Chef Antonio not only shares his kitchen and cooking secrets - he also shares his family. His mother, his wife, his kids, and even extended family all made my husband and I feel so welcome. We have know Chef Antonio and his family for 3 years now and we would not miss any opportunity to spend time with them and share a fabulous meal. It is so much fun !!! Marsha & Frank

This hands on class offers an unforgettable journey into authentic Italian cuisine. We really enjoyed our time with Chef Antonio and visiting the local market where we learned how to pick produce and other food items for our home cooked meal. We enjoyed everything, but cooking with Chef Antonio and his sweet family in his home outdoor kitchen was the BEST! This class is for all ages, beginners and seasoned cooks. Chef Antonio led a wonderful evening Sicilian cooking class with bruschetta, ceviche, braciole, and spaghetti with pistachios with semifriddp for dessert. It was very educational and delicious! We hope to return someday! Thankyou for a great experience.

This experience was the highlight of our trip! Chef Antonio and his family were so inviting, they even were able to provide us transportation from our hotel. The food was hands down the most fresh, delicious food we’ve had on our trip and the wine was flowing the entire time. This is a wonderful experience for people who love food, wine and a good time! Antonio and his wife brought together a group of 14 from around the world and we ended as friends. Also he can accommodate food allergies- just make sure you are clear to let him know when you book and on arrival.

I don't even know what to say. We had such an incredible experience, and I don’t think it could have been better! What a cool experience to be invited into someone's home and cook with local ingredients and listen to stories from Chef Antonio. He's also absolutely hilarious, warm and inviting. We made delicious bruschetta, seafood pasta, swordfish, and he treated us to homemade cannolis. The outdoor kitchen was the perfect spot for dining! Also plenty of wine! This experience is worth every penny, and I encourage you to book it!

Chef Antonio and his family did a wonderful job hosting our cooking class! Chef Antonio told us stories of his travels and had us sample a variety of Sicilian classics! This is a must-do if you have time in Palermo. I would highly recommend.

I went to Sicily for my brother's wedding in June, and honestly this cooking class was one of the highlights of the trip. Not only was the food delicious, but Chef Antonio made the evening truly delightful. We were laughing all night, we learned a lot, and had a great conversation. And he even quickly pivoted the meal plan when he found out I was allergic to shellfish. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to get a taste of Sicilian flavors and is looking for a fun group experience. If/when I go back to Sicily, I will definitely sign up again.

From the moment that I met Antonio I was made to feel welcome. We met at the mercato in Palermo where we discussed the wonderful foods and what we might be cooking that evening. After meeting the other group members we commenced our walk through the mercato where Chef Antonio gave us hints on the best types of fish to buy. We all then left to later meet at a pick up point to head to our cooking class which was being held at Antonio's house. From the moment we entered his house, his family welcomed us and we went outside to the cooking area. From the very start drinks were offered and then we commenced our cooking adventure. We started off by making bruschetta and then we started to clean out some muscles ready to make muscle soup and then linguine with muscles and gamberi. Antonio went through the process of how we clean the muscles and then how we cook them. Then went onto making swordfish stuffed rolls which were coated in pistachio and put on skewers. To say the least it was a feast. Starting with bruschetta, muscle soup and linguine pasta with muscles and gamberi then we had swordfish rolls with salad and to top it off, Antonio made us some beautiful pistachio ice cream. The wine and entertaining conversations flowed throughout the night. Antonio was a gracious and entertaining host. Definitely something that you should do when in Palermo.

We traveled from the state of Ohio, USA, for an Italy vacation. My 23 yr old son, Wally, is a foodie back home and requested a cooking class in Sicily. I chose this one and couldn’t be happier with my pick!! From the moment Salvo picked us up to the moment he dropped off- our evening with Chef Antonio and his family was fabulous!! We cooked so much delicious food and his knowledge about cuisine was fantastic!! The atmosphere was incredible, and the guests we cooked with were so welcoming!!! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Palermo. Chef Antonio takes you into his home with his lovely wife and daughter and proceeds to open your life up with knowledge, fun, experience, fun, taste, fun, new skills, fun, life changing cooking techniques did I mention fun? The man is personable talented, down to earth, enjoyable, and taught us how to cook delicious meals. This was a highlight of out time in Palermo. We felt like family from the minute we stepped into his beautiful home. Highly recommend adding this to do. It was a small privet intimate class, so he was able to engage with each one of us very personably. If you only have one cooking class to choose during your stay in Italy THIS IS THE ONE!

Chef Antonio's class was amazing! The market tour was informative, and the class was both fun and educational. Chef Antonio injects a wonderful sense of humor with stories and experience on Sicilian culture while teaching cooking techniques that can easily be adapted at home. Highly recommend!

Very lovely family that greets you at the front door when you arrive. Then we went to the backyard where they have an outdoor kitchen that was really nice. We got introduced to what we were going to do with a serving of Aperol. Then we started cooking five meals with seafood and regular meat if you were not into seafood. While we were cooking he gave us history lessons about Sicily and their food and explained how to see the difference between good and bad food in the market. Then we got a lovely glass of wine (or a little more than a glass) while we were eating. We ended things with some ice cream with a limoncello.
