- Magdalena J0 contributionsFlorence story tellingGreat tour, good story telling & you learn tons about the city as well :)! An entertaining way to explore Florence! From Medici ghosts to Mafia murders in the 90s you dive deep into the dark side..Written 7 January 2025

- 431nevenau0 contributionsGreat Mystery tourIt was a really interesting and relaxing tour with a great storyteller such as Angela! We enjoyed listening to mysterious and less famous stories and legends that introduced us to the everyday life of Florence citizens. Angela was very clear, pleasant, and capable of transferring the mistical atmosphere to all of us! We will recommend this tour to our friends, thank you very much for the great experience! 😊Written 30 December 2024
- Anastasiya M0 contributionsYou need this tourFun even for teens, informative and just keeps you engaged! You need this! This tour is so far from boring, and gives you so many insights on how Florentine people lived, what their passions, struggles and worries were! Our guide was a passionate and knowledgeable Mikael (sorry if I misspelled!), he brings into you so much love towards Florence in his stories! I saw families of 5 people , all dressed up (not families in need, if I may) paying only 10. Really?! I saw many people just listening through this tour and just leaving before the end just not to pay?! Come on, how would you think if you work and nobody pays for it? It's just so unfair. And you personally would not like this either. So is with these guys... They rely on you and your fairness. Please consider paying as much as you want. Try to research, how much one tour is and please tip these guys well, they are so much worth it!!!Written 28 December 2024
- vishalk16110 contributionsDark side of FlorenceAngela was an amazing guide. We did the tour after sunset and surely loved the dark side of Florence and it's history, must do if you are hereWritten 27 December 2024
- mpollo770 contributionsInformative walk and guideGiacomo was a wonderfully knowledgeable and entertaining guide! The sights of major attractions such as the Duomo and Uffizi, which seemed to be around every corner, only added to the charm of Florence's colorful and eerie past. The pace of the walk was easy and the distance covered was very manageable. All in all, a great trip!Written 18 December 2024
- Mohammed A0 contributionsGreat stories!Angela was a great guide and story teller. We loved the tour and i highly recommend you to try it. You won’t find these stories elsewhere. If you visit Florence you have to book this tour!!Written 14 December 2024

- V9442NJphilipv0 contributionsNot Your Typical TourThis was a unique and fun tour, with some really interesting facts I feel we never would have gotten on a typical historical tour. Our guide, Antonio, was a great storyteller and made Florentine history really come to life in an offbeat way that even kept our 14 year old focused.Written 29 November 2024
- Y8595SDjuanjoser0 contributionsNot to be missedHighly recommended. It is an amazing way to discover the more local legends and mysteries of one of the most famous cities in the world. Our tour guide Antonio was very knowledgeable and had a great ability to narrate the stories. Me and my wife went for the tour in one of the rainiest months of the year, and after the first five minutes we had completely forgotten about the rain, just to give an indication of how mesmerizing and intriguing the experience was.Written 24 November 2024

Chiara was a brilliant tour guide, easy to hear (even in the crowded areas), informative (without being too in depth that it felt like a lesson) with some humour along the way.
We had spent over €100 on a tour earlier in the day that ended up being only 35 minutes long and didn’t give us even 1/10th information that Chiara did.
If you want a tour in Florence, this is the one to do.

Couldn’t recommend this tour more. Gabriel was fantastic and showed us everything while adding lots of interesting stories and tales along the way. He was careful to keep us in the shade (as it was a very hot day) and keen to answer any questions. He gave tips too for good spots to eat and drink, and he was a delight from start to finish - even adding an extra half hour on to the end of the tour. Would recommend to anyone :)

The cost, path, clearly spoken English and all references.
Our English guide was Oscar, who spoke very clear English so that everyone could understand perfectly, he answered all the questions with mastery and the path was perfectly thought out so you don't feel tired at any time. Oscar was passionate about everything he was explaining and showed ownership in his speech. So far I've only been touring with tour guides, never with a real local artist and you can clearly see the difference. I didn't see the time pass and I repeated it easily (otherwise).
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the tour that lets you choose how much you can pay, but instead I was easily given a worthy tour at €35~€40 euros.
Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the free walking tour with Angela. In two hours she told us a lot about the history of the city and about the Medicis and answered all our questions competently. It was fun to walk through the city with her - recommend it for anyone who would like to know why Florence is so full of art and great architecture.

