What to expect
The Accademia Gallery—home to Michelangelo’s David, the legendary Renaissance sculpture— is at the top of every Florence itinerary. But with these VIP tickets, you’ll skip the long entrance lines and enter the museum directly. Explore on your own, taking time to visit paintings by other Renaissance masters like Botticelli and Filippino Lippi, and masterworks from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. You can also make a stop at the on-site Museum of Musical Instruments, where you’ll find intriguing exhibits of antique stringed instruments. Many museum-goers head straight to Michelangelo’s larger-than-life, world-famous marble warrior David, which he completed while he was still in his twenties. But don’t forget to check out Michelangelo’s other sculptures on view, including the unfinished work San Matteo, from 1506. There’s also the Hall of Prisoners, where his innovative Prigioni series is housed. Michelangelo’s talent is on full display with these four marble men struggling to free themselves from blocks of white marble. You can take time to view the works at your leisure, and spend as much time as you’d like before leaving the museum.

Easy to arrange and pay for online with was great. Once we arrived we needed to look for an SAS representative on the street to exchange our voucher for the entrance ticket. We were expecting to find an office for this, and needed to ask a museum official where we needed to go. There were different ways to check in we learned, depending on where or how the voucher was purchased. Slightly confusing as we all were looking for ticket places/ people. After several minutes we found the SAS rep and it was an easy exchange.
DEFINITELY do a skip the line ticket as we did. The lines waiting we quite long without this pass. With it we walked in a few minutes before our scheduled time.

Easy skip the line passes and saved a lot of queuing. Easy to find the guide and quick distribution of tickets. Not guided but not really needed for this small gallery - David is the main attraction..

Dear Pkerr73, thank you for having shared your opinion with us and our common readers! We are happy to know that you have appreciated our skip the line service for the amazing Accademia Gallery. Our service allows you to collect the tickets from our staff, directly at the museum, avoiding the waste of your precious time and to visit the Gallery in total freedom. We hope to meet you again in the future! Our best regards

I’m so glad we included this in our day in Florence. We were greeted and guided to the right queue, and provided with our tickets. Very well organised and worth paying the extra to avoid the long wait in the other line.

We made a Uffizi gallery plus special exhibits skip the line booking for 9.30am, choosing Tripadvisor even though it was double the price of other operators, because we trusted them.
Instead, we got stuck with 4.30pm start time, which is half the time one needs to see the Uffizi ( this is formally noted in all official info about the Uffizi). We spent hours trying to rectify this, but there IS NO EMAIL ADDRESS FOR TRIPADVISOR nor VIATOR, their subsidiary operating this service. The local operator sent us to an email address which had nothing to do with them or Tripadvisor ( we wrote anyway bit received no reply). We view Tripadvisor's "Skip the Line Uffizi" service to be both deceptive advertising and unfair trading.

We still had to stand on a long line, even with skip the line tickets. The line was just a little shorter than the line with no tickets.

Dear TovaC11, many thanks for having booked one of our activities and having shared your experience with us and our common readers. The service of pre-booking provided by us ensures to skip the long unbooked line (the general admission line), which may last hours and above all, doesn't guarantee to find a ticket available. Unfortunately, despite our reservation, during periods of increased inflow of visitors, the admission to the museums may be subject to delays due to security reasons (security control at the entrance and maximum number of people simultaneously admitted inside the museum) for which the access to the museum is regulated according to the number of people inside it. The information "skip the line" is correct indeed, because you really avoid the long unbooked line that you would have stood, without our advanced reservation. The line that you found was only due to the security reasons written above, which responsibility is obviously not attributable to our Company and regard all visitors, even those as you, who already have the entrance ticket in their hands. We hope to have you on another of our activities in the future. Best Regards

This tour was perfect for my family. We are not museum people, per se, but this event allowed us to see the Statue of David on our own pace without committing to a full tour situation. We took the high speed rail from Rome to Florence early morning one day and visited the Statue of David that morning. We spent the remainder of the day exploring Florence and returning to Rome (via the high speed rail) the next day. Florence is a beautiful city with many sights within walking distance of each other.

These folks shouldn't be offering this tour. Museum is fantastic BUT we had a long wait as the person from this outfit sold via VIATOUR failed to meet us until 30 min after the scheduled meeting time and then didn't hold up the sign as promised on the email notice. Pick a different outfit for "skip the line"

Dear Sir, let us express our regret regarding your review, which is totally lacking of details which could help us carry on any further inspection. What we need to highlight is that our Assistant reaches the entrance of the Museum around 10.00am (almost half an hour before the first entrance time) and stays there until 11.45am (more than 15 minute after the last entrance time). For the whole time he is wearing a bright yellow jacket and continuously shows our Company yellow sign. The area out of the entrance of the museum sometimes might be crowded, but it is located in a really tight street and it's really impossible not to see our Assistant for more than 30 minutes. Additionally, all our customers, in case of need, have on their voucher our Emergency Contact number and in your specific case, we would have been really pleased to immediately help you finding our Assistant, if you would have called us. Best Regards

Skipping the very long lines is one thing but having a guide who can provide the historical background and insights is what this is really all about. We would have wondered aimlessly without fully understanding what we were looking at without this tour.

When we went to the meeting point, the CAF representative checked us in. The guide, I forgot her name, was very knowledgeable and kind. Even though it was a big group, she was attentive to everyone's need. It was a pleasant experience, and I'll use them again if I'm in Florence.
