    Impressive
After a lot of driving around - the entry points are poorly signed - we finally found Entrance 1, parked, and bought crickets here (although you can do the same on the western side at Entrance 5 as the park is divided in two). The restored Temples and other ruins are well with looking at. Guided tours are available however there is more than adequate signage (only in Italian and English) to get you around.

    A great experience all round
Stunning palace/museum. Great collection of art from Brueghel to Caracciolo/Batistello well hung and presented and the rooms themselves like the ballroom are extraordinary. The view over Naples from the promenade of the grounds is breathtaking. Would advise taking a taxi up there as it is quite a walk.

    Amazing History, Amazing Site
This was really fun to explore! My husband and I are both history buffs, and the Castel Sant’Angelo has an amazing spread of history. Amazing views at the top! We both highly recommend a visit.

    This is a scam company!
This is a scam company! They canceled my 4 tickets to vatican museum 5 days before. They said refund takes 8-10 weeks (that is obviously a joke). Stay far away from this company if you don't want to loose your money. It is already +8 months without refund. After my last reminder they sent to me some automatic refund information (6 weeks ago), but no refund was actually made. They are not answering to my email anymore. Their Google opinions are 2.8/5 and most of them are negative!

    Interesting museum about glass
Interesting museum about the history of glass featuring the works of various artists. We spent 1h30 mins there and managed to comfortably see all the rooms except the last one, as they closed it early (at least 15 minutes before the museum closing time). However, the staff was kind enough to reopen it right after they turned off all the lights to have a quick look around. It turned out to be one of our favourite rooms with the focus on recycling glass. The only thing to note here is that the first and last rooms were both parts of the temporary exhibition around recycled glass, but we didn’t see any signage linking the two and suggesting we see them together.

Weekend in Italy will not refund my money
I ordered tickets for the Monreale Cloister in Sicily through Weekend in Italy. My account was charged and I received an email indicating I would get a confirmation. The day before we were scheduled to go I received this email: Good morning, Given the great demand for the date you have booked and considering that the bookable availability changes very quickly, we have tried so far but unfortunately it was not possible to confirm your visit at the indicated time. In order to avoid distorting your itinerary our order will be TOTALLY REFUNDED to your credit card We apologize for the inconvenience and for the short notice. best regards, maria I understand that tickets were not available and made other plans. However, I deserve an immediate refund. I have sent numerous email messages, none of which have been acknowledged, and I have not yet received a refund.

    AVOID THIS COMPANY
The day before we were to take this tour, I received an email cancelling us. The tickets had been reserved and paid for well in advance and since this is a very popular attraction, this cancellation left us scrambling to get into the museum. I spent an hour trying to find alternative tickets for the only day we had for this activity with no luck. We had to change other plans and arrive at the museum when it opened to try our luck. I have never had an activity cancelled the day before and it makes me wonder about such an unprofessional action. My advice would be to steer away from this company - there are far more reputable operations to use.

    Horrible! No entry!
The company sent us our 'tickets' the day before our visit, complete with code for scanning. At the Academia Gallery, we were denied entry with these scans ! Come to find out the tour company had 'contacted' me overnight that they could not secure tickets even after I already booked them over three months in advance. Stay away! Was promised a refund but had to contact my bank to get my money back.

Tickets Canceled due to "Great Demand"
We booked our tickets for the Accademia in May for our one day in Florence on October 4th. The day before our reservation we received an email canceling our reservation due to "great demand for the date". Although we received a refund for our tickets, we were very disappointed as our visit had been confirmed at the time we purchased the tickets.

View From the Top is worth all the steps
We booked the tickets in advance of going ,but did so on line and direct with the facility which was cheaper and allows you to skip any clues Anyway to the castle itself ‘ASTOUNDING’ is an understatement Having walked around the base of the castle which is amazing in itself .Off we trotted to the inside gradually working our way to the top ,the intervals were again amazing ,but when we got to the top what a view over Rome absolutely astounding and although we didn’t use it,there is a cafe built into one side of the top floor The internal rooms and decorations are truly a site to be hold Will def visit again next time we are in Rome

Avoid booking this tour. We booked 8 weeks in advance for an 11.30am ticket on 20th July. The ticket was not issued until 24 hours before the tour and the time we had requested was not given to us - it was hours later which was then too late for us to cancel or use as our tour bus was morning visit only. Company were horrendous when this was challenged and refused any refund. AVOID!!!!

good morning we are sorry for the inconvenience but, but remember that the site guarantees the DATE, while the confirmed time is the closest to that indicated by the customer. This means that any previous hours were SOLD OUT.

