While they did accommodate us on their tour at the last minute despite it being full, the tour was all in all, very disappointing.
The tour began with a visit to a commercial farm. We spent about 30-40m here and this was a place where you couldn’t go into the flower fields. The flowers weren’t even Tulips. The only tulips here were the small lots that you could order from/buy. The place was also a restaurant and had a shop attached where you could buy estate ware. It was clear that the tour company gets a cut from here since we spent the majority of the tour here instead of in the actual tulip fields.
Of the 4 fields/farms we did visit, only 1 had tulips and wasn’t an impressive field at all. Didn’t have the sprawling tulip rows that you see in pictures. Throughout the visits to the different flower fields, the guides kept nudging us to be quick and we could barely spend more than 5m at any of these fields - the ones we actually wanted to do said tour for in the first place.
After doing this tour, I’d highly recommend renting a bike and doing the trails yourself. You will avoid commercial places and will be able to visit the beautiful farms you see on the way at your own pace instead of being herded through like cattle.

Dear guest. I am so sorry your experience was not what you thought of it. With this tour we cycle along flowerfields. We stop at a Tulipfarm for 20-25 minutes. We don’t earn money overthere.
You don’t mention when you visited the tour. Of course we are depending of the flowers to bloom. This is seasonable. We are never allowed to walk into the flowerfields out of respect for the farmers and we don’t want to spread sickness into the fields.
Fortunately other guests are more than happy with this experience. We hope to see you another time and offer you a great experience.
Best regards
Irene

We loved our tour among the tulip and hyacinth fields in Lisse. Due to a very cold, rainy day, we opted for the Range Rover tour rather than cycling. Joost was a fantastic guide. His knowledge of the area and the tulip industry was remarkable. Thank you for a very memorable day!

Irene and Erwin have a family run business that really takes care of their clients. When I had an issue they went above and beyond to help me out. So kind! Their guides are friendly, local and knowledgeable. They explain everything and add a personal touch. It’s a great way to see the tulip fields and learn about the quaint town of Lisse and the bulb process while supporting an excellent local business.

Irene was so responsive and accommodating when we were trying to book on a very busy day in Lisse! She was so kind and made sure we could join a bike tour. When we arrived Irene was awesome and got us all set up. Our guides, Yvonne and Julia, where also incredible and did a wonderful job with our large group. The bikes were in great shape and we stopped at a few places to see the tulips and hyacinth. They were knowledgable and fun to be with. We loved seeing the town of Lisse and were a short walk to the town afterwards. Highly recommend this tour and company!

Our tour guides Esther, Erwin and Irene were very welcoming. They make sure everyone was safe all the time. We had a good time around the city of Lisse, and to learn about tulips. Absolutely enjoyable and how we wish it could be longer!

Yesterday we enjoyed the flower fields by bike. This is defininately the best way to see most of the beautiful fields. The guide Irene knew where the flowers where the pretiest and told us interesting information about it. Worth repeating! 🤩

Delightful cycling through the Tulip fields with friendly and charming guides Irene and Erwin. We could not stop smiling. We very much appreciated the video and photos of our ride. Thank you, Irene! The cycling is fun and on mostly flat terrain. The bikes are great and easy to ride. We learned a bit about how these small farms create such beautiful tulips, hyacinths and Dahlias. Lisse is a beautiful town. Go back and have lunch after your ride. Absolutely recommend.

Great way to see the tulip fields. There was about 16 people in our tour group. The guides took us through Lisse and through the tulip fields. While Keukenhof Gardens is beautiful. A bike tour through the actual tulip fields was very interesting as well as beautiful and we learned that it isn't about the flowers at all but about the bulbs. Definitely include a bike tour if you go to see the tulips. Actually as a side note, stay in Lisse, Netherlands versus Amsterdam. The experience is so much better because you are right there.