This was me and my wife’s first trip to Florence. We had limited knowledge of the city and decided to sign up for the tour. We were initially scheduled for 10 AM but unfortunately missed it. Gabriel was very accommodating and rescheduled us for the evening to at 4:30 PM.
Amanda was out tour guide and was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and exciting despite us drenching in the pouring rain. I would highly recommend this to any tourist who would like to get to know the city in a short period of time.
Thank you!

Great tour for art and architecture lovers - Gabriel has a lot of knowledge about ancient Italien artists and will gladly share some stories about their projects as well as their personal ties with each other. It’s not the typical sightseeing tour if you just want to see Florence, but it rather goes beyond that, giving you small details and insights to remember. Thanks, Gabriel!

The best two hours despite being with tourists 🤣
Sylvia our guide kept her audience attentive by making history and the main characters of the Medici family, as well as key artists, alive.
She gave the best explanation about why the scale is Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do. She sang to illustrate her point with a stunning voice. It was towards the end of the visit, but not even the finale.
We have since followed some of her recommendations and enjoy the in more depth thanks to this tour and our guide.
Did I mention that you pay only if you are content AND you determine the value? Brilliant!

Wow! Hands down one of the best tours I’ve been on. Fabio was EXCELLENT!!! Very professional but still very personable and friendly. Since he’s a native to Florence, this seemed like a seamless tour. On such a hot day, he made sure to stop at areas where there was enough shade for the entire group. He even showed us traditional Tuscan dishes and gave us recommendations of where to dine. The tour ends at the Uffizi Gallery which is PERFECT if you’d like to see famous paintings by Boticelli, Michelangelo, etc. I recommend booking this tour on a Tuesday afternoon so that you can enjoy the Uffizi Gallery without the crowds (Uffizi Gallery is open late hours on Tuesdays). 10/10 hands down! Don’t question it, just book it.

Excellent! A very dynamic tour, with a pleasant walk through the streets of Florence. I recommend taking it upon arrival in the city, so you can later choose which site you want to visit in more detail. Additionally, Janeth, our guide, gave us advice on where to eat delicious and cheap, which helped us during our stay in the city. Janeth was super clear, explanatory, kind, and very nice. She was always attentive to resolving any doubts that arose, and always making sure that we all listened to her well and that no one in the group was missing.

Yesterday we have had a tour from Amanda. Because of covid-19, we were lucky to have a private tour.
She was very enthusiastic and social and the most important part is that she was able to answer literally all our from questions about the city to the details of specific buildings.
At the end of the tour you are completely free to give the guide a tip.

The photos show large groups. Does the tour use audio devices to hear the guide?
Written 12 January 2025
We were a group of about 25 people when I went in July last year. The guide had a microphone and a small speaker but we didn't have any earphones. The guide did a good job pulling the group to the side where it was quiet while explaining to us, so earphones wasn't needed.

Buenas tardes.
¿Hay una forma de contactar con ustedes para reservar la guía de un grupo de estudiantes? Nos han hablado de ustedes y de Silvia, y estaríamos muy interesados en poder concertar la visita de grupo.
Quedamos a las espera.
Gracias.

It looks like your tour enters a lot of museum. Should we purchase in advance a Firenze Card or Firenze Turbocard? Is the tour able to "skip the line"?
Written 20 September 2021
This is a walking tour. It doesn't go inside museums. Try to book in advance entry to the museums you are interested in.

scusate ma non mi è chiaro se il tour c'è anche in italiano, perchè le lingue riportate sono inglese e spagnolo, forse è multilingue?

What time does it start & finish pls?
Also, is the meeting point far from the cruise port?
Thx for your time and opinions!

This is a walking tour of Florence. Florence is not on the coast - it is well over an hour's drive inland from the nearest ports which are Viareggio and Livorno.
Our tour started at 1400 and we met outside a bar across from the San Lorenzo church...
It was a very good tour. We gave the guide €20 tip!
