Upon coming to this workshop I was greeted by the host of the workshop (Ms.Agathe). While in the workshop we was informed about the history and fun facts of the Belgian waffle. Ms.Agathe was very attentive and informative about everything she did with us!!

We booked this as I'd previously done a chocolate workshop. This was really fun and informative. We all got involved and the waffles we made were delicious.
The only downside was a slow start waiting for other people to arrive. The waffle machine set up was also quite squashed for the number of people, and there weren't quite enough utensils for everyone, which was difficult for some of the excited children.
On the whole we had a great fun experience. Thanks!

Great experience, would highly recommend to all ages! Our host was amazing and we had a very friendly group which made it even better.
They were very generous with the ingredients so we had at least two large waffles each (not that i could finish eating them both haha!). They also had a huge selection of toppings to enjoy.

I loved this experience! Our instructor Paulina was delightful. The waffles were delicious, we made extras to take with us and you get the recipe so you can make Belgium waffles at home. A very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

As someone who loves food, this workshop was the perfect choice for me. The meeting point did feel a little bit of a hike from the actual location, but it was really cool to be able to learn about the history of the waffle shops we passed as well as a little bit about the city. Once there, you get placed in groups of 3-4 to better utilize the limited amount of equipment and ingredients without having to worry about ensuring that you get to do what you paid to do. The waffle making process is relatively quick so most of the time was spent eating numerous waffles covered with the abundance of toppings offered to us. If anyone is on the fence about doing this, I would definitely recommend it.

To first state the obvious, it was a blast learning how to create the famous Belgian waffles that I had been eating at shops all around Belgium for the five days before the workshop. But in addition to merely making the waffles, the way that this workshop was designed made it very easy to meet new people. There were five work stations and 30 or so of us, so we all worked in teams. I was in a group of five and the team factor combined with waffle making and decorating made an already standout experience stand out even more.

We also had an excellent guide, David. He was very talkative and warm on the walk over to the kitchen where the workshop was held and he was super approachable during the workshop itself. He created an environment which made me feel COMPLETELY comfortable asking for help on any part of the waffle making. This of course helped make the main attraction of eating the waffles even better!

The tour started at 2:00 and was supposed to end at 3:30. The walking tour to the shop took over 30 minutes and we did not arrive until 2:40. Even though there were nine of us in the tour, there were only three waffle making stations and three waffle irons set up. So, there were not many "hands-on" opportunities for people to make their own waffle. By the time we got to actually cooking the waffles, it was already 3:15, so the last part of making and eating the waffles was quite rushed. The end result was tasty, but not worth the price and overall experience.

Enjoyed the history of the waffles. Waffles were great. Instructor was nice and helpful. Could have been a little quicker in pace when walking and during the waffle process.

We absolutely loved our waffle workshop this weekend! We were only in Brussels for two nights and wanted to pack lots of great activities in. This was definitely one of our highlights and would recommend to anyone who is only in Brussels for a short time. The walking tour was very informative and included lots of great facts and anecdotes about waffles and their history in Belgium and wider Europe. It’s also a great way to see some parts of Brussels that you may not ordinarily walk to. The waffle making itself was really fun and organised and there was plenty to go around! Plenty of toppings and really delicious waffles with a drink and a take home recipe. Our guide was brilliant and really knew her waffle trivia! She was very accommodating and even adapted the recipe for different quantities for people to take home depending on what ingredients we could each get in our home countries. She was also more than happy to recommend some other things for us to do for our last few hours in Brussels! Absolutely fantastic experience... the only reason for 4 stars being the walking tour being quite long (around 45 minutes) and having to join up with other people for the actual waffle making. Other than that it was brilliant and I would still recommend it to anyone - just make sure you have comfortable shoes!
