The trip was amazing, what a great, intimate way to see the city!!! The boat (Ritz) is a beautiful old classic that is in pristine condition. Our guide Jost was very informative and friendly. I will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend adding it to your list of things to do in Amsterdam.

From the first contact to Robertino by eMail it felt like the right decision to book this private tour on the Szar. The response time to email by the Boatboys is fabulous and makes you feel like an appreciated and valued customer. My girlfriends were absolutely taken by the historic boat Szar, food and canal panorama. Like in the movies. All in all an experience that you will never forget. Great as a finishing polish to an Amsterdam city trip. We were accompanied by captain Scott who could have been chosen specifically for our group of four. He was easy to talk to, always hit the right sense of humour and made us feel utterly comfortable, he just blended in. His knowledge of the city is great and he managed the tour including food pickup and bathroom stop professionally.

The dinner cruise was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. The food was excellent and our captain was amazing - very knowledgeable on Amsterdam history, great sense of humor, made you feel comfortable and never felt rushed. It was great to have the private boat experience instead of the large packed tourist vessels.

We had an hour canal cruise on a Private Boat Delphine. Frederick and Gisella were amazing hosts/boat operators. They were very informative, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Boatboays Boat company was amazing their communicated with me was excellent ,we took the night tour and saw all the lights come on ,its was such a highlight on top of it we had a very passionate and informative young caption by the name of nichol.The whole experience was outstanding and not to be missed .

Great experience on this very nice and sleek wood boat (with electric propulsion). Super good guide, a wealth of knowledge (and history graduate) and very nice with us. Dinner (ordered at vanderkaarte) above our (low) expectations : this was good actually. Just the wine served on board was quite average. Overall a great experience that will remain in our memory. We had booked the private boat tour as a family (four of us). The tour started right on time. We enjoyed a great tour during which we learned many interesting details about Amsterdam - current and past. The boat was very clean, we were sat very comfortably, in short, everything was perfect. We can recommend it without reservation.

My girlfriend and I had a private boat tour on the boat 'Tzar' with Robertino. I had already been in contact with Robertino and planned my marriage proposal on the boat. My girlfriend was incredibly happy, and the boat was beautiful both inside and out. The atmosphere on the boat was dreamy. Captain Robertino accompanied us on the boat ride and told us a lot about Amsterdam and the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable with him. The marriage proposal at the beautiful Mageren Brug (which lights up beautifully in the evening after sunset) was a success. The view in the evening from the boat was incredibly beautiful, with the bridges lighting up, and the interior of the boat was super cozy. All in all, this boat tour was truly perfect from start to finish! The next day, we were able to visit a houseboat museum for free, which was also very impressive! Thank you for everything! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of experiencing a private canal tour with Amsterdam Private Boat, and it was simply fantastic! Instead of cramming onto crowded tourist boats, the company offered beautiful, old yet modernized boats for rent. I surprised my girlfriend with an evening boat ride at sunset, and even proposed to her near the seven bridges. Our captain, Nickel, was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable about the city's history and the canals. I almost felt bad for stealing the spotlight from him! When we're back in Amsterdam, which will naturally happen now after the engagement, we'll definitely book another tour with Nickel to fully enjoy the guided canal experience.

This was such a lovely birthday gift for my partner. It’s a beautiful boat. The tour guides were accommodating, fun, and great story tellers. They’re vegan friendly and the vegan cake they got us from a local bakery was absolutely amazing. We took the 10pm night tour and it was so nice to have the canals all to ourselves. I’d go again and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet, romantic evening.

Highly recommend this private boat tour. The service was impecable from the moment I asked for information, through to the booking process and more importantly on the day of my engagement. They helped me to make it perfect and I'm grateful for the care and dedication. We used them as a private boat for two (gay couple) but if I go back to AMS I would no doubt book it for a group and include food.
