Discover Verona’s gastronomy and the city highlights during this 4-hour walking tour. Stroll down the quaint streets of the historic city center and stop at gourmet food shops, delis, and cafes sampling local foods such as Bogli pasta, cured meats, gelato, and local wines. Visit old Roman ruins, take in the views of the city from a panoramic terrace, and ride the funicular to the highest part of the city.

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Piazza Bra

10 am Meeting Point: Piazza Bra n.28 in front of "Farmacia Internazionale" entrance.
• Your Tour Leader (born and raised in Verona) will take you through the city center, giving you time to admire the old monuments.
• 4 delicious high-quality culinary stops based on Veronese dishes:
• Breakfast in a cozy real PASTICCERIA, with their own workshop 
• stop in a real DELI SHOP, tasting classic cheese and cold cut appetizers and home make bread, all paired with excellent Soave white wine
• hot main dish based on the veronese traditions: BIGOLI with ragù or POLENTA with melted cheese, (you can ask what you prefer) paired with a great glass of Valpolicella wine 
• Stops in unconventional places, such as venues with roman ruins
• Big glass of AMARONE red wine paired with dark high quality chocolate and the " sbrisolona", our local crunchy cake
• Olive oil tasting paired with great wine
March/Oct: Funicular railway which takes you to the highest part of the city  + ice cream to end the tour
Winter season: extra DOCG wine paired with Christmas local pudding
• A local certificated tour leader taking you through the narrow hidden streets of the city and the main monuments
