    What to Expect
Start from Amsterdam's city center, and visit the famous village of Zaanse Schans with your local guide. Enjoy a guided tour of this unique little town with its traditional crafts, typical Green wooden houses and of the majestic windmills of course.

Visit a clog maker and see how the traditional Dutch wooden shoe is being made as well as a cheese farm and traditional crafts. Last but not least, you will also visit an industrial windmill (entrance fee included in your ticket). Experience the power of those windmills, which are fine little factories on its own.

Enjoy spending a half-day outside of Amsterdam to see Holland's countryside. At the end of your Zaanse Schans tour, your guide will bring you back to Amsterdam.

Superb tour.. Very Friendly staff . Gives all the details .. The tour is very-very well designed and all the stops are nicely integrated into the storyline. We've received a comprehensive description of the city's history, presented in an entertaining and easy-to-follow format.

This please felt like windmill Disneyland. The windmills that are located here, as well as the other buildings, have all been moved to this site. Likely because of the proximity to the city as well as the accessibility using mass transportation on a week and it was a complete

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry your expectaitions of our tour where not fully met. As the village Zaanse Schans we visit on this tour is open to everyone all the time, we unfortunately cannot control the amount of people here and there are some days through the year when it is very busy. However, we do use another entrance than the big tour bus groups, navigate through quiter parts of the village with our smaller sized groups (maximum of 16 compared to the 60 people on tour bus groups) to avoid the big crowds as much as possible if it's very busy. For the main attractions like the wooden shoe workshop, the cheese farm and the windmills, there are no other ways to get there as everybody else here. We do offer guests the possibility to explore the village on their own but it would be possible that they miss out on the demonstrations at the wooden shoe workshop and the explanations at the cheese farm and the windmill the tour group with the guide will get.

This was a great trip and the perfect amount of time. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Being on the tour allowed us access to demonstrations without having to wait around and the place was crowded, Happen to be an absolutely beautiful day but would
