The lunch he provided was more than we could eat and he took us to some absolutely beautiful beaches. Although it was a very busy day, he managed to squeeze us in quite close to the shore! I can absolutely recommend Carlo and his boat to either a family with young children or, in our case, a family with teenagers. We all loved the paddle board provided too.Written 2 September 2021

Carlo is very easy to communicate with in advance by whatsapp, and he arranged everything for us to have a Nice day. We stopped at several beautiful beaches with amazing blue water for a swim, and at the second stop Carlo had a great lunch for us including wine and beer. The places Carlo showed us were simply majestic and amazing for swimming and snorkeling. He took us to places which were not too crowded by the large and noisy tourist carrier boats. We were in a small group of 6 which was very nice and created a pleasant atmosphere. Carlo prepared an amazing lunch and served us with great Sardinian wines and fresh fruit. The tour lasted pretty much the entire day, and it was well worth the money. Definitely recommended!Written 30 June 2019
- Marlene G0 contributionsCan't think of a better way to see the archipelagoWe got to Palau in the middle of August (highest season) and had no plans. Walked into a pizzeria and someone gave us Capitan Carlo's number. Arranging the tour was very easy and everything was frictionless. The boat (Soraja) is a sparkling 33 foot speedboat that is fully equipped to make the day trip perfect. Carlo took a route that made us feel like we were the only people in la Maddalena; he even cooked a two course meal (appetizer and pasta) on board on a pristine turquoise dessert beach in Budelli. He popped open the fridge to reveal a supply of fantastic local wine and beer. The day could not have been more perfect, until before our last stop, Carlo stopped the boat and yelled "delfino", pointing at the fins of a group of dolphins just off of our boat. Carlo was easy to communicate with and open about explaining the Sardinian customs. We had interesting conversations with amazing views and unforgettable swims. The cozy atmosphere of having only 8 people on the boat made us feel like a good friend showed us around his home in his boat, instead of feeling like we bought a tour in high season in Palau.Written 25 August 2018

We booked Boating Sardinia for our family day trip and all of us agreed it was one of the highlights of our Sardinia trip. We have booked boat excursions in the past and feel that Carlo was the perfect captain. He is professional, knowledgeable and willing to make adjustments to make our trip more enjoyable. We experience some rain later in the day and Carlo altered the itinerary find us a clear beach and avoid the large tour boats. Some captains really want to talk but Carlo lets the guests relax in silence, play their music, nap and talk amongst themselves. Or, he is equally at ease chatting and answering questions. My daughter mentioned later in the week that the lunch Carlo provided was better than many we had at a few expensive restaurants, and I agreed. His boat was in excellent condition, and we really enjoyed the extra shade and rain protection his Pershing offered, while those on RIB's were all huddled together, we were spread out with a few napping. I would recommend highly, and if he has an openings during your visit, book Carlo immediately.

Having done quite a few private boat tours around the world this was by far the best. We spent the entire day touring but without long periods between locations. We had plenty of time in each place and a very Italian buffet lunch, complete with espresso to finish made the day truly wonderful. The area is some of the most beautiful coastline in the world but with Carlo as our guide, we enhanced that experience as well as being taught to paddleboard into the bargain. I would highly recommend Carlo and his tour.

By far one of the best experiences!! My husband and I visited Sardinia last June 2022 and before our trip I was browsing activities and luckily came across Boating Sardinia. Carlo the captain was so nice, welcoming and really made you feel comfortable! He recommended the best places to go depending on what the weather/wind is like that day and every place he took us to was absolutely gorgeous. He provided a beautiful lunch, wine, beer & espresso. We paddle boarded to shore and then spend a lot of time on the front layout pad. Lets just say we were very sad to leave! I have already recommended this to multiple friends and we will definitely be back to revisit this beautiful experience. Thanks Carlo!

The perfect boat day, highly recommended. We had the pleasure to spend an amazing day around La Maddalena Archipelago with Carlo as our captain. He is was very professional and took great care of us. He knows the best spots around the small islands and makes the entire experience really worth it. We really enjoyed the overall experience and will definitely come back.

We could not have asked for a better experience! Carlo was fantastic. He was attentive, genuinely kind, gave many recommendations for the local region, and ensured we had a great time all day! The boat was the perfect size, equipped with all you could ask for. I highly recommend this tour. I should mention the crystal clear water and scenery is to die for!!! This was the highlight of our entire trip!

A grand tour of the beautiful La Maddelena archipelago! Carlo was an amazing captain and host for this full day tour. He is a skilled yachtsman and expertly navigated the beautiful boat mooring just offshore from several secluded but beautiful beaches. We swam in gorgeous clear waters, enjoyed a fabulous lunch and drank fantastic Vermentino from his uncle’s private vineyard. Carlo even dove several meters down to retrieve my daughters towel when she dropped it off the boat. A great day on the water!

10 stars! Beautiful scenery, water, beaches. Carlo catered to our every desire and ran 1/2 hour overtime so we could visit an exquisite beach. Our family bonding time was really special. We also enjoyed the paddle board and snorkeling. Saw sea cucumbers swimming. I wish we could have another day on his boat!

100% recommend this Charter. My wife and I are from California and wanted a a private stress free way to enjoy and see the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We found Carlo with Boating Sardinia! We had an amazing experience! Everything was excellent. The boat is very clean and Carlo is super nice, helpful, professional and he speaks excellent english. We stopped at all the beaches and places he has listed on the website. It is all so beautifuland breath taking, just like in the pictures and videos you see on you tube. He provided a beautiful lunch with plenty of water and wine. We also got coffee and snacks. This experience was waaay more than we expected and is worth every penny!!!! You really get your money's worth and then some! We absolutely had the best time every and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Truly a memorable experience!!! Carlo was great from beginning to end. The weather was somewhat challanging in the morning and he offered flexibility by starting the tour later in the day while maintaining the same amount of hours. Carlo was very warm and friendly with the kids and even joined them in some fun activities. I would absolutely recommend this experience and look forward to coming back and repeating this beautiful day!

Unfortunately due to strong winds our trip was curtailed and cancelled. Carlo contacted us prior to the trip to advise us of the weather conditions and offered an alternative date. Unfortunately the weather would only improve on the day which we were due to fly home on and he subsequently offered us a full refund.
I will definitely try to book Carlo again in the future as the trip sounds amazing and something we were eager to do.

If I remember correctly there has been no fuel surcharge. We negotiated a price for6 hours which covered everything. Even a small lunch with wine was included.
