Great help
I was a little confused by the ticket pick up, I was looking for a place not a person. They were very nice when I found them and incredibly helpful.

So glad we were able to use this group

Not just David!
This was excellent. I visited the Academia over twenty years ago but only recalled seeing the David statue.

The gallery is far more than that and it seemed to be full of visitors taking photographs - presumably fine art students.

There is a major refurbishment underway but this meant that some of the finest religious paintings were specially displayed. Those from the 14th- 16th Century were beautifully displayed ( and had obviously been well restored) so that there beautiful colours shine out in the artificial lighting.

The original harpsichord and early pianos were also interesting to view.

Scam
Aug. 2021
Total scam. We went on a Sunday and they don't even do skip the line on Sunday so I basically waited in the museum line to be told I have to find the tour I signed up for who have my tickets. When I finally found the "guide" who wasn't easy to find he handed me my tickets and said to get in line, which he basically bought in the line I jut got out of, because they don't do skip the line on Sundays or something to that effect. So I paid triple the price. Lesson learned.

Dear Client, We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. It's very important for us to improve our services. On Saturdays and Sundays, there won't be a general admission line to purchase the tickets line in the weekdays because the museum is allowed visitors just with prior reservations. The ticket which you used to enter the museum was a reserved time entrance ticket. According to the time mentioned on the ticket, Museum allows visitors to enter, and since they are checking the Vaccination cards and the security check usually it takes 10 to 15 minutes. As we have mentioned on the voucher visitors should come to our meeting point to receive the actual tickets to enter the museum. Since you didn't come to the meeting point and went straight to the Museum entrance before you pick the tickets you had to pass through the Vaccination scan + security check twice and we really sorry for that. We have included a small service charge on top of the ticket price and absolutely not twice the price. We are really sorry for the inconvenience that occurred. Management, Visit Europa Today

Extremely expensive!
I know that — during non-pandemic times — the lines are usually long, but that still doesn’t justify charging children 15 Euros a piece when the regular price is 4! And I’m quite sure that children are not supposed to pay (at least that’s what Lonely Planet guide says!) If you have the patience, show up at the gallery line, check how long it will take before booking with these guys!

Not worth that price
There is no sign in front of the entrance where you pick up your tickets. Once you are in the lobby, they will send you the prices again after the inspection. Fortunately, there are friendly staff there who escort you to the agency. But this is followed by another wait, a security check. The first floor is closed and the price should therefore be lower. No novelties in the central part. The greatest value was that there was no usual crowd before David.

Dear James, Thank you for such a wonderful feedback. Unfortunately due to coronavirus Florence is empty now however culture and art will always be the best antidote to fear and they will never stop. David will be waiting for you when you come to visit him next time! All the best, Irina Visit Europa Today

Our guide, Irina Emchenko, was excellent. She provided excellent information about Michelangelo, his creation of the "David" sculpture, and much more. The tour was a rich mix of knowledge about fine art, history, and biography. Brava!

I booked these tickets last minute 2 days before we arrived in Florence. When we arrived at the ticket office, it was a bit of a weird set up. Our booking was for 4pm, we got there 15 mins early and one of the staff advised us to sit and wait for his colleague. After 10 mins a man shows up at the door with what looked to be 2 tickets, he’d walked across the road and purchased. We were then guided to the “skip the line queue,” but honestly the line we were skipping was about 4 people. Maybe this is worth it in high peak seasons, but it certainly wasn’t worth the extra money yesterday.

Dear Sir, Madam, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with us however we regret that you have put only three stars to it. We regret that our office seemed weird to you and we would be happy to know why exactly so that we can improve it and make it more welcoming so that it can inspire more trust. Probably it seemed empty to you as this is a low season for tourism, usually it's full of our welcoming staff and tourists. You write "After 10 mins a man shows up at the door with what looked to be 2 tickets, he’d walked across the road and purchased." It is true that a member of our staff went out to pick up your reserved tickets at the Accademia ticket office. It's a common procedure, we book tickets for you, we get them so that you don't have to stand in a line. It's true that there were not too many people in the general access line, but as I have already mentioned it's a winter season and there are not so many tourists in town these days. However it can still get busy on some particular moments of the day. Of course buying reserved tickets makes much more sense during the spring and summer time and on Christmas and Easter, otherwise the general access line may take up to two hours. Alll the best, Visit Europa Today

Totally worth it!
Our guide Victoria was so friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Definitely worn it to not spend the whole day waiting outside in line and to have someone be able to explain the history behind the statue of David, the artists, and the renaissance time period.

No Fuss Tickets
Jan. 2020
Tickets were easy to purchase and retrieve. The only problem we had was Google & Apple Maps reported the pickup/office address at the other end of the street - this was a Google/Apple map issue and not the tour operator. A phone call to the office confirmed the correct location.

Thank you so much for your glorious review of our service and the Accademia Gallery! We are happy you appreciated the service and the efficient work of the agency that took care of your tickets so that you could have a wonderful experience. It is true sometimes there is a confusion about the numbers on the buildings in Florence: there are red and black numbers. The red numbers refer to shops while the black ones are used for buildings. Google Maps lead to a shop which has a 45 red number and it is on the other end of the street. Unfortunately we cannot help it and we are glad you called us to get the exact location! Enjoy your time in Florence and Italy and we hope to see you again very soon, Visit Europa Today
