Overview
Go beyond Amsterdam with a half-day tour of two important Dutch cities: Delft and The Hague. Admire the Netherlands’ famous Delft blue-and-white pottery on a tour of the Royal Delft, followed by free time to explore Delft's historic city center. Then take a sightseeing tour of The Hague by coach, the seat of the Dutch Parliament, whose sights include the Parliament buildings, Noordeinde Palace and the Peace Palace, home to the International Court of Justice. Marvel at the miniature city of Madurodam. Your multilingual guide will provide insightful commentary throughout the afternoon.
Highlights
  • Visit three top-rated Netherlands attractions in one afternoon
  • Entrance to Madurodam Miniature Park and Royal Delft Factory included
  • Hassle-free round-trip transport from Amsterdam
  • Ideal for first-time visitors to the Netherlands or those short on time
What to Expect
Travel from Amsterdam by air-conditioned coach to Delft, where Delft pottery is made. On arrival, learn more about the distinctive blue-and-white pottery during a visit to the Royal Delft factory, and enjoy a half-hour visit to the city itself. Stroll the streets and admire landmarks such as the Eastern Gate (Oostpoort), Weigh House (Waag), Old Church (Oude Kerk), and New Church (Nieuwe Kerk). Back on the bus, continue to The Hague to see the political center of the Netherlands. On a guided tour, spot sights such as the waterfront parliament building (Binnenhof), Peace Palace, Tower of Rutte, and Noordeinde Palace. Finally, experience the Netherlands’ most memorable landmarks in one place at Madurodam Miniature Park. The tiny replicas are incredibly detailed—look for landmarks such as Rijksmuseum and Binnehof, stroll around the Port of Rotterdam and canals of Amsterdam, and see Dutch icons including windmills, tulip fields, and cheese markets. Your tour ends back in Amsterdam.

The tour left late so by the time we got to Delft’s town center shops were closing. Would have preferred to see The Hague and Madurodam in daylight instead of at night. Loved our guide and the bus driver!

Started about 30 minutes late waiting for a small group to join us, no apology. Interesting tour but not much time to explore in much detail. I found visit to Delft factory most interesting. A bit of a trek to and fro from Delft town centre probably due to parking issues. My

Delft was a place I particularly wanted to visit on our trip to Netherlands. I was disappointed far a start that our guide in the Delft factory didn’t seem to worry about the fact that he only had a couple of people in the group with him he just continued his talk, as we were

Lots of fun for the mature and young at heart. Loved learning the process of making Delph crockery. My husband could have stayed at the miniature Holland village all day.
