightly larger than normal. His knowledge of wine and the local region was outstanding and he was great company! The trip was excellent value for money and the group has been left with wonderful memories of a fantastic day. A fabulous tour. Fabio was very knowledgeable about the wineries, the wines of the Algarve, and the local food. The scenery at the wineries was lovely and the view from the restaurant at Monchique was breathtaking.

Fabio was a perfect guide. He is so knowledgeable about the Portuguese wine industry. We learned so much about growing grapes and making wine and Tourism in the Portimoa area. Each winery offered a different view of the industry. The wines he chose were considerably better than we had expected from this part of Portugal. It was a great excursion from pickup to drop off.

Great tour by Fabio, providing a comprehensive overview of wine production in general as well as the regional varieties available to sample at the two estates we visited. We were also able to see the grape sorting and production methods up close. Fabio was informative and engaging and it was the perfect end to our holiday in Alvor.

We had a fantastic experience with Fábio! We met him in Portimao and it was a quick ride to the first winery. We have done many wine tours in the past and Fabio did a great job explaining the harvest process and background on Portuguese wines. We did the premium wine at both wineries and tapas at the first winery consisting of meat, cheeses and crackers. The second winery was another short drive at the base of the mountain with very different wines. You get to experience a wide variety of wines all very different. Then we headed up the mountain for a beautiful view but unfortunately was hazy but still beautiful. Dinner at the mountain restaurant was fantastic and felt very local with different cuisine from the seaside towns on the Algarve. My husband is gluten free and Fabio was able to help figure out what on the menu we could have. The portions were huge! Dinner included an app for both of us, wine, some meat and cheese and full entree. I think we could have had dessert as well but we were too full! Overall was a great afternoon and very much enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend Fabio and Algarve Wine Tours!

Fabio was easy to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up on time from our hotel in Portimao. Everything was better than described, wine tastings were very good and the meal at the Luar Da Fora Restaurant was excellent. We did not feel rushed at all and arrived back later than planned to our hotel. All in all an excellent tour
