What a complete waste of 50 euros for a 2 day pass. Absolutely pointless unless you're a fan of roundabouts, views of golf courses or seeing other hotels. Two routes, a Blue route and a Red route included and l can confirm both are a complete waste of time. Hop off and you could wait between 1 or 2 hours before the bus returns. Timetable is a complete joke and we were left to get a taxi back due to the confusion over when the bus makes its final loop. Spend your money on either Uber or Bolt cabs ( cheap as chips and incredibly reliable). Lovely scenery to view but be warned not from the bus. Incredibly, you can compound your disappointment with a 4 day pass, l urge anyone thinking of trying this experience don't waste your valuable time in the beautiful Algarve by induring a very disappointing boring non treat.

We went on the redline which had no interesting stops. We stopped at the marina which was lovely but you’d be better getting a taxi to it and save you wasting 50 euros. The bus driver was friendly but I would not recommend.

Don't use this service, it's extremely poor value. We wanted to go to Vilamoura and walk back to Albufeira and our Jet2 rep persuaded us to buy this tour at €25pp. He said he was not on commission (yeah, right!). On a different day we found out that we could do the same journey for under €6pp on a normal bus, so the tour was a complete ripoff. The cheaper service bus got there much quicker too. The commentary with headphones was not worth it, we took our headphones off as most of the time it was just awful music. The other problem is that there is not a proper timetable, so when you get to a bus stop you could be waiting for up to an hour as you never know what time one will come and they only run once an hour. Its just guesswork. None of this was explained by the rep who sold us the ticket. We told him we were happy to use the service bus but he didn't seem to have any info about those (which leads me to believe he was just trying to sell the tour for commission). Be warned, its a total waste of money.

Despite there no sights to see bar a few bits of sculptural art in the middle of roundabouts this is a pleasant enough jaunt out. We had the foresight to take coats and it absolutely hammered down whilst we were on the upper deck. The water sloshes around up there and if you are at the front under cover will be about 6 inches deep. It is quite amusing, my handbag will never be the same again. Yes you could take an Uber but you d miss the fun of the open top bus. The day ticket at €25 is for 24 hours and you get 2 days out of it. All in a fun activity. And I have been on a double-decker that reverses so much.

Sorry to say this red route bus tour we took today was the most boring event ever, absolute waste of time and energy, saw nothing except hotels, even toured a car park 🤦‍♀️ not worth the petrol money!

We bought a ticket which entitled us to use both the red and the blue lines. The tickets were valid for 24 hours and cost 22 euros each per adult. We bought our tickets from stop number 1 and the lady who sold us them was very helpful. We first went to Vilamoura on the bus and then back into Albufeira, swapped over to the other route and went down to the marina. We did the whole of the blue route and the red route in one day but only got off the bus a few times. If you are planning to get off a lot more, I think you’d need a ticket with a lot more duration. There was commentary available which was quite interesting and informative, however some of the earphone jacks didn’t work so I had to move. Masks were required on the buses, even when you were sat on the open top. Any drivers we encountered were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there is no timetable available, not even at the bus stops. There were some timings on the leaflet so we could roughly work out when the buses would be arriving from that, however it would be far better if timetables were at each stop.

Ok this was more of a tour of the building sites of Portugal than a sightseeing tour. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, it cost us 77 euros and apart from the friendly driver at the start, that was the best thing. We saw more supermarkets than historical sites and there was more talk of Cliff Richard than any other famous Portuguese person! I’d take a taxi to the marina and have a walk about there, but apart from restaurants and boats, not much else to do.

2 lines - red brings you around city and outskirts, nothing of major interest on it blue line brings you to Vilamoura which is nice to see but an Uber will get you there and back quicker. Compared to other European cities this city does not have any major sites to see and visit, I would only do this tour if you were bored and had nothing else to do.

We visited Albufeira in April, for 7 days during the Easter weekend. We thought there would be crowds en mass but this was not the case. Our hotel was a 5 min walk away from the beach and about 20 minutes walk from Old Town so perfectly located. We tried a variety of different restaurants each day from Portuguese to Sushi and were not disappointed. If you don't hire a car it is worth hiring a scooter if it is just the two of you. The people are friendly, food and drink are cheap relative to UK prices. I would certainly reccomend Albufeira as a holiday destination.

For 20 euros per person you get the luxury of a 2 hour trip round numerous areas of albufeira which was a pleasant experience but for me not worth 60 euros for the three of us . And being genuinely honest it was more of an open top bus sunbathing experience. You are each given a set of very cheap earphones to tune into a pretty poor audible description of various locations. My suggestion also would be in taking plenty of water and be well covered up ..hat etc as sitting on the upper top Of the bus can been pretty extreme weather wise .

Excellent price for a two day, two routes pass. We got to visit numerous places along the Algarve coast line, great audio commentary available.

We got this bus as was just a little more than paying for a taxi to marina for another trip so thought we would just combine the 2, there is very little info about the city and can de difficult to hear as the music doesn’t always stop for the info. It is a tour around hotels, we were able to use the pass the next day to visit Vilmoura so was good to do a few bits with the ticket

This is a good trip there are two lines blue and red both last for two hours stories done in all different languages as usual.
