- reneebochart0 contributionsNice tour guide, who was also multilingualThis tour was a great way to explore more of Riga, about which I was not much aware of, thanks to the nice tour guide, who was also multilingual. Riga has a craft brewing scene, which is wonderfully developed. I also tried the local garlic rye bread.Written 31 July 2024
- kirsty_mMelbourne0 contributionsLots of walking but no entry’s to anywhere. The description of this tour is misrepresented online. You do not go into anything. You do not go into a palace (Cecilienhof Palace or the Sanssouci Palace) or where the Potsdam conference took place. The guide points out some of these places, others were not mentioned at all for example ‘Explore a secret town used by the Soviet Secret Service and the ruins of a KGB jail’ did not happen. Our guide was engaged, but was not an amazing historian, and disappointingly, we didn’t learn a lot. It is a lot of walking, over 20,000 steps. We had 45 minutes free time in Potsdam which covers both the lunch break and ‘ Discover the charming city of Potsdam’ and ‘explore the Dutch Quarter’. If you chose to stay on in Potsdam after the tour to visit one of the palaces in Sanssouci Park, you must book a timed entry ticket in advance as there is not much chance of being able to get one when the tour ends.Written 11 July 2024

- bennos8130 contributionsNot a ghostly tales tour and language barrierSadly false advertising. Practically no mentioning of any ghosts of myth let alone stories or tales. Additionally the English of the guide was hard to understand so couldn’t always follow. For over 200$ paid for our group sadly one of the least interesting tours ever. Even the standard stuff about history can be told much more captivating, but if there is a language barrier under stable. Just don’t sell English tours then especially not for this title. Any extra effort like the guide putting on themed outfit or picking a spot to tell his stories that matches the theme like a dark alleyway is something that I was told after i would need to pay 300$ or more in Vilnius. Just skip this oneWritten 9 June 2024

- Robyn H0 contributionsBrussels at its BestConor was our guide on this tour and he provided a comprehensive overview of what Brussels has to offer the tourist. It was a lovely sunny day and we saw the city at its best. He offered information about the history of the city and the interesting places to visit. It was certainly two hours well spent as we covered a lot of ground in that time. I would highly recommend Ambassador tours. Look out for the yellow umbrellas in the grand square.Written 2 June 2023
- 619jeffry0 contributionsLegends of Melbourne, a truly marvelous cityMelbourne is a picturesque city, with many impressive features dating from the late 19th century, when 'Melbourne was truly marvelous,' enriched by the Great Australian Gold Rush The tour takes in St Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, a marvelous structure built in neo-gothic style. Be sure to note the statues of legendary Irishmen, such as Archbishop Daniel Mannix, one of Australia's most influential churchmen. St Paul's Anglican Cathedral is in the heart of the city. Whereas St Patrick's is built of durable bluestone, St Paul's is built of sandstone. The interior of St Paul's is certainly impressive. Other features include the meticulous Treasury Gardens, which helped earn Victoria the soubriquet "the Garden State." Melburnians are proud of their parks and gardens, which are worth a leisurely exploration.Written 21 February 2023