Wow this did not disappoint and totally perplexed as to how it stays up. Get the ticket far all areas at €27 each this will get you into each of the places of worship and museums. Be aware though that if you go in the Basillica ladies have to have shoulders covered. No vests or strappy tops.
The tower is well worth the climb for the way it messes with your mind & balance & of course the view at the top. Be careful on the steps as they are slippy especially going down. Give yourself plenty of time to put any rucksacks in the designated lockers as you can’t take them up with you.
There are lots of restaurants outside the walls with lovely reasonable food and lots of places to sit and rest as it’s very hot.

What a rubbish service. I booked tickets weeks in advance nothing to suspect that I would not get them . I was travelling on an aeroplane when I received an email to say that it was canceled due to the inability to get tickets for the time I had booked or anywhere near . I had booked train tickets to coincide with the tower climb. Get your act together and be honest in advance %$# I would have booked with someone else your tickets were more expensive than on site already 😡😡😡

good morning, as was written in the email informing you of the cancellation, we preferred not to confirm the requested visit because it would not have been possible to guarantee a time even close to the one you indicated. I remind you that VIATOR guarantees the date of the visit but not the time, which is the first free one closest to what is requested

Booked tickets (5) several months in advance. Was notified 72 hrs prior that the time we had chosen was too popular and operator cancelled. Attended on our own later in the day and was a great experince. Although we did not go inside, this attraction is better viewed from the outside. later in the day was the time to go as it was cooler and less people milling about. We were even able to get walking seating at a nearby ristorante with a great view of the tower.

Don't book through Weekend in Italy. I booked in August, went to Italy end of October. They sent a confirmation email when I booked and cancelled my booking 24hrs before I was due to go to the tower. Was told they couldn't get the ticket and would be best if I just que up when I get to the tower...Brilliant, Thanks for the 1 day notice.

hello, as it was written to you at the time of the full refund, VIATOR guarantees the DATE but not the TIME of the reservation. We try until the last moment to confirm the first free time closest to the request (as indicated on the booking page) but when confirmation is only possible at a very different time, we prefer to refund and leave the visitor free to take the ticket at the entrance, at the time you prefer. This is even more important in Pisa, which requires a specific trip to visit the Tower

Remember to take bags to left luggage office first- included in ticket price. Bags will be kept there for an hour. Turn up just before alloted time in tower queue. Waited for 10 mins or so then went into tower then up. Steps a bit worn and could be slippery so consider footwear. No lift. Two viewing platforms with nice view over Pisa. External tower impressive. Humerous holding up tower photo opportunities !

Seeing and climbing up the Leaning Tower of Pisa was part of my bucket list. Having skip the line tickets made the entire experience AWESOME! Until you see the tower in person you have no idea just how much it leans. The day was a little rainy but we had no hassle and no waiting so we didn’t get too wet. The stair climb to the top wasn’t bad and the views were incredible. We are thrilled to have had this opportunity and I highly recommend it.
Bucket List - check!

No organization at all at the entrance. No signs, and when we had entry time with our prepaid tickets they told us to get in line and wait in the rain. Umbrellas were not allowed in the tower... Nor were bags and handbags, the clerkroom was a mess.
But there is only one leaning tower, so be prepared.

We paid $78 to book 3 entry tickets ahead of time but were told that we would receive an email from Weekend in Italy to print before our appt. We did not receive the email and took the booking document (labeled "Leaning Tower of Pisa Entry Ticket" by tripadvisor) to the ticket counter well before our scheduled time. They could help us. We were turned away, as were another couple who had gone through tripadvisor/Viator. Greatly disappointed. The missing email was delivered after we were in Italy where we certainly were not reading email. This advance ticket process is severely lacking, and we recommend against it.

Reserve ahead, if you can, in order to secure your spot, and make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time, or they don't let you go up. You need to check your bags in their free bag check, as the stairway can be crowded if one's going up and another going down. If you go up or down the stairs quickly, it can give a bit of vertigo, so be careful.
At the top, you get a great view of the Field of Miracles and the actual bells in this leaning bell tower, which ring every fifteen or thirty minutes (can't remember which). Check out the pendulum at the base that shows the degree of leaning of the tower.
We love climbs like this for the enjoyment of the climb and then the view at the top.
If you aren't able to reserve ahead, but are going to be in the area and want to climb, check the ticket office. Sometimes they have a few tickets available yet.
