- CraigLee30 contributionsThe secrets of San SperateClaudia and Barbara were great! We learned so much about the area, the people and the culture of San Sperate—as well as the significance of the murals throughout the town. Fascinating! And highly recommended!Written 11 October 2024
- valeriemiller950 contributionsLovely beach morning out the cityWe were picked up together with 2 other travellers and driven to Chia, while learning about Sardinia and Cagliari. Before the trip, Claudia sent a message with useful details, like what to bring, where and what time we are meeting. While at the beaches, we had enough free time to relax, swim and sunbathe, as well as grab lunch at a beach cafe. Lovely trip out of the city, worth adding to your itinerary. Thanks Claudia and Barbara!Written 28 September 2024
- Global598583983930 contributionsBeautiful beaches with a knowledgeable guideExcellent way to get to some of the more remote beaches from Cagliari. Claudia was a fantastic guide who shared details of the area's history during the drives in English for me and Italian for the others on the trip. When we arrived at the beaches we had 1.5 -2 hours to explore or swim on our own. We were lucky to see some flamingos on the way back! Great option for those who want explore the remote beaches but don't want to hire a car or catch a long bus.Written 21 July 2024
- 694michaelh6940 contributionsHighly recommended visit to NoraOur guide Claudia gave us an excellent sense of the layers of civilisation at Nora. She speaks perfect English and has a great personality and sense of humour. She answered every question raised clearly. The site is extensive but there was no sense of rush and we got to take in every part. We left with a great appreciation of the importance of Nora. As an added bonus, Claudia gave us some food and restaurant recommendations on the journey back to Cagliari. Super trip, super guide.Written 31 May 2024

- shubhras20230 contributionsLovely, lovely, lovely! It was amazing!! Claudia and Barbara were such amazing hosts/guides—so kind, helpful, attentive. I was solo on this trip. They could easily have canceled but didn’t and made me feel so welcome to Sardinia! Please do enrol for their trips—I’ve only felt lucky to have done so! Thank you, ladies!!!Written 22 March 2024
- CalebBrownW0 contributionsGood experience in general, read this before you bookClaudia is an amazing guide and everything was great, they picked us up with a 7-seaters car and passed by a few spots in Cagliari and filled us with a lot of information before going to two beaches in Villasimius. The two beaches are quite diverse (and as I have heard she would possibly bring you to a different one depends on the day/season), for us, the first one was super quiet & peaceful, almost feel like private. The second one was a little more crowded but still spacious, nothing like Poetto or Porto Giunco. The ride to the beaches is beautiful and you will see some historical sites (like Nuraghé from ancient time) but it is also quite rough and can be long if there are trucks on your way, so if you get car sick easily, please reconsider/ let them know ahead. On the way back they took the tunnel so it was smooth and fast, we stopped to see the flamingos before going back to the city center, and you have the options to be dropped of at Poetto to enjoy more beach time! I gave only 4 out of 5 despite it was an amazing experience on the beaches because…the trip itself is quite expensive and all they provide are their service/guide and the car ride. I wouldn’t say it is overpriced because Claudia and her partner really poured their heart in their job, and I enjoyed every seconds in the trip. But with this price you can also choose something more adventurous like a boat trip if you like water, and if you want to know more about history & Cagliari you might want a historical tour instead.Written 31 August 2023

- gcasazza0 contributionsUnforgettable Private Tour at Nora with the Exceptional Guide, Claudia!I had the absolute pleasure of embarking on a private tour of Nora in Sardinia, and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. At first, I must confess, I wasn't really looking forward to the tour as much as my mom was. However, the charm of Nora and the proficiency of our guide, Claudia, completely transformed this tour into a highlight of our trip. Nora, with its stunning water views and immense historical depth, took my breath away. The ruins, the amphitheater, the mosaics, and the overall ambience of the place were captivating. Yet, what made this tour truly unforgettable was the ever-knowledgeable and friendly Claudia. Claudia was the embodiment of an ideal tour guide. Her knowledge about the site was extensive and her passion for the history of Nora was contagious. Every story, every detail she unveiled about the ruins, added a layer of intrigue to our exploration. Her friendly and engaging manner made the information she shared not just interesting, but truly captivating. It felt less like a conventional tour and more like a journey back in time narrated by a friend who knew all the secrets of the past. The tour was so much more than I had anticipated. It was educational, it was fun, it was visually stunning and, most importantly, it was inspiring. Thanks to Claudia, an excursion that I was not initially thrilled about turned out to be an experience I will cherish for a long time. If you ever find yourself in Sardinia, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Whether you are a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or someone just looking for a unique experience, Claudia's tour of Nora is sure to impress. She is a gem of a guide, and the tour is a testament to her dedication and love for Sardinian history and culture. Thank you, Claudia, for this incredible tour!Written 18 July 2023

- davidbO6939JI0 contributionsGreat experience at NoraClaudia was a great guide, very knowledgable and friendly. The context she gave made the whole experience come alive. Nora is a beautiful and calm location surrounded by water and the ruins covered a much larger area than we expected. All in all, an excellent experience and highly recommend.Written 26 May 2023

- S636MVjane0 contributionsAn excellent relaxing beach tourThe two beaches visited on this trip we’re beautiful. The tour was relaxing aswell as giving an overview of history the area. The beaches were different and both well worth a visit. It was a shame the trip ‘what to bring’ had not listed swimsuit - I didn’t pack mine . But I managed a short glorious dip in old shorts and tee shirt- delightful.Written 20 October 2022

I wanted to find someone who knew something about Nuraghic archaeology and history and not just some hack guide. My travel agent found Genna tours. They argued that I should not go to Su Nuraxi but should go to Piscu because it was better preserved and would be less crowded. I must confess that i was a bit sceptical but Claudia seemed to know what she was talking about. And she was right. The site is very well preserved. Digs are still going on on the site. And it’s very quiet so you get to have a spend almost 2 hours there going over the site and with hardly anyone else there you dont get any interruptions. Claudia knows her stuff and we had some interesting discussions about various topics. If you want to learn something about this interesting civilisation book this tour
