Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano Day Trip from Florence Including Lunch
USD 95.06
Overview

Leave the bustle of Florence behind and venture into the Tuscan countryside: on this tour, you’ll see many of the region’s most popular landmarks in the space of a single day. Traveling via a comfortable, air-conditioned bus, you’ll venture to Siena, enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch, explore the medieval town of San Gimignano, and get up close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

What to Expect

This full-day tour begins at the conveniently located Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence. Meet your guide, climb aboard your air-conditioned coach, and set off for the Tuscan countryside.

The first stop on your tour is Siena, which is famous for its medieval–era architecture and which has UNESCO World Heritage status. Follow your guide to the Siena Cathedral, which features a distinctive, black-and-white façade and even more opulent interior.

Next, sit down for a hearty, three-course lunch at a local winery or restaurant. From pasta to bruschetta and beyond, you’ll sample traditional Tuscan dishes and enjoy several glasses of local wine.

Climb back aboard your bus and continue to the hilltop town of San Gimignano, which is rich in medieval history and known for its many towers. You’re free to explore its sights independently.

The final stop on your full-day tour is Pisa. Enjoy time at your leisure to explore the Piazza del Duomo—another UNESCO World Heritage Site—and its many landmarks, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Pisa Cathedral.

The tour ends upon your return to central Florence.

NOTHING BUT FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We prebooked our CiaoFlorence tour, which I highly recommend. We did a group tour of about 60 people on a tour bus. This did not pick us up at our hotel, rather we had to get to the train station to meet them. The best...More

Beautiful day

Enjoyed this tour very much. Our guides, Michaelee and Catarina, were knowledgeable about the area. Lunch and wine tasting were delicious. Glad we did this tour.

This is a really good way of seeing three fantastic places in one day. It is a long day lasting between 11 and 12 hours, so be warned! It begins in Siena where you are hosted by a local guide who shows the group around...More

Yes, they provided a plain pasta with tomato sauce option. I would recommend advising them of special dietary requirements at the time of booking though.
