The whole tour was severely lacking. It was not romantic, it was slow and tedious. If we hadn’t paid already and we’re waiting on the boat trip at the end we would have walked off and given up. we were told it was an English language tour but on multiple occasions the tour guide kept speaking to us in French even though we kept reminding him we were English. To be fair we did have a French couple with us too and even they kept reminding him we were English! Do not do this tour. Save your money and time and instead go straight for the boat trip, it tells you the same things and is much much nicer at a fraction of the cost. 30 minutes boat tour compared to what ended up being 3.5 hours walking tour due to bad weather.

Fantastic tour of Bruges, we got to see a lot of sites that we wouldn’t have done and the tour guide was very informative! We would 100% recommend it! We will be returning next Christmas as Bruges is amazing at this time of year.

We met up with Ivan at the designated time. Our three hour tour ended up being nearly 4 1/2 hours and Ivan was still prepared to continue (it was us that were tired). His passion for the city and it's history was apparent. Tour went through the usual places but also took to lesser travelled spots to find photo ops and share some history. Ivan also suggested some shot composition ideas that I had missed. Thoroughly enjoyable way to spend our first day in Bruges.

We were 3 couples on this tour. We all speak different languages with English our second language. One couple was from France. The tour guide spoke French for 80% of the time leaving four people just standing around. He did tried to repeat in English, but that slowed down the tour. I strongly believe that the tour should have been presented in English. His wife carried a file and showed photo's from certain points but these photographs were definitely taken at a different time of day or a few years back as for instance a tree in front of a church was now much taller and covered most of the church. Accept for this, there were almost no photographic tips. What was good about this tour was that it was off the beaten track. All and all just to slow!

We did this tour in September and found it very informative. Being shown round by a local guide, with an eye for a good photo opportunity meant that whilst finding out quirky, informative details, you could take some beautiful photos. Our son who is autistic really enjoyed the time taken to help him get some photos using techniques he wouldn't otherwise have done. As the guide knows the area so well it is tailored to your individual interests, which is an advantage over doing a standard historical tour with a large group of visitors , or doing the Horse drawn carriage ride (very expensive for such a short time ) or Boat trip in isolation.

What a delightful way to spend an afternoon in Bruges! Ivan our guide was professional, friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the city. He shared interesting anecdotes and tips not found in the guide books. If you have an afternoon in Bruges, this is an excellent way to spend your time.

I was a solo traveler in Bruge and this tour made my trip worthwhile! The tour allowed me to take amazing photos that I will have to bring back and show my family as well as a beautiful canal tour. The tour guide offered great insight into the history of each photo site and makes the photos even more special! Highly recommend even if you just have a few hours in Bruge!
