      Learn to cook Italiano
We met the guide in the piazza where he then took us to the market, where we sampled some local delights. After the market we then walked to the cookery school where we learned to make typical Tuscan dishes The school was a great environment with the team being very professional & accommodating as 1 of our party is gluten intolerant.

      Wine tour to Tuscany
Alesia and Francesco were the perfect hosts for our wine tour. We had an absolute blast getting to see the Tuscan countryside and visit 2 wineries, while also tasting some local olive oil, balsamic vinegar, breads, and cheeses. Highly recommend going on a tour with this crew!

We did the San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Siena Tour with our guide Aaron. Aaron was super personable and informative - you could quickly tell he is passionate about his country and what he does.

The town of San Gimignano was incredibly scenic with picturesque Tuscan views. It was personally the highlight of the trip for this reason alone. Aaron was kind and gave us some critical information that the world’s best Gelato store was in the town, Gelateria Dundoli. We quickly made our way there and it did not disappoint.

Monteriggioni also had some amazing views and interesting history. I highly recommend you ascend the battlements for 5 euro and check out the incredible view … it is more than worth it.

Lunch was at a local Tuscan winery and they offered multiple selections of wines which were all delicious. The meal was tasty; however, I found it a little sparse (portion of pasta was small and I was still pretty hungry afterwards).

The final stop was Siena which was more busy than the other two smaller towns. It had a vibe much similar to Florence in that it was a lot more busy with tourists and had a large variety of shopping options. True to Italian form, the views of the Cathedral and architecture were beautiful and a must see for anyone visiting Italy.

Last but not least, our bus driver Enrico who did an impressive driver transporting our group around. Some of the tight corners he had to navigate in a small bus had most of the passengers sweating but he completed them with ease.

I highly recommend the his tour for anyone spending time in Italy, especially the Florence/Tuscan region.

It was a good itinerary that I can easily recommend to everyone. I will summarize it below for my own reference.

-I felt that the meeting place was relatively easy to find. I arrived about 20 minutes before the meeting point, but they were still accepting registration for the previous tour.

-There were about 50 participants in total? There were no other Asians, let alone Japanese people. I was happy to be able to ride a double-decker bus.

-We arrived at our first destination, San Gimignano, around 9 o'clock, and had about an hour and a half of free time. Our destination, the tower in the center, can be climbed from 10 o'clock, so we relaxed at a cafe in the square until then. The view from the tower was amazing! It was small and had a good souvenir shop.

-We had about 30 minutes of free time in Monteriggioni. There is a reception desk to climb the wall just to the right after entering the gate, so it's a good idea to use that as a reference. (Charged)

-At the winery, it was more of a lively tasting and sampling than a tour of the inside of the winery. However, the wine, balsamic vinegar, and food were all delicious. I feel like it's just the right amount for Japanese people.

    - We had just under an hour of free time at the beginning of Siena, then another hour of a simple city tour, followed by another 30 minutes of free time. The square in the evening was very comfortable, so we spent a good amount of time sitting there. I wasn't really sure how the tours were allocated along the way, but I think it would have been fine to just have free time all together.

    - Overall, I think it's great value for the price to see 3 cities + a winery. The guide's English was easy to understand, so even if you're not used to English on a daily basis, I don't think you'll have much trouble.

This tour is absolutely incredible. Recommend doing it earlier in the day because the afternoon gets extremely busy with tour groups and it becomes harder to get clear pictures.

The vineyards and countryside are breathtaking and the winery and tastings were an added bonus.

The guided tour in Siena is well worth it and the town is rich in beauty and history. Sandro the tour guide was fantastic spoke multiple languages and made everyone feel like family.

    Can’t recommend this experience enough

This is a great trip to get out of the city and see more of Tuscany. Martha, Fabiana and Merco were excellent and looked after us so well.
The amount of time in each location was spot on and the wine tasting stop was great, we got to taste more wine than we were expecting and nice to meet others on the trip while we ate.
The only reason that I have not given this trip 5 stars is due to the new process in Sienna ( which is not the fault of Trip Advisor but the Sienna council) where the bus is prevented from going into the drop off point and a local bus had to be used which was hot and crowded in the way back.
    Would still recommend this trip.

