My family loved the tour around the cathedral and especially the terraces! Our small group was the only one with a special access, we felt privileged to be there with a guide who explained every detail. The view was terrific from every side of the cathedral’s roof and we enjoyed every minute! We highly recommend walks in Europe and this tour! 5 stars aren’t enough.

We found this amazing tour provided by Walks in Europe via GetYourGuide app -- an amazing and exceptionally helpful app and website -- and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that our group of 3 were the only ones booked. We had our guide Chiara all to ourselves and due to our accidental good fortune to book at tour for 14:00 we wound up having the Duomo almost all to ourselves. Chiara is smart, business-like, professional, and full of incredibly helpful information that made our visit so much more valuable than had we gone alone or relied on the pre-recorded audio guides. Chiara started us in the Museum which wound up being helpful for context and background -- so when we made our way to the Basilica and then the Duomo itself it was more meaningful. Our tour was timed such (again, this was an accident on our part but a terrific one) that when we wrapped up in Duomo, there were perhaps only 5-6 tourists left plus a few security staff. We climbed the bell tower afterward and yes it's a bunch of stairs but it's worth it so long as it's not raining or fogged in. We made an important discovery. If you happen to be at the resting point (there are 3-4 along the way, basically a way-station platform to break up the climb) that is directly below the bell, this is a functioning bell tower! To hear the bell from a distance of only a few meters and within the confines of a stone tower is incredibly loud. Made for one interesting iPhone video and my ears were ringing for a while. Anyway, thank you Chiara, we appreciated our time with you and thank you for making our final tour in Italy such a pleasure. Oh, one more thought, we also by accident arrived at the top of the bell tower just at sunset. If you can manage the timing, you'll be glad you did. The way the sun illuminated the city for those twenty glorious minutes was amazing.

Chiara was a brilliant guide. Super informative and went through all the details of the statue of David and the other Michelangelo works in the Academia. The dome tour was great, the rain held off and the stairs up and down were not too bad. The inner dome from the balcony half way up is incredible. The ticket is good for three days so seeing the Baptismal and Cathedral as well on the same ticket.

Our tour guide explained the history Florence, the Medici and important builders of the Duomo, the Dome, Bell Tower and Baptistry. It was an enjoyable tour.

We had a wonderful experience on this very full morning of seeing as much as we could. Chiara was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the art and history of this region

The climb of the Duomo was a great experience but we could have easily done it on our own- as it was the guide just dropped us at the door. We have done many tours and part of the success of the guide is to weave a bit of a story into what your looking at. This guide practically put me to sleep. The sites themselves are breathtakingly beautiful but the tour guide just told a lot of Radom facts but none of it really came together to make it interesting.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. She made the most of our time. We toured the museum, then the Dome, the Baptistery and the Bell Tower. The stairs to the Dome and the Bell Tower are a lot, but we thought it was worth it.

Guilia was an incredible guide. Her knowledge and insight made this trip spectacular. We could not have asked for more on our amazing day in Siena. We can’t wait to return.

Not the least expensive choice, but definitely the Best. The Small group experience with the wonderful, accommodating, and knowledgeable guide Giada made this a landmark and memorable experience.

What a beautiful city. Our guide Elio did a great job explaining the city layout. The cathedral was amazing and Elio helped point out and explain all the important artwork.

Our guide Julia was fantastic. She explained the history and was adaptable to the group. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent small group experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. She was also very considerate. There was a couple, and the gentleman walked with a cane. She paced the tour and kept them included. The walk through Sienna was very interesting. The cathedral was beautiful. It was worth the extra time to see the museum and crypt.

Wonderful tour with a fantastic guide. It felt like she knew each inch of the Cathedral and Baptistry. She was so knowledgeable and took pains to point out the intricacies that a solo visitor might not notice by themselves. Cannot recommend it enough.

Our guide, whose name was Leonora or something like that, was excellent! Very knowledgeable on the history of Florence and she was able to explain it in a way to be able to bring it all together so to speak. Friendly, funny and just pleasant to be around. In case I didn’t get her name correct, she is a short, long haired brunette , young (late 20’s approx) very bubbly personality.
