- Global530909941740 contributionsFabulous introduction to Verona!Highly recommended tour. Had a very knowledgeable and passionate guide and were made to feel very welcome to this great city. We were shown highlights that we would never had discovered on our own. Great value and a good way to familiarise yourself with Verona.Written 18 December 2024
- MiamiMom-70 contributionsFabulous, informative tourExcellent walking tour with Andrea. We were the only ones so we received a private tour. Andrea is a delight! She is so knowledgeable and explains everything regarding history and current events. She spent over two hours with us and we were sad it ended, I could’ve spent the entire day with her. After taking another tour the following day with a similar itinerary, we could see the major differences because Andrea had been so thorough the previous day. We felt bad for the others as we saw ourselves quietly sharing our knowledge because the tour guide was just walking silently.Written 11 December 2024
- Angela W0 contributionsLove this class!I love this class. I have done it three times—once solo, once with my mom, and once with friends. Christina is so funny and knowledgeable, and she has a great team around her. Christina makes everything easy to understand, and she gets the whole class involved with cheering, group work, and general laughter. The recipes are simple yet delicious, easily replicated (with fresh ingredients!). Christina has even been kind enough to recognize me after my first visit and change up the pasta type. I’ve now made 3 different pastas with her alone. And the risotto recipe changes with the season, so every time I get something new. My friends and family enjoyed their classes as well. I’ll be back!Written 8 December 2024

- oneintheirpride0 contributionsA fantastic way to taste the wines of Valpolicella, and to see where the wine is madeThis an excellent and comprehensive tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable, and drove us to 2 different wineries in the Valpolicella region. Both tours were excellent, very different, and in all we tasted 11 high quality wines, all accompanied with local cheeses and meats. The short (20 minutes) drive also provides an opportunity to see a little more of the region. We can't recommend the tour highly enough - a must if you visit Verona.Written 29 October 2024

We had a wonderful afternoon with Christina in the kitchen learning to make authentic italian gelato. Christina was formidable at engaging our 5 children of all ages (9-20) in the preparations as well as explaining everything about the processes and tastes. It was very low key but very high quality. We had many many tastings and left with full (!) stomachs, a great experience, knowledge of gelato-making and inspiration to try many more flavours at home, and a good family memory. Thank you for an excellent gelato-making course for our family !

We had Christina for our gelato class, she was so lovely & helpful! The ice creams all tasted delicious, the kitchen only has a limited amount of equipment so you really get involved with the other guests and take it in turn making a flavour.
The experience is probably a little overpriced, but definitely fun to do.

Great experience and fun. Chefs very knowledgeable. It was fun. Each person could experience the art of gelato making. The tastings with various toppings were awakening the tastebuds. Great family, friends or solo experience.

One of the things I was most looking forward to…but I was bored…
At £51 per person I really expected more than a basic chocolate/ vanilla/ fruit (blend peaches with syrup then stick in an ice cream maker) demo. Not only that but there were 9 in the class and 5 ice cream makers, so had to share pots and essentially had nothing to do for two hours.
At that cost per person the expectation was any of the below: drink on arrival; make our own and pick flavours; actually learn something I couldn’t have googled.
Chef was entertaining, experience just wasn’t worth the price tag.

We visited Venezia and Verona and took the Gelato-making class in Oct 2024. The Chef Max was very professional, patient, informative, chatty and friendly. Children like him very much. He explained each step very clearly. The gelato was delicious!

We had Max as our teacher. A great guy who worked very hard. Children (9/10) loved it as did adults. 2+ hours flew by. Great tasting glato at the end. Also fully air-conditioning so cool in the summer sun for a few hours.

The class was good. The one issue I have with it, no recipes for the gelato bases were given. I asked and was told that they would be emailed later as they were working on them. Up to now, still have not received them and cannot reproduce them at home. SO take your own notes even though you are told not to. on the other hand the class introduced me to some associations I would have never thought of.

Dear Marjorie,
Thank you so much for your feedback about the class! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the experience.
We are very sorry to learn that you were unable to download the recipe book at the end of the lesson, as we intend for all our guests to have access to it.
We are happy to inform you that a member of our team has just contacted you to send you the recipes! We hope you enjoy recreating gelato at home.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

I bought this experience for my parents to do with my son and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Simona was very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. She went out of her way to make my 5 year old feel safe and included. My parents enjoyed learning about (and tasting) the three different styles of gelato. Simona made the experience very memorable for everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed Cristina's class in gelato making. It was fun cooking with this small group. The gelato was delicious and we were introduced to many interesting flavors to combine, from basil to pistacchio to licorice to saffron! Cristina è molto gentile!

Hi We would like to do this as a family is it possible to get a discount for a family of 5? 264 dollars is a lot of gelato. Maybe 175-200 dollars would be a fairer price for 3 hours.