This tour was a never-ending cascade of disappointment. The first announcement was that there was no toilet on the bus, so “walk down the street and pay your Euro to take care of business first.” The bus was dreadfully warm and, even after repeated requests for some air conditioning and repeated assurances that “we will make sure that it is soon freezing for you,” it only got warmer and more uncomfortable.

The promised lunch at a winery sounded idyllic. Far from it. The huge group of people from multiple buses were herded to rows and rows of tables to wait. And wait. When the wine finally came around, you were forced to choose between the two initial offerings, sweet OR dry. Each person had only one glass, and each variety of wine was poured into the same one. There were four wines but the pours were barely enough to taste. The promised olive oil tasting never materialized. The food was worse. Very unimaginative and plain. We named one of them “funeral hot dish.” Then, dessert was a single biscotti to dip in your shot glass of sweet wine. The setting was barren of any actual rows of grape vines visible up close.

The tour guides needed a better script. Some was very difficult to understand due to the strong accent and their groping for the correct words. The Siena tour focused on minor details for long periods of time to the point that there was little time left to rush through at the end.

Thank goodness the three towns visited were so very beautiful.

Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Regarding the restroom on the bus, we understand the inconvenience and would like to clarify that for hygiene reasons, the on-board toilet is not available for use. We do encourage guests to use facilities before the tour departs to avoid discomfort during the journey. In terms of the lunch experience, we are surprised by your comments, as this is not the type of feedback we typically receive. Most of our guests find the meal and wine tasting to be one of the highlights of the tour. However, we will certainly follow up with our team and the venue to ensure that standards are being maintained. As for the tour leader, we will look into the matter to better understand the situation. We take pride in selecting highly professional and experienced staff, and we want to ensure that all our guests receive clear and engaging guidance throughout the day. Hoping that the above clarifications meet your understanding, Best regards

The ride itself was great! It's worth seeing. By the time of year, there was no Monteriggioni. In Siena, it is worth taking the tour with the Cathedral, which is stunning and has a guide specific only to the city of Siena. The lunch was in a very nice winery, but the wines with salty prices and the lunch was a penne a bolonhesa.

The day wqs a bit underwhelming. Everything was just okay. Our tour group was in English and Spanish. If you have the opportunity, go on a day where it's only your preferred language otherwise you're listening to everything being repeated twice and wondering if they are skipping details in order to accommodate both languages. Most of the day is not guided, you are free to roam around each location on your own which mainly consist of tourist shops. The time at each location was appropriate though.

The guided tour was only 45 minutes and was a little boring. It is about the different districts in sienna which you will visit 4, they are more or less just different city blocks which were marked on the walls each with a different symbol. The guide was not enthusiastic, but I don't blame her as there wasn't much to see in sienna.

The best part of the day was the winery and lunch, though I still just found it to be okay. You try four wines, about 1/4 of a glass each. The worker at the winery mentioned about getting drunk but with so little wine you're lucky if you leave tipsy. The wine was decent though, as was the food. The food was a light meal, which consisted of a bowl of pasta and cheese/meat plate. This particular winery didn't offer any really great views of vineyards, the best were a field of olive trees out back so don't expect to get any amazing pictures.

For the price of the tour it was okay, but I would probably choose something else like strictly winery tour at multiple spots since that was the best part of the day.

My discontent was with the organization of the agency. They emailed me a voucher from someone else, with a different meeting time, which made me miss the ride to Pisa, and fit me in another without Pisa. I was quite frustrated with it, given that Pisa was one of my favorite destinations on my European itinerary.

The excursion from my point of view is badly organized of time. We spent too much time in the first of the villages (San Gimignano), about two hours, a small village although with a lot of charm and medieval history. However, the guide did not give us enough historical context or point out important places to visit. Therefore, I had the feeling of feeling a bit like a flock in that town without any direction for us to buy in one of the souvenir shops. In the second of the villages the stop was ridiculous, as we were released there for 20 minutes with almost no explanation from the guide. It is a very original 12th century walled village. The stop at the winery was really worth it, the ladies who showed us the place and served us were very nice and helpful. And the wines worth trying! Finally, we visited Siena. This stop seemed totally uncompensated of time compared to the others, since it is a city with many things to visit and with a majestic cathedral, which certainly requires more visiting time and greater depth in explanation by the guide there.

Saludos cordiales,
