Visited with my boyfriend in March. We were staying in Florence for a few nights and this was a great way to escape the city and enjoy the Tuscan hills! Gloria was an amazing host and very knowledgable. We were well fed and watered! The wine tasting was perfect and the food was delicious. This was a unique experience, contained to a small group, free of crowds and we really enjoyed ourselves!

My daughter and I had a terrific lunch at Flo's last Saturday. The place was humming, the food served within an appropriate time and, as always, the staff attentive and very cheerful - tres bien. Daughter had a wonderfully presented scallop crepe and I had my fave, The Spaniard. Lashed out and had the avo with it! Excellente! More than enough for daughter and she is a "good" eater; I took half mine home as was not quite as hungry as I thought. Always a "yum yum" experience. Merci beaucoup, Flo's.

Not only was the travel arrangements so easy, the team was so personable and fun! Gloria, Lavinia, and Carmela were the best! We laughed, danced, and ate a lot. The class was simple to follow and provided a lot of opportunities to get your hands dirty! Don’t forget to mention, we left so full of pasta and gelato 😋 recommend you arrive with an empty stomach

We traveled in 3 citys. This tour was one of the best experiences I had in Italy. We first met our group at 8.00 am, and our tour guide was so sweet and with good knowledge of the history. First stop was in Siena, second stop in San Gimignano and last stop in Pisa. We saw many beautiful places, we had a wine tasting experience also. We returned around 20.00, with their bus. Their bus driver was also good & kind, and i felt safe throughout my journey. Definitely recommended!

Our family (me and husband, 18 and 23 year old children) did this tour last week. I really cannot do the review justice on how amazing the tour was. Claudia was our guide she was the best. It was a long day yes, but we knew what to expect. The lunch and wine tasting were our favorite part and it was a beautiful day! Highly recommend!

Becky was our guide - we were very lucky that no one else signed up for the Duomo tour - so it was like getting a private tour. She was incredibly informative - I learned so much about art and art history during the italian renaissance. The Duomo was incredible and she gave detailed information on its construction, the meaning behind the frescoes. I loved the visit to the associated museum where she pointed out important works and the evolution of artists’ styles and techniques. One of the most fascinating tours I’ve ever been on. The climb is strenuous but worth it. Communication is excellent. Seamless. Would go on so many more tours with Becky in particular! Strongly recommend!

What can I say? Highlight of our trip. This experience was referred to us by friends. It exceeded expectations. The only downside was that the “family farm” feel was really a “business”. However, it was still great, easy, and convenient. The pizza, wine, and gelato were amazing!

We had a wonderful time with our guide Tony and driver Labi. Tony was so full of information and so attentive to everyone’s needs, but also included down time on the coach between driving place to place. This tour does include quite Abit of walking and this was our 7th day in our 7th city so we were very sore but well worth it. Our highlight of the trip was the stop for lunch, tasting the different wines and getting to speak to people on our coach that we hadn’t before.

Emma was with us all day. She’s witty, but knowledgeable & made for a fun day. City of Siena was amazing & our local guide still lives there gave us all the history. The family winery where we had lunch is absolutely beautiful. Took advantage of the free shipping to take the US & worry free trying to get wine home. Shopping in San Gimignano awesome & beautiful as well. While it was fun to see the iconic leaning tower of Pisa, made for a long day so be prepared. Was a complete full day & well worth the pricing. Definitely recommend.

5/5 experience with Gabriel. Everything was on point and punctual. We learned A lot of Tuscany and visited Pisa. Tuscany is a def visit and Pisa is just for a quick picture

One of the best experiences one could have. Lavi was extremely knowledgable and personable, making the trip equally educational and enjoyable. The excursion allows you to go places in Tuscany that are virtually impossible for normal tourists to reach, resulting in authentic food and world-class views. I enjoyed the Safari so much that my time in October 2024 was my second time doing it, and I would sign up again in a heartbeat. The Safari is not to be missed!

We were a family of 4, and this was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Italy! Lavinia, Arla and Tiziano were so much fun, and excellent to work with! our 2 teen daughters had a great time, and best of all, the pizza and gelato were DELICIOUS! Just a quick 12 minute bus ride from the Florence meeting point, and a great family bonding experience! Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic! Walkabout Tours' "Off Road Tuscany Wine Tour" from Florence exceeded expectations. Gina, our guide, was exceptional – patient, knowledgeable, and radiating passion for Tuscan wine. Marco, our driver, made sure we safely arrived at our destinations. My three kids, new to the world of wine, were captivated by the off-road adventure and the insightful explanations of the wine making process. The rustic lunch and stunning scenery perfectly complemented the delicious wines, making it a truly memorable day. Highly recommended for a unique Tuscan experience!

Wonderful tour. David and Sergio did a wonderful job. Enough time at each stop to get a good overview. Bus was comfortable. Guided tour in Siena was informative. Lunch at vineyard was a nice chance to meet fellow travelers.

Had an excellent day despite slightly damp conditions. The day was a good balance between sitting on the coach and walking around the places we visited. I recommend this as an introduction to Tuscany. Antonio was a great host, funny and informative without overloading us with facts. The driver Labi got us everywhere efficiently and without fuss. A few tips: Take travel sickness pills if you get travel sick, Tuscan main roads can be quite bumpy; it was colder than I expected even for March so bring an extra layer; we were a pretty big group so be prepared to walk everywhere in a line!
