This Brunello tour was very interesting. Our driver for just the 2 of us--no one else signed up I guess, was intelligent and passionate about the wine in this area. He gave us a very in depth history lesson about the area and the wine there. We appreciated that a lot. Now for the wines. The first stop was excellent. We had a lovely tour of the winery and moved on to the tasting. The wines we tasted were excellent BUT this wine is best with some food. It would have been lovely to have a bit of food to taste with the delicious big reds. A bit of salami, cheese and bread??? I mean we paid $500 for the 2 of us to do this tour. I thought that we could have had a little more to ea there. But the wines were wonderful and we ordered some to ship home. Then we went to the next one--and the last one. This is were we had lunch too. Ok, we were there to drink Brunellos but this winery had sold out of the 2018 Brunellos so we could not taste any! What??? We were given extremely teeny tastes of the 2019--not even released yet because it is too early--albeit by only a couple months but still! The tastings were very small and even with lunch we did not get a glass of wine to drink with our very nice lunch. We were then given some other tastings and a small tasting of one of their neighbors brunellos. HUH??? Very very disappointing. Why did we go there and not to another winery that had some 2018s to taste? Why didn't we get to taste a 2017 or '16? We paid premium prices for this tour--more than I have ever paid before and we have done many around the world--Argentina, Australia, Spain, Portugal, of course in US too--but this felt like a rip off. Our tour ended with an hour in Montecino. We walked around a bit and then went to a wine bar and ordered a glass of wine. We had not had a proper glass all day. We don't drink to get drunk, buzzed, etc. But we expected a glass of wine with lunch--right? We enjoyed parts of it very much and our driver was excellent but come on, let us drink some Brunello. Cannot recommend this tour. It was not a good value for us at all.

Five stars! Highly recommend. We had a lovely day on the Castle and Chianti Tour. Our tour guide, Julia, was fantastic- she was knowledgeable, friendly and made the entire experience so fun. We enjoyed two tastings at two beautiful vineyards, along with a delicious lunch in a small Italian village. By far our favorite experience we had while exploring Italy.

Five stars! We had a great tour with Matteo. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took us to two great wineries that we never could have found on our own. Both wineries produced high quality Chianti. For the second winery on our tour, the owner and winemaker, Misha, actually made us a lunch that was among the best meals we had on our ten day trip through Tuscany (and his wines were wonderful as well). Memorable experience with a quality company and tour guide. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to be close to Florence but far enough away to be in one of the most relaxing places you can imagine. The countryside is just breath taking, the people we met and the restaurants we went to are just about perfect.

This was the perfect trip. The morning was spent truffle hunting, followed by a superb lunch and then visit to a winery. Loved it. Best of all was our guide, Hillary. She was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, truffles, the region, the history and the culture. Being that, she was delightful company. Best day of our trip.

This was an amazing day. Hillary went out of her way to provide us with some fantastic history about Italy and also some great tips for wine. The truffle hunting was interesting and the dog Choco managed to find quite a few. Lunch at the property was divine. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who is even slightly keen.

Hilary is an amazing guide. From the moment she picked us up, we made friends. She made us feel so pampered and taken care of, and shared so much history and facts about Italy, truffles and wine that it made us appreciate the tour so much more. She also made my teen feel involved and made her laugh so much. Our package is the one with wine tasting, and Hilary is the perfect guide because she was a sommelier in Manhattan for many years! Francesca is such an experienced truffle hunter and her truffle hunting dog Choco is the best! So intelligent and so smart and fast; Choco found 4-5 truffles in such short time! And the truffle lunch was amazing, especially the bruschetta and the pasta!💗💗💗.

The Truffle Hunt and Wine Tasting tour was incredible. My wife, 12 year old and 14 year old had an amazing time as Hilary guided us from Florence to San Miniato to Chianti and back to Florence! Hilary picked us up in Florence and drove us out to the San Miniato for the truffle hunt. The trip was about 45 minutes and Hilary told us all about Florence and the surrounding areas as we drove to the mountains. We arrived at the villa where Francesca, the truffle hunter, welcomed us to her home and took us on an hour hike through the woods covered in olive groves and grape vines. Her dog Ciocco, found 4 truffles hidden beneath the ground. We then went back to the villa where we were served a delicious lunch paired with wine. An amazing experience. Hilary then took us to a wonderful winery in Chianti where we had a tasting of not only wine, but olive oil and salumi. Beautiful scenery, excellent food and wine and an unforgettable experience. Hilary then drove us back to Florence to end our day. An amazing cultural experience with a wonderful tour guide who provided us excellent service, kept my teenage/pre-teen kids engaged, and many tips on Tuscan culture. Highly recommend. Be a traveler - not just a tourist.

Hilary was an amazing guide- she was informative, energetic and very knowledgeable! She told interesting stories and her somelier background helped us for the wine portion of the tour The truffle hunt with Francesca and her dog Coco was really amazing and the meal the followed was yum!

Incredible! - Julia was amazing! Truly an incredible once in a lifetime experience! I felt right at home doing this amazing tour. We found some incredibly sized truffles and WOW the flavor was immaculate! Our tour guide Julia was AMAZING! Truly an overall incredible experience and wonderful. We will never forget this wonderful experience and never forget Julia!

Pierpa Olo was our guide for the day. Wonderful, fantastic, interesting, knowledgeable, courteous , etc. Made sure we were well taken care of through the whole tour. The truffle hunt exceeded our expectations. Francesca and Coco, the dog, did a wonderful on the truffle hunt. We found 5 black truffles and 1 white. Lunch was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed. During lunch, not only was the food great but we were treated like part of the family. Both Pierpa and Francesca made sure to keep the conversation flowing and kept us entertained with information about our food, the farm and answered any questions we had. The wine tasting was interesting and informative as well. Nonna did a brief tour but not that in depth (felt kind of rushed through the tour portion). Pierpa did the tasting - again displaying his Wonderful knowledge of wine and history. Highly recommend this tour. Worth it.

One of the best experiences we ever had! Our tour guide Hillary was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic about everything we did. After a great ride and rich knowledge of Hillary we had the first stop. Truffle hunting tour in the country side of Tuscany, and it was an incredible experience. We had the opportunity to hike through the beautiful Tuscan countryside, and then we got to hunt for truffles with the help of trained truffle-hunting dog. After the truffle hunting, we went to an amazing vineyard and had a wine tasting with Hillary. She's an expert in wines and in the last stage of sommelier certification, so we were in good hands. She guided us through the tasting, sharing her knowledge about the different types of wines we tasted and the history behind them. It was a real treat to taste some of the best wines from the region, and we learned a lot from Hillary. Overall, it was a great mix of two tours, and we had an amazing day. The tour was well-organized, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Hillary. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence. Thanks for the amazing time, Hillary!

The vernaccia di San gimignano tour was amazing. Pierpaolo, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and personable. He made sure our experience was top notch all the way. The wines we tasted were delicious and the two wineries we visited were intimate and filled with wine facts. The Tuscan scenery was so beautiful and the time in san gimignano was so cool. I highly recommend this company, Pierpaolo, and the wine!
